Transfer was today! Everything went smoothly,
and now it looks like my beta will be 8/12. We also asked the
embryologist to put the gender in an envelope, and we read it at lunch
after the transfer. A girl !! Now we wait!
Me:27 DH:28 Married in August 2013 IVF w/PGD to rule out a genetic disorder First IVF cycle: ER 6/20/16 (42 eggs retrieved, 31 mature, 27 fertilized with ICSI, 9 frozen and biopsied) Results: 3 embies passed both PGD & PGS testing (2 boys and a girl ). FET on 8/2/16, transferred our girl embryo. Beta on 8/11: 124!! Second Beta on 8/15: 1,117. First ultrasound (7 weeks) scheduled for 8/30.

AFM- We got our update on our embryos! We have 8 blasts total being sent out for PGS testing! I am beyond ecstatic. I'm feeling hopeful now that at least one (hopefully more) are going to test normal!!
DH and I leave for 12 days of vacay tomorrow, and we will get our results while we're on vacation. I was worried that my nerves about PGS testing would get in the way of me being able to fully enjoy myself, but I am going to MAKE myself relax now. After one disappointment after another throughout our TTC journey, I am beyond thankful for our 8 little bundles of hope.
This will be my last update on this board since I belong more on the August/September board now with our FET planned for September. But I will continue to come here for the rest of y'alls results and will post a final success report with our spreadsheet once all results come in! We've had a good IVF group here!

@knottie36622473 congrats on your beta! Mine rose a little over 60% in 48 hrs and my re said they like to see it double within 48-72 hrs and as long as it increases 60% in 48 hrs it's good.

AFM this morning I had with some bleeding (darker red) it has since stopped and is now just brown spotting. I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. My nurse said it could be a number of things but to try and take it easy. Ughh trying not to freak out. Ultrasound in two weeks. She said I could do another beta to see if my numbers are still increasing. Hopefully it was just a little tear and that embryo is still cooking.
@Sunflower5678 I'm sorry I would be freaking out too, being the worry wart that I am! I know the reality is that some bleeding is normal and can be so many things. Praying for you that it is nothing!!

@Sunflower5678 the same thing happened to me the night before my first beta. I actually had a gush (sorry TMI) of blood, it freaked my husband and myself out and I was sure AF was coming or I was miscarrying. I took multiple HPT's that night and they were actually darker. I went to the clinic and cried my eyes out convinced my beta would be bad. The nurses told me this is actually very common. They even had one of the nurses who has been a surrogate TEN times come talk to me. She told me 7/10 times she bled.
Are you on crinone? I've read if you insert all the way up (which I was doing) it can irritate your cervix and cause bleeding. I've since only put it up about halfway.
Also, my clinic put me on Progesterone in Oil too now (so I'm on both crinone and PIO injections) just in case. I'll let you know if that calms the brown spotting down. I like you have had no more red, but very dark brown (once again sorry TMI).
I'm walking on egg shells and praying my second beta goes well Monday.

Thank you for the nice words. Still a little brown spotting today but much less than yesterday. Im on progesterone vaginal suppositories 3xa day so maybe I did place one up too far? Only time will tell. I think I'm going to do a HPT tomorrow to see. thank you all again.
Hi ladies. Just wanted to update you guys that unfortunately things aren't progressing as we'd hoped with my pregnancy.

Just had my 6 week u/s on Thursday and they could only see an empty sac--no yolk sac, fetal pole, or heartbeat. RE said she has a small glimmer of hope that maybe it's too early but I should prepare for a miscarriage. They scheduled an ultrasound for next Wednesday. Just last night I had spotting and cramping after the u/s. Called my RE and she said spotting is normal in early pregnancy and to continue my meds for now. So now I'm so confused and my emotions have gone from so happy for my positive betas to devastation when there was nothing to see in the u/s. kind of in limbo mode now until the next u/s and feeling like I just want to hide from the world until then. Just feel like bad news is coming. Sorry to be a downer! This whole process is just full of ups and downs and its so hard.

Oh yikes @emgem819!! I really hope you had a late implanter and just need a few more days for things to progress. I know how scary the ultrasounds during early pregnancy can be (I discovered my MMC at my "graduation" appointment) and I hope you can find a way to calm your nerves (easier said than done, I know).

Hi Ladies. I've been away for a while. We took a short break from fertility treatments when we decided to make the jump from IUI to IVF. I had (2) 6 day PGS embryos transferred on 7/29/16. Beta is scheduled for Wednesday 8/10/16. Every little tinge makes me think I'm not pregnant, but I'm trying to stay positive. I'm having a hard time waiting for Wednesday.
Any thoughts on POAS? Or help with being patient?

@MarlyHC Welcome! I personally am anti-POAS, but only because I've had horrid luck with them. I much prefer the accurateness of a beta. I hope you can find a good way to pass the time until Wednesday!

@MarlyHC I ended up poas prior to my beta only because I had some bleeding and it freaked me out and just couldn't wait! Mine did end up being positive but if it wasn't for the bleed I think I could of waited! Good luck trying to find something to distract you for a few more days!
AFM - still spotting darker red. I went in for a 3rd beta and numbers looked great at 4056. If I continue to bleed they will move my ultrasound up to next Friday when I will be 6 weeks. Hoping it stops before then and this little bean (or beans) stick around!
Welcome @MarlyHC! I haven't gotten to my TWW yet but I am going to try hard not to POAS, and just wait for beta. It is more accurate. FX for you for Wednesday!!!

this morning I had with some bleeding (darker red) it has since stopped and is now just brown spotting. I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. My nurse said it could be a number of things but to try and take it easy. Ughh trying not to freak out. Ultrasound in two weeks. She said I could do another beta to see if my numbers are still increasing. Hopefully it was just a little tear and that embryo is still cooking.

Are you on crinone? I've read if you insert all the way up (which I was doing) it can irritate your cervix and cause bleeding. I've since only put it up about halfway.
Also, my clinic put me on Progesterone in Oil too now (so I'm on both crinone and PIO injections) just in case. I'll let you know if that calms the brown spotting down. I like you have had no more red, but very dark brown (once again sorry TMI).
I'm walking on egg shells and praying my second beta goes well Monday.

Growing baby grow!! 8/25/2016-another ultrasound at 7 weeks and baby has a heart beat of 129 BPM and is 10mm/1cm! Grow baby grow some more!! Graduated from RE at 10 weeks and had ObGyn appointment at 13 weeks. It's a girl (found out via panorama test) EDD 4/13/2017

Im on progesterone vaginal suppositories 3xa day so maybe I did place one up too far? Only time will tell. I think I'm going to do a HPT tomorrow to see. thank you all again.

Just had my 6 week u/s on Thursday and they could only see an empty sac--no yolk sac, fetal pole, or heartbeat. RE said she has a small glimmer of hope that maybe it's too early but I should prepare for a miscarriage. They scheduled an ultrasound for next Wednesday. Just last night I had spotting and cramping after the u/s. Called my RE and she said spotting is normal in early pregnancy and to continue my meds for now. So now I'm so confused and my emotions have gone from so happy for my positive betas to devastation when there was nothing to see in the u/s. kind of in limbo mode now until the next u/s and feeling like I just want to hide from the world until then. Just feel like bad news is coming. Sorry to be a downer! This whole process is just full of ups and downs and its so hard.

@MarlyHC I ended up poas prior to my beta only because I had some bleeding and it freaked me out and just couldn't wait! Mine did end up being positive but if it wasn't for the bleed I think I could of waited! Good luck trying to find something to distract you for a few more days!
AFM - still spotting darker red. I went in for a 3rd beta and numbers looked great at 4056. If I continue to bleed they will move my ultrasound up to next Friday when I will be 6 weeks. Hoping it stops before then and this little bean (or beans) stick around!
