If we were having a boy that was what I was planning to do with the nursery, same wall and animal accents. It was going to be a classy hunters theme (no camo allowed). Oh well, the little lady's room is coming along well.

The furniture just arrived! I'm obsessed and can't wait to get some decorations up. Though, with the way the headboard is, I'm thinking the Ella banner might no getter over the dresser. also, couldn't help but include the dog in the first pic. He was just being so good.
agreed @AllyTheKid... and the good news is, we have a mirror to go on the dresser once we're not using it as a changing table anymore so I won't have to patch the holes from the banner. Laziness ftw Shower is August 20th so I'll be posting the pic with the banner and asking for opinions, I'm sure, after then

I'm not sure how high the headboard goes, but you could always do a couple framed prints, either 3 across, or just 2, one on either side of the headboard peak... I've seen adorable ones that you can print yourself, then just pick up a frame for it! (I'm a total cheeseball, I'm a sucker for those sayings like "Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will move mountains" or "In a field of roses, she is a wildflower" - so sweet!)

I can't remember who was asking before about books featuring the night sky to make into nursery art (and am too lazy to scroll through so many pages!) but wanted to mention Steam Train, Dream Train and Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site. They aren't exclusively night sky themed, but they have beautiful starry sky pictures!
The furniture (minus the nightstand on back order) is getting delivered tomorrow between 12 and 4! I feel like a kid the night before Christmas (or whatever you celebrate!)!
Finally got our DS into the bigger room. Now finally time to set up the nursery. All I've done is the closet. We have all the stuff just have to put it together. I'm super excited but still didn't get to paint but there is always time for that. And who knows in another few months I might have changed my mind and want it to look complete different. This way I still have my white walls at least. Part of me is still sad about the not painting though. I'll get over it I'm sure.
After all the commotion today, the furniture is finally here! We still have to wait for the night stand and I need to get the decorations and move the vanity out of the room. The room looks smaller in the picture but there's not a lot of light in there right now..

MrsZoess - Our bedroom is grey walls with white trim and black furniture. I absolutely love it! I told hubby when we buy a house, our room is staying the same lol
@kc0825 Thank you! We are actually going to get another one because we don't have a doorbell. I found one on Etsy that says "The baby is sleeping and the dog is crazy. Please don't knock or ring the doorbell." My father in law is obnoxious when he knocks and it makes my dog crazy.
@NicholeL16- we disconnected our doorbell for that exact reason! And I can't stand people that are selling something and knock, hear the dogs going ape shit and either continue to knock or stand there. Rude! Lol
@bnsmith85 I hate it so much when people knock and make the dog go crazy. Once baby comes, if you don't have my number to text/call that you're here, you probably don't need to be here.
