    @oxinfree, I'm really sorry to hear that. I think it would only get harder even though you've been at it for 5 years. (Which, btw, is really impressive to me. I'm ready to give up after 1.5/4 Letrozole cycles!!)

    I also got a stark white Wondfo AND FRER this morning, so I am more than likely out this cycle. I have a weekend trip planned, the weather's finally nice, and I have a light week at work coming up.... so I'm trying to stay positive.

    I'm so sorry @LizzieJ13 - I really had hoped you were going to be the happy new of the day, but I'm so glad to hear you're trying to stay positive and look on the bright side of life. I'm trying to do the same. Big big hugs to you!!!

    Well, AF came yesterday. So IUI #1 is a bust. At least I can stop w/ the Progesterone suppositories for now.

    Baseline ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow, and then I assume we do the whole thing over again. For now, the plan is to do 3-6 IUI cycles before moving on to IVF. Our decision is based off of these 3 reasons:
    1. I've read that the success rate of an IUI goes up to 80% if done 3-6 times.
    2. IVF makes me nervous since it is so invasive. Since I'm also an emetephobe, I also worry about sedation having adverse side effects. (Ladies who have gone through IVF already- how was the process?)
    3. Cost. While I am SO thankful our insurance helps out greatly with IVF, it is still the priciest option.
    4. Time. I'm only 30, so I don't feel like we are under the gun in terms of my "biological clock".

    Hoping IUI #2 is the one, but prepared to do a few more. :smile:

    @KatBH - congrats!

    AFM - my beta is this Friday and I'm terrified. It's like I'm trying not to get my hopes up so I won't be so disappointed if it's BFN. But, I over analyze every little thing my body is feeling and since I've never been pregnant I'm not sure if it is normal or not. LOL... Like we live on the 2nd floor and I am getting winded every time I go upstairs which is not normal. Then I was feeling a little nauseous last night but I feel like it's too early to feel like that. I'm probably going to drive myself crazy by Friday but I'm really trying not to POAS before my beta. I might cave Thursday night b/c DH wants to find out at the same time and I don't know if they tell me at the RE appointment or if they call me. Should he go to that appointment with me or is it just like every other appointment where they just take blood??? Ok, enough about my crazy thought process. Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

    @Griffin5413 my clinic wont do a blood test until I get a BFP on test day (a week from today) but I won't hold out till then! I need the weekend to process either way. I actually decided to test out the trigger. As of this morning (9 days since the trigger) it's positive so fingers crossed it gets darker!

    Your symptoms sound promising!

    @lefemmeviolette Sorry about AF this weekend and good luck on your next cycle.  I think we will be starting IUI if this cycle doesn't work.  My insurance covers meds and IUI but not IVF so that may be the limit for us :(

    @Griffin5413 I know how you feel.  I have been going crazy! My beta is 4/20 and I've never actually made it to beta day without AF showing so the closer I get the more nervous I get.  And I am DEFINITELY reading into every little thing at this point.  I thought it was better this time since it's my fifth cycle but apparently not.

    AFM I decided to take a test yesterday but I didn't use FMU, and I SWEAR there was a line, but it's so faint it's unreal.  I have wondfos so I took two and one was darker than the other but I swear it was there.  So I dipped another in water to compare them bc DH didn't know what a negative one looked like and he thought there was a line too but it was only 9DPO so he wasn't getting excited, of course I say I'm not either but let's be honest... I'm ecstatic.  I took another test today with FMU and it looks the same.  I am waiting till Wednesday to use my FRER's because they are so expensive but it's driving me crazy.  I think my imagination is getting away from me and it's just an evap line or I'm going crazy.  DH says to wait until Wednesday to try again, not sure I can do that.  Just trying to count the little victories, no AF yet which could be since we started PIO this cycle but I'll take it.  I'm having funny cramps in the front right of my uterus for the last two days which are not like AF so I'm just going to cross my fingers and pray the days away that there is a little person in there :)

Have done 2 fresh, 1 frozen transfers, never gotten sick, never gotten overly nauseous either so don't worry too much about that for IVF (though everyone is different in their reactions).

    @Griffin5413 - holding on to some hope for positive news for you on Friday. This group is due ;)

    afm - beta this morning, waiting for official results telling me bfn (though I know that's what it is which makes the anticipation less). Will be curious if ANY level of implantation happened...
    sent doc my WTF follow up email (since we're headed out of town tomorrow, and want some answers sooner... ) he said he would make very thoughtful responses so look forward to getting his email later today. Thanks ladies for all your support this cycle. Sad it didn't turn out but still excited for all of you and any of your upcoming results!

    @BenNSarah ooh! Sounds promising! I hope you've got a little bean in there!

    @LeFemmeViolette Sorry about AF. ((hugs))

    @oxinfree Hopefully your doc has some answers for you.

    AFM today is 8dpo and I decided to start testing out the trigger. I got a positive wondfo, which I expected at just 9 days since the trigger. So now I get to see if it gets lighter or darker this week. Official test day is 4/25.

    @Griffin5413 Beta buddies - I am also testing Friday. I am going to try and hold out until then. I am out of town Tu-Th, so that helps, I think. Fingers crossed!

    @BingALing23 Good numbers! Looking forward to seeing another jump after this week. :)

    @LeFemmeViolette I'm sorry AF showed up. What a bitch. I do think it's great you have a plan to move forward. I am still rooting for you. Maybe #2 will be it!

    @BenNSarah Little victories are totally worth celebrating! And being hopeful is a wonderful thing. I am hoping you have a little person in there, too! Wednesday must seem like forever from now. ;)

    @oxinfree I am sorry that you're out. I hate this process has not yet been successful for you. I read your blog and think the questions you have lined up for your doc are well-thought out and hopefully that discussion will help you determine the best way to move forward. Big hugs for you.

    @girlryanne Fingers crossed for you and your lines getting darker! I am sure this week will feel like it's dragging for you, but maybe you'll know before the beta!

    I am CD22, 10 days post trigger. I am not testing until I go in on Friday morning. As I mentioned above, I leave for ATL tomorrow morning and won't be back until Thursday afternoon/evening. Hopefully that makes the week fly by.

    I am trying to not be overly sensitive about SS. I actually don't know how I feel on a scale of 0 to pregnant.

    This is what I posted to TTCAL on Friday: Am I tired because I am growing a child, or because of the progesterone suppositories? Am I hungry because I am pregnant, or because I am a fat kid at heart? Am I moody because there is life coming from within, or because I am on a fun mix of extra hormones? Who knows?! No one knows!

    Happy Monday to y'all. xo

    I tested yesterday with a FRER (6 days before my missed period; advertised 75% accuracy) and got a BPN.  I'm going to re-test tomorrow when the accuracy should be up above 99%, but not looking good so far

    I would've just waited to test later this week, but I'd rather take the hit on a weekend, then be pleasantly surprised later in the week, than take the bad news all at once on a weekday.

    @LeFemmeViolette We went to IVF after one round of IUI after being diagnosed with low AMH and our doctor estimating the chances of success at 5-10%. I was nervous about it for all the same reasons as you. The protocol for retrieval was harder for me than the retrieval itself and only because the ovaries get so enlarged that I was just uncomfortable a lot of the time.

    @Griffin5413 We are torn too! My beta is scheduled for Tuesday and DH is upset that he will be at work and we won't find ou together. My RE's office just draws blood and calls later with the results.

    Hi ladies, I am currently in my 2ww and driving myself crazy. Just a little about me. I did ivf in 2011 and got my DD in 2012. Have tried two frozen transfers in the fall and both have failed. We now did a fresh ivf cycle and  had a 3dt of 2 embryos. Both 8 cell. I have been poas (I know I shouldn't be) since 5 dpt. They've been positive everyday I tested except today. I'm assuming the hcg shot is out of my system now. Just hoping and praying I get bfp my beta is the 21st. Not sure if I have a chance anymore
