@oxinfree thanks, I think it's still the trigger. I've had one in my system for 11 days before - problem is I'm not sure if that was 11dpo OR 11dp the shot!! That'll teach me to not record things. (usually I note everything in my app!) In any case, I feel like it's really too early and I am pretty convinced it's going to be a BFN this cycle.

So, I'm cautiously optimistic, but I used a FRER this morning and it's a BFP! My day is crazy today, so I'm planning on testing again tomorrow morning and then going to my doctor on the way to work for a beta.

I also caved, but bfn... trying really REALLY hard to not get discouraged. Even went so far as to tweak my test and maybe there's a hint of a squinter, but more likely in my imagination. It's on my blog. Ugh.

@lefemmeviolette Every cycle I have thought of some "special" day to tell my husband. When we first started this I bought a baby jersey for his favorite football team, still waiting to give it to him! Last month was Easter. A birthday would be the perfect time! It looks like that worked for @bingaling23 so maybe it will be your lucky month too!
afm: my PIO and Estrace are really getting to me. I'm only 6dpo so the symptoms don't really mean anything but breakouts, exhaustion and nausea are making it really hard to work all day... and making it really hard not to get excited prematurely, since I know it's too early for those to mean anything other than my meds

I took another test this AM and there's still a faint line. It looks similar to yesterday's. I guess I have the worlds slowest metabolism!! And I'm feeling some AF-like cramps today so I'm not optimistic. If I weren't on progesterone, I'd be expecting AF Saturday or Sunday.

@LizzieJ13 - A line (even faint) is still good. HCG doubles every two days, so from day to day maybe not much difference, but perhaps by tomorrow you'll see some changes. Who knows too, maybe a different time of day would yield different results for you. I've heard some women say they get darker lines in the afternoon (even though in theory fmu is best). What brand are you testing with? (sorry if you've already said)

@oxinfree, I'm testing with Wondfos. The FRERs I ordered come in the mail today so I'll use one of them tomorrow AM (and a Wondfo too). This is such drama! I guess it'll teach me to test early, even though that has been fine in the past!

Thought I'd share my research on HPT sensitivities...
Although First Response hasn't released the sensitivity of their FRER tests, a med school laboratory conducted an experiment to determine the sensitivity of a variety of HPTs, including FRERs. The study found FRERs to have a sensitivity of 6.3 mIU/mL. As a comparision Wondfo HCG tests have a sensitivity of 25mIU/mL, per the Wondfo product website. The study is 10 years old, but I think it'd be safe to assume the FRER sensitivity is probably relatively the same. Here's a link to the abstract.

Hi Ladies. I figured I'd hop on to this thread since my Beta is scheduled for next Friday the 22nd. My transfer was Tuesday. I took Wednesday off and am back to work today. We transferred 1 frozen embryo after PGS we still have 4 frozen. I'm excited to see some great results already & looking forward to more!

Gotcha, I was overlooking that. How many days since the trigger shot, @LizzieJ13 and how many days in your cycle typically? This is my first medicated cycle, so I am still learning the ropes of testing out the shot and all that...

@fivetimesnoluck , I took the trigger shot 2 weeks ago tonight (Thursday) and am assuming I ovulated the following Saturday morning. Without progesterone, I get my period at 14 or 15dpo, which would be this Saturday or Sunday. With it, I have to stop it for AF to start (2 days later).
I took a test this past Monday (9dpo), and got a pretty clear positive so I knew the trigger was still there. Tuesday (10dpo) I thought I might have seen something, but threw out the test and figured there was nothing. Yesterday and today, I've gotten a faint line, about the same shade each day.
So that's my story.... like I said above, drama! Ha, I've been driving myself crazy this morning.

Hey all... so took another test this a.m. and another FRER BFN... this time stark white (maybe a touch of my trigger was what I saw yesterday). At 8dp5dt I really felt I should have an accurate result. Especially given that my period would normally be due tomorrow or Monday... Obviously DH and I are crushed, but after 5 years of infertility, not all that surprised. I'm really just at a loss at this point. Do I keep transferring my frosties? As Einstein says, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result! What's the point!? Just feel really defeated. I know some may tell me to remain hopeful but I think we can all use our common sense and say today is a pretty accurate indication that this cycle (yet again) didn't work out for me.

I got a BFP!!! Still in disbelief! At 8dp5dt my BETA was 56! I go back on Friday to make sure that the numbers are doubling.

@lefemmeviolette Every cycle I have thought of some "special" day to tell my husband. When we first started this I bought a baby jersey for his favorite football team, still waiting to give it to him! Last month was Easter. A birthday would be the perfect time! It looks like that worked for @bingaling23 so maybe it will be your lucky month too!
afm: my PIO and Estrace are really getting to me. I'm only 6dpo so the symptoms don't really mean anything but breakouts, exhaustion and nausea are making it really hard to work all day... and making it really hard not to get excited prematurely, since I know it's too early for those to mean anything other than my meds

I took another test this AM and there's still a faint line. It looks similar to yesterday's. I guess I have the worlds slowest metabolism!! And I'm feeling some AF-like cramps today so I'm not optimistic. If I weren't on progesterone, I'd be expecting AF Saturday or Sunday.

Although First Response hasn't released the sensitivity of their FRER tests, a med school laboratory conducted an experiment to determine the sensitivity of a variety of HPTs, including FRERs. The study found FRERs to have a sensitivity of 6.3 mIU/mL. As a comparision Wondfo HCG tests have a sensitivity of 25mIU/mL, per the Wondfo product website. The study is 10 years old, but I think it'd be safe to assume the FRER sensitivity is probably relatively the same. Here's a link to the abstract.

I took a test this past Monday (9dpo), and got a pretty clear positive so I knew the trigger was still there. Tuesday (10dpo) I thought I might have seen something, but threw out the test and figured there was nothing. Yesterday and today, I've gotten a faint line, about the same shade each day.
So that's my story.... like I said above, drama! Ha, I've been driving myself crazy this morning.

I'm really just at a loss at this point. Do I keep transferring my frosties? As Einstein says, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result! What's the point!? Just feel really defeated.
I know some may tell me to remain hopeful but I think we can all use our common sense and say today is a pretty accurate indication that this cycle (yet again) didn't work out for me.
