Same thing over @redheadbride15, it sucks! Dresses are really the only answer, sadly. Old navy has good deals all the time, I have 3 dresses and rotate
totally, @redheadbride15 . Mine sag all the time too, and take my underwear with them! Half the time, even if I can hitch them up, the undies get left behind and then THAT is uncomfortable. Until, that is, i can find a spot where I can (oh so subtly) stick my hands down my pants and pull up the undies. Blergh. I feel like I remember it getting better as I got bigger though.
Finally made this baby Facebook official with a picture of LO and this text:
Happy 2nd birthday to this guy! What a wonderful two years it has been. He's enjoying some gifts and breakfast out, but we had to let him know his best birthday gift is still being made: Baby #2 is expected in our home in early September. We are thrilled and we expect he will be too.
I'm actually adjusting a bit to the insomnia. Hopefully it will help me deal with nighttime feedings.

Ugh insomnia, it's the worst, and then your mind starts Rolling and it makes it all worse. I've had insominia for 20ish years, I will say it helps with having a newborn, ha:) and now I'm just up every 1-2 hours trying to get comfortable, ahhh the joys of pregnancy!
I do remember from last time that once baby arrived, I actually felt like I was getting great rest! I was managing actual stretches of sleep, even if they were short, and it was an awesome change from the insomnia. So that is totally a silver lining. Glad/sorry to know I'm not alone.
I totally agree @Sporty1216! I felt like I slept better after the baby last time! Not sure if that will hold true this time, but here's hoping! My pregsomnia is starting MUCH earlier though too. By 38 weeks, I may be a zombie.

Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
Condolences to all those experiencing pregsomnia! I have suffered from insomnia on and off for yearsand it is a bear. Oddly, though, I get some of my best sleep in pregnancy. I was not so lucky in the newborn phase! My charming pregnancy symptom of the week is nosebleeds.
I have pregaomnia at least 1x a week... it's better than the daily 1st-tri-somnia I had but still annoying. Never had insomnia until I was PG!
In other news the rhoid I have battled since my mid 20s that has hardly bothered me since being preggo came back with a VENGENCE yesterday as I was trying to fix something in the fridge. It was a real horror show. So much for all that advice I doled out earlier to you fellow rhoid sufferers! Looks like I'll need to invest heavily in the Anusol suppositories again.
My sister is a doctor, and when she was a resident, she got so few hours of sleep that she would doze off sitting up. She even did it in the lobby of a movie theater. (It was partly my fault because I was visiting while she was working nights.) I'm hoping when the baby comes, I'll fall asleep like that -- hard and fast. Quality rather than quantity.

Anyone else on a mobile app unable to make a new post? I'd happily start I cloth diaper thread as I've cloth diapered two kids from birth to potty training, and would love to talk names but every time I click on new discussion it sends me to an unrelated bump article on your pregnancy to do list @jilligan was having some mobile issues I think... No problems replying to existing threads though

I went through residency too so I understand this. Unfortunately quantity of sleep will always trump quality. The good news is if I survived residency I think I (and all of you!) can survive motherhood!

Conversation with my 3yr old student today at lunch. Him: do you have a son at home like me? Me: no, I don't have a son. Him: When are you going to have one? Me: Well...I don't know If I'll have a son one day. Him: You look a little pregnant. Me: *speechless*
Turns out he has a neighbor who is pregnant so I think it's been on his mind I was trying to figure out if/when/how to tell the parents of my students and this gave me the perfect excuse to tell one!
@redheadbride15 yes, more sleep is definitely better. I'm just hoping that given the limited time I'll have for sleep, that I'll zone out quickly, the way my sister did. Make the most of the short time I have.

@BernieRae that's hilarious! Kids are too honest. When I was in first trimester my skin broke out SO badly and I had a patient (who was like 5) point at my chin and ask "why is this so red?" Her mother was mortified, but I just laughed it off.

Soooo I got this little number in a swag bag at a baby expo today. I have the Fridet and a Nose Frida but this seems... I don't know... kind of wrong somehow. I was mainly just surprised to see this in a bag of coupons and free samples of baby lotion.
Yeah--I read about those, @lillebowski23 ... Not so sure myself... But at least you didn't have to pay for it AND you have it in your arsenal (hahahaha. i didn't mean to do that one!) if things get desperate.
Just found out my grandma died this morning. In a lot of ways it is a relief. She had been in pain for years. But I'm still sad. And I hate that I live half a country away from my family right now. Blergh.
I'm so sorry for your loss @Sporty1216. Even when it's expected and in some ways good, a death in the family is always hard. All my best wishes to you and your family right now.

@Sporty1216 I'm so sorry for your loss! My thoughts are with your family today. It's hard to loose people we love but even harder to watch them in pain in my experience. Sorry you can't be with them. Hugs!
Thanks, all. It's been a weird day so far. I feel sad but also disconnected. I'm sure I'll just keep processing over time. My dad isn't going to do any services and a ticket home would likely be about $1000+ at this point. It's also my very busiest time of year at work and we'd have to find someone to come stay to help DH with the kiddo. Unfortunately, I think all of those factors mean i'll stay here. Now, if anything changes and my dad needs me there, I'll be there! But for now, trying to just be okay with being there via Skype and stuff.
So sorry to hear it @Sporty1216. My grandparents died when I was 5, 9, 13 and 17. (The last one had Alzheimer's for many years, so we really lost her long before that.) I've always wished I could have known them as an adult. Particularly my mom's mom who died when I was 9. I'm glad you have so many years of memories with your grandmother. You'll always have those.

Thanks, guys. Really. It's been a day. Glad to be closing it out finally. Part of the difficulty is that this grandma was always a difficult person. We had great moments, but also some not great ones. And now it is final that that relationship won't ever be anything more. She was 91. I am super fortunate to have had her so long, even though the relationship wasn't awesome all the time. I have one grandma left now. She turned 94 in November. Totally grateful.
