I have been eating these almost every night as my go-to middle of the night munchies snack. I just now realized the mascot is a lion conductor. I want to know more about him. Is his orchestra all lions or are there other animals too? Are they primarily jungle animals or could farm animals join? I like the idea of a goat playing the french horn, but the hooves would present a problem. Also, the lion might eat him.
Most importantly, is being severely sleep deprived and a million months pregnant the same as being high as a kite? It feels very similar...
@doozer1345 thanks doozer, just feel dumb having these frets at this stage! I really appreciate your advice and time. Guess I just don't know who mommy me is yet?!
That's the fun part of this process No worries and don't feel dumb.

Don't know what thread this belongs in really, just hoping some other mommas to be feel the same.. So, budgets done, looking forward to being off work and baby but just suddenly fretting... coming up to 34 weeks and night times are just worries about finances, losing my identity - all the stuff that in the daytime we have figured out? hoping i am not alone in my new non rational bedtime pattern!! Just want to relax and enjoy the last bit -
@salbb I agree with @doozer1345. Not only is this normal, I'm pretty sure it's a rite of passage for new moms. I remember laying awake many a night with all the same fears. I'd be more surprised by someone who wasn't at least a little apprehensive, but I do know that laying awake at night thinking about it sucks that much worse!

I believe that the anxiety is part of the brain changes that happen during pregnancy to prepare us for taking care of a newborn that is completely dependent on us. I have been very anxious at night a few times throughout this pregnancy. Last night, I lay awake worrying about.....well I can't remember now
There will certainly be a few worries once LO is out, but I know for me, the pregnancy anxiety will be over! and that makes me happy.

@doozer1345@Bluejay3030@JennyS86 prmoise this is last one now before I get thrown off for being a threadAW! but I needed to say thanks for your support I was having a really rough morning and you have really helped. makes me sad I don't do social media for FB but hoping some people stick around here after babies for a while
My skin on the top of my bump is becoming very irritated. It looks completely normal, no redness at all, but it feels like a permanent sunburn. I've been using the same products consistently throughout pregnancy and life essentially, so I'm not sure what's causing this. I just chalk it up to another wonderful pregnancy symptom, but anyone else get this too?

I say this as I scratch my belly skin which feels like a permanent sunburn - ask your doctor if you're really concerned, but it's probably just your skin stretching as baby goes through a little growth spurt. Keep that belly skin lubricated, but some days it's just going to feel like that! That's been my experience, anyway.

I have this a little bit, but I just chalk it up to my skin stretching. I put coconut oil on it after I shower and I noticed if I forget to do that then it's worse.
The past 2 days I have gotten so uncomfortable sitting at work I have gone out for a quick drive in my car just to take advantage of the heated seats. Sorry not sorry.
I am currently sitting at my desk with a heating pad between my legs in hopes of getting this stupid ingrown hair bump to shrink. But, atleast I still have my bra on!!!! #winning
We are doing the hospital tour, and need to walk there. Its about 20 minutes from my office, and currently, I can barely walk because of ingrown hair bump (although it has shrunk from the size of Texas to that of Maryland). Gonna be a long night!
Ugh. Someone just came in and said there is an emergency helicopter in the middle of the main road we use to get home and it's been sitting there for the past 20 mins blocking all traffic. I just checked google maps and its going to take a good hour to get home apparently using the other way available. All the other routes I could find are pretty much the same. It normally takes 30 mins to get home.
My son was at my mom's while MH and I went to the Maundy Thursday Service of the Tannebrae at church. Since MH had to work a Meatloaf concert after and I had rehearsal for the Easter Cantata, I ended up just heading to my mom's to crash as well. So now I am snuggled up with my son in my childhood bed. Let's see how tonight goes!

Might not be it, but this is a spot that feels numb/burning anytime I'm not sitting up perfectly straight, because otherwise it pinched a nerve somewhere. Took me a while and some googling to figure out what was going on, because it really does have a strange burning sensation. Could that be what it is?
Now that I'm all caught up on this thread, I wanted to wish everyone a very safe few weeks left! I know I'm getting anxious and it's getting very hard to breathe when I lay down, so I'm hoping someone can relate? MH and I are moving into our new home and I haven't gotten the nursery ready yet so I'm starting to worry. The 3rd trimester tiredness is a killer though so I will see how much I get done. I certainly don't know when to stop even though I know I'm tired.
I'm in your boat. DH and I move into our new home this weekend (hopefully, it's already been delayed once) so we haven't started on our baby's room yet either!
Glad I am not alone @AdorkablePixie!! We just got some of our boxes moved over but there's still lots left to pack! I hope to get that done this week so we can officially be out of here and into our own space. The nursery will come along thereafter. Are you stressing out about it?
Oh yes, I am stressing. DH keeps telling me not to, but it's a little hard. How about you? How's everything going. I have the unrealistic expectation that we will both get everything moved to our house this weekend AND get it all unpacked and set up (aside from the baby's room).
@AdorkablePixie that is my unrealistic expectation as well. MH is getting the nursery items today (crib, bassinet, dresser etc) so I am happy it is getting done while I am packing the rest of our stuff. I don't like living in limbo (we are at my in laws until we move) and now I just want my own space.
@RSaini We are at my in laws right now too! I don't mind visiting them but it's a little overwhelming with our dogs and our cat here too. I think we will both be happy when we are settled in our house!
Funny enough @AdorkablePixie my mother in law got shingles so we moved out yesterday!! I told MH just bring my essentials but he brought over everything! I am over the moon about being in my own place!! I hope you don't have to live much longer at your in laws either!!
I was going to put something here, but I got distracted reading/skimming 302 new replies to the thread lol I can't remember what I was originally going to put lmao Stupid pregnancy brain! Our pit bull is sick. He is coughing and congested. Tonight DH said that the dog's nose was super runny. I tossed him the Nose Frida and asked him if he wanted to try that out on the dog. (Before someone flames me I was totally joking with him). He was like ummmm no and then threw it back across the room at me. We are taking him to the vet Saturday so hopefully he will feel better soon. So that is not what I was going to originally post, but hey at least it is random.
Don't want to make a new thread so here goes (TMI warning)
is it normal to have BMs 4-5 times a day?! I feel like I'm always gassy or need to number 2. I really don't want hemorrhoids
I'd say yes. I told my doc about this last week and he said everything is getting squashed in there so it's either going to make you go more or cut it off depending on LO's position. I have a lot of BM's with contractions/BH's.

Poor baby. i hope he feels better soon. I give my pups Benedryl whenever they get stuffy and it seems to help a lot.

Holy flashback! My Mom bought us Meatloaf tickets for my 8th grade graduation in 1994.
I'm stuck in a quote box when I'm not even quoting.
Does anyone watch Donnie Loves Jenny? I think that's what it's called. Donnie Walburg & Jenny McCarthy. My husband was watching it the other night and I have some comments...
I love that show
How does she change her hair from pink to blonde to pink so often? ? Also how could she go get a license with his last name on it if she didnt change her name with social security?
She wears wigs/extensions/temp hair color. I can't remember if I had to have my social sec number changed before I changed my DL. Maybe different states have different rules??
Maybe you're right. When I changed my name I had to change my social first, wait for that, then change my DL with my new social card and my marriage license. And then another 6 things to change my passport. My bank basically needed a blood sample before changing my name. Capital One, however, happily changed my name AND my address in the same call and mailed new cards to my house, same acct number with new name...to a new address...within 2 days. That made me feel really safe
I figured it had to be fake hair...her real hair would have fallen out of her head if she bleached it that often!!
@tgortney I have days like that. I will not go for a couple days and then when it finally decides to come, I go 4-5 times that day. For me, I think it is because I am on iron and that can block you up.
Got my Bellefit corset yesterday. My husband says, you're not going to try that on are you??? Ummm no pretty sure I'm not going to even try because I'm still pregnant!! Seriously men are so clueless sometimes! Made me laugh though
I guess DH finally actually looked at my belly this morning as I was getting ready. He stopped me and asked all panicky "omg, babe, that's not a belly button anymore! It's like a belly knob! Is that normal?!?" Can't decide if I'm amused or irritated. Not like this is our second kid or ya know, it's been like that for weeks.......
The walls of our townhouse are pretty thin- we can hear the neighbor's TV and alarm clock through them, and I'm sure they can hear us. Lately I've been watching a lot of birth videos online, and yesterday it dawned on me: with all of the moaning and shrieking in birth videos......our neighbors must think we watch a ton of porn.
Ugh... Nesting in full swing today and so tired now. Several loads of laundry done and cleaned the carpet in the living room. DH cleaned the office, finished repairing the walls in the nursery, ordered the replacement blinds, and is now about to paint the ceiling in there (the last people who lived here did a horrible job and I swear it's like 3 different colors).
No relaxing holiday in this house. Doesn't help that we only have 5 weekends left to get everything done around here.
My parents (also our landlords) are in another state so of course this is when the dryer both households share dies. Last time they went away for an extended period of time, our refrigerator died. Surely there is some kind of conspiracy going on here.
I got really excited that I saw two new notifications on the birth announcement thread ... Then to find one was someone commenting .... Fail . Why do people not read the directions and rules especially since it's a pinned thread .

My dryer just broke a day ago. My microwave broke this past week. I vote conspiracy.

You know, it's not that the cat now has cute little kittens of her own now, or that there are so many.
It's that she was full term already and no longer has to be pregnant.
I can't believe I'm jealous of a f***ing cat.
