Just want to send everyone happy vibes this month!!!! I go in for my progesterone blood work Thursday. I'm trying really hard this month to stay positive and calm. But I wish I could take a pill and sleep until the morning I can take a test... I seriously think the waiting and the unknown is the worst part of the entire process. How is everyone else doing and dealing with the waiting...
Well today I went in to check follicles size after taking Femara (today is CD12). I ended up getting a HCG (I think it's called) shot and will I have my iui on Thursday. How long after the shot did u go for iui? So confused on it as this is the first medicated cycle.

@larsonbussman that seems right. It is usually 24-36 hours after shot IUI is done. Are you doing dual IUIs or just the one on Thursday?

@Msbender129 -let me know if you find that pill. All of us would line up for it!!
So I got somewhat disappointing news today. It's CD 16 and I have 3 follicles measuring between 13-15mm. My doctor called and said my estrogen level appears to have stalled, which means my follicles need a boost. As such, he wants me to take letrozole 7.5mg for the next 3 days and then go in for us and bw on Friday. Has anyone else done letrozole in the middle of their cycle in addition to the beginning (I previously did 5mg CD 3-7)? Fx that I have good sized follicles on Friday and an IUI this weekend?!
Very first IUI this morning! DH had a great count- 57 mil. Acupuncture this afternoon. TWW...aaaaaannd go. GL to all of you Miss Octobers out there. Hopefully this thread will be full of BFPs in a few!
My husband is playing some Marvin Gay in the car as we are arriving at the RE for my part in the IUI. To get me in the mood...

@RMM1204 My first cycle was like that. I had 2 12's, they stalled and then the RE upped my letrozole. It resulted in an 18mm follie 3 days after the second dose of letrozole. It was on my right though and I think my right tube is blocked. Good luck to you!
@amos1417 - glad to know its not uncommon and that it helped increase your follicle size. My largest is around 15mm, so I am hoping that 3 days of letrozole will plump it up to closer to 20?! It's so baffling how one month your body reacts one way to meds, and the next month it does something else!
@RMM1204 - no, not uncommon on the first round. It's all about finding the right dosage for each person without over stimulating. Sounds like it could bump that little guy right up there for you! Yay!! I find it baffling that each cycle I start I have 7-10 follies on each ovary less than 10mm but I never have more than 1 good sized follie at the time of IUI. This was my first cycle of injectables and it still only produced one. I pray that I do not have to do another cycle, but if so, we will def add menopur next time to try to get the numbers up.
@babyexpress - I think we were on the same cycle last month too! This 2ww is going sooooo slow! How are you feeling?
I am going nuts!!! I'm only 8dpiui and I wanna know now! I haven't felt any implantation pangs yet, so... It's probably still floating somewhere. I tried coloring and Netflix to get my mind off, but it doesn't always work.
Does anyone else have a week (or around that) before they can test?
@amos1417 I'm 5DPO and everything is good. A lot of cramping this cycle and it really hasn't gone away yet. I've been interviewing for a new job, so my mind has been on that every day.

@BBJones0105 I'm 6dpiui and going nuts over here! I am holding out until 10dpiui to test though since I usually only have a 12 day LP. Best of luck to you during the TWW!

@erica0901 - 10dpiui sounds good. I'll do that, too. Lol. I believe that would make my testing day Friday or Saturday. I was also going to test today to see if the HSG is pit of my system as well.
Had my 2nd IUI this morning to a play list of Marvin Gay music, curtosey of my super straight laced, x-military, now lawyer husband. The nurses had a good laugh when he started playing it, he is a pretty serious guy. I really appreciated the humor since this IUI seemed much more uncomfortable than the last one.
I decided that we needed a pep talk this time, so during the wait after the IUI we had a bit of a pep ralley for my belly!
Now pineapple and a nap!
Good luck ladies, I am excited to hear all the BFPs.

That's great @babyexpress! Good luck! That's a great distraction We are going to my BIL's Army retirement party in MD this weekend and then my baby sister/BFF is coming back to NY with us for a week. I am stoked! I will be distracted while she is here, but so far I am driving myself crazy! I was extremely bloated and gassy 1-4dpiui but that's gone away. I feel a twinge here and there and I can't help but wonder!
So excited for all the recent IUI's! Seems like there were a lot of BFP's last month, can't wait for our turn!! Lots of sticky baby dust!!
Good luck to all, I believe October is a good month too! I will be going for my 4h IUI, 2nd resulted in very early miscarriage. So think of all those going soon! Hope everyone gets a positive result Ive never posted before now but been thru a lot so any support or questions Im here!
this will be my first IUI. I start Cholmid on the 4th and insemination about 10 days later... whenever i get a positive opk. I'm so nervous. AND Excited..... My TWW will be in november as well. Best wishes and luck to all who have or are going for treatment this month!
Ugh, I have had terrible cramping since my iui! I hope that means that something is trying to stick! I've been giving my uterus pep talks lol. My progesterone check is scheduled for Monday but beta isn't scheduled yet. I will not poas this time. I can't stand to see another blank testing staring at me.

Hi All! First IUI this month, looking at or around the 12th of October! Anyone else doing their IUI 'naturally' (no fertility meds)? I was previously on clomid and ovidrel (prescribed by my OBGYN- big mistake, should have gone to the RE first), but my RE said she would like to do the IUI without the use of fertility drugs help since I appear to be ovulating on my own and all of my other blue work and ultrasounds came back healthy.
My feeling exactly @lilmissslp !! Thats what I told myself too- no testing early! I'm so sick of stark white tests starring at me!! The make me so mad, and what a waste! Ugh! My doctor doesn't do a beta unless you get a BFP so I'll just want until I'm late!! Or at least the day they told me to test... :-S
@Msbender129 I think the stark white test is almost worse than AF showing up, and you're right...I don't need to wast my money on it. How far into your TTW are you?

There is a fun calculator you can use to determine implantation. It is most likely to occur about 9 days after ovulation, but can range between 6 to 12 days. Use this calculator to find the most likely date range for implantation based on your cycle:

Good luck to everyone! Fx, hope we get tons of BFP's this month. I met with my doctor today to go over next steps in case this iui cycle doesn't work. Looks like I'll be moving to IVF next month if I don't get my BFP next Wednesday. DH would rather have a 40-50% chance of conceiving than 18% with IUI.
I really hope I get my BFP this month. I'm really nervous about the egg retrival process.
@lilmissslp howdy!! Tomorrow will be day 5... I think I counted right- IUI was Saturday... Is that right? How about you? How is your cycle going what did you guys do this go around? How where your numbers?
@Msbender129 wahoo you're close to halfway through the TWW. This was our third IUI. I was on 50mg of clomid, tamoxifen, and did a trigger shot. My estradiol level was 1100 and I had 4 mature follicles. They didn't tell me the numbers but said my linning was great and the sperm count was great. How about you?

Good morning! Quick question, has anyone dealt with a higher level of prolactin? My doc decided to test mine again before this IUI. It was at 40, which is higher than they like to see. 25 or lower is what he prefers. He is messaged me yesterday evening about it, so now I am super confused and Dr Google did not help. This looks like something we should have addessed last winter when it was first tested (not as high as now, but still high). Thoughts?
