I've always had a super deep belly buttons...like a crater. It's almost completely flat now and the outsides are kind of starting to turn so it's just super amazing to me how much it's changed.
@SarahFoley725 do we have the same belly button? I've always had a super deep belly button too. I never thought it'd pop but recently I've checked and the top half of it is flat with my belly. I checked because it always used to leave this cave like indentation in fitted shirts and now it's not as sunk in. Lol
So my OB released me from bed rest on Tuesday (yay!). I kind of had to bully her into it. She wanted to wait another week... I was like, please lady, I've got to tell my work something, and you just said everything looks fine.
Anyhoo, so I've been back at work since Wednesday, and now I feel like I've been kicked in the vag and beaten in the back. I'm exhausted! Going from doing very little to full blown everything again (chasing toddler, full workload, house chores) has made me realize just how out of shape I am from bed rest. I told DH on my drive home how exhausted and achy I was feeling (it's all normal feels though), and of course he says, "Well don't overdue it." Me, "Ok, so could you skip crossfit tonight and help me with DS?" DH, "Haha, hem, eh, talk to you later."
I see just how seriously concerned you are about me, DH... lol men.
Yay for not being on bed rest anymore though, right @smushi ?
No outtie for me either...with DD it just went flat, looks like it's on the same track now.
Does anyone else's baby feel like they're trying to crawl their way out??? All the movement feels like it's all *right there*, right at my crotch, like baby is digging his way out of a cave.
Just the opposite here, I hate when things get left open. DH leaves the toilet lid (but not seat ) up, leaves shower curtains open after his shower, and sometimes won't get the door to our trash can shut all the way causing our whole apartment to stink. I grew up having to close doors and everything because of pets so that's what I like. And I just think the bathroom looks nicer when the shower curtain is closed rather than wide open.
I close the shower curtains once the shower has aired out a bit. It certainly looks nicer. I tuck the bottom of mine in, since we have a glorious claw-foot bathtub.
The squash my kid is supposedly equivalent to in size looks like a big, orange boob... Am I the only one who thinks so? Have I missed someone else pointing out the resemblance?

Right now mine is the size of a super phallic cucumber, or a motorcycle helmet. I feel like the comparisons were nice to know in the beginning blueberry, plum etc, but they honestly don't tell me anything now.

I'm really just freaked out that there's an "I've given birth" button now that I'm 34 weeks. It's making me feel like I'm completely unprepared and should at least go buy a car seat just in case.

Yes!! It's been freaking me out too even though I'm so impatient and want him here already! Crazy to think we'll be pushing that button in just a few weeks
We finally decided on a name for this little one, and I'm so pleased and relieved because it feels like it's one we both think is good (rather than just settling). Hooray!
@smushi Congrats! That must be so relieving. I'm just over 32 weeks, and "Little Sister" is all we have agreed on. Oh, dear...
My mom has been calling this one LB (little brother). It took a village to finally brainstorm a name we could both decide we liked. I think third party suggestions really helped us lol You guys will find just the perfect name!
my belly button was always flat/concave with my first two, and at the very end of my third it would peek out a teensy bit if i was in a certain position, but this time it has been slightly pokey since beginning of third tri, which makes me super happy bc i love pokey preggo belly buttons! i grin if i notice it through my shirt at all.

I always kinda smile to myself when it happens and I stop going: it's not like the babies are going to just fall out with warning while I'm peeing. But it sure does feel like it sometimes
Some of us check in from time to time. Not sure about anyone else but I'm getting miserable enough that I just don't post so often as almost every thing I say is just a big wine
Food for thought: tomorrow is February 1st- final month before our birth month! I personally feel I'll end up with a February baby but I don't care...The end is near!!! I canfinally see the light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Here's to another qbf...
I won't make it. I can feel it too. Seriously of I have to deal with this pelvic pain/pressure for another MONTH I'm going to lose my mind! But baby is already super low too- I think after this last shot I won't make it 2 weeks past that.

I have no idea what to expect. I don't know if the fact I had contractions already that had to be stopped mean she won't wait that long. My mom thinks my dates are wrong but I'm not too sure about that
