@kynbar5 hope the water does the trick. My lips are supper chapped so I should probably get to drinking some water myself... Just think of me as your drinking buddy... Here for moral support.

Lol well thanks! I usually really like water and drink a lot during the day. Right now, I'm sick of it. So you go ahead and drink my part. That will work right?! Haha

Home again home again jiggety jog! My d-dimer was a little elevated, but after some deliberation, he decided he wasn't concerned about a placental abruption and said I could go home to rest. Not bedrest or anything, but I have a free pass to not worry about carrying the laundry baskets back and forth or anything haha. And baby sounded great on the monitor!

I did not drink enough today either. I have had a mild headache all evening which I'm sure is from not enough water... And maybe the 2 Christmas concerts we put on at school today.
I have been chugging since I got home but all I really want is a hot tea. maybe once dh and I get some pictures on the walls (we moved last August and have yet to put up a single frame). I wouldn't be too worried about it except all of the pictures are blocking the baby stuff we need for the nursery and we need to move things out of the closet before we can move the random furniture out of the baby's room and paint. I want to have the nursery 90% done by the end of Christmas vacation.
Ok. Goodnight then! Haha. Really though, I've got to get my phone on the charger but I think I'm good for the night. The contractions are starting to taper off so I'm happy with that! Im sure I'll be up about 28 times tonight to pee thanks to all this h2o.

@kynbar5 I hope things settle down for you and everyone here. These babies need to simmer down meow.
I'm over my pity party my husband is really the sweetest man I know. He told me that he is so amazed by my body and the ability I have to make our child that it won't even phase him if I come out with stretch marks. He loves me no matter what unconditionally. Yeah for a terrific husband who loves me even when I ugly cry.

Aw that's awesome @bntfroggie what a sweetie! I've noticed a couple stretch marks under my boobs and DH has been very kind too, saying things like "it just means you're growing for the baby and keeping baby healthy." Very sweet! I was worried maybe he would be bothered but I can honestly say (so far) I'm feeling pretty unfazed by it!
@bntfroggie@ecwk I love the sweet men! I do not have elastic skin and I have lots of stretch marks already. DH is always so great about complimenting me and telling me how totally awesome it is I'm growing his baby. Gotta love them.
The only place I have noticed strechmarks so far is my belly button. It's so tiny and deep some days I invision it just ripping open because I don't know how much more it can stretch. I'm sure I will get more before it's over. I have strechmarks on my hips/butt from growing out during puberty.
So far I haven't gotten any stretchmarks on the bump, I don't think. Even with my last giant baby. But my boobs went from an A cup to an E cup when the milk came in, and HELLO stretchmark city! I'm actually kind of terrified to think about what they're going to look like when I'm finally done nursing for good.
Does anyone else feel like the baby is a crushing weight on their lungs? Like I've been having legitimate lightheadedness at times for days. This baby feels enormous. I look like a penguin already, I don't even want to know what I'm gonna look like the last couple weeks.
I've been tossing and turning maybe 20 mins or so, not too long, when out of nowhere DH flips over to face me, scoots over right behind me and wraps his arm around me, partially resting on my stomach. Now we like to cuddle but it gets too hot at night while we're sleeping, so this was a little weird and random, and the way he just quickly flipped over made it seem like something startled him almost. So I asked if everything was alright and his response..."yea, I just had a dream about our baby, I got to hold him". Cue tears...DH hasn't been distant throughout the pregnancy but he's been nowhere near as into it as I have since I'm the one carrying LO, so I just thought that was one of the sweetest comments ever at 4:30 in the morning.
Feeling better this morning. I'm thinking last night was Braxton hicks- it felt like a menstrual cramp that wavered in and out but the feeling just wouldn't go away for like 20 minutes, then when I laid down it took another 10 for the cramping to stop completely. This morning I felt it just once for a tiny bit and it's gone again. I think I definitely overdid it yesterday by being an emotional wreck most of the day then deciding to run around in the stores last night. I had planned on cleaning house today so I will probably rest most of the time and do little bits here and there because the house needs it. DH did all the dishes for me already so the most I have to do is put laundry away, and pick up our bedroom and clean off the dining room table (it's full of paperwork). Maybe I'll vacuum too. If I get over exerted I can always take a break.

ETA @kitteh81 maybe a little too personal so sorry if so but I am interested as a fellow (former?) small chested gal whether your boobs remained bigger than an A even after you were done BFing. I know everyone is different but I do wonder if my boobs will shrink back. (Love the grape gif btw lol)

Butting in to add my two cents: I didn't grow nearly that much while nursing. I went from an A to a nice full B. And right back to an A within a month of weaning! Boo.
Married 7.29.05 :: DD1 5.11.10 :: DD2 1.23.13 :: Baby Boy due 3.13.16!
You ladies and your sweet babies need to simmer down lol. No preemies allowed! Seriously though, I hope all these babies stay put until they are ready and the rest of your pregnancies are uneventful.
I didn't get any stretch marks last pregnancy, but I'm already covered in them from puberty anyway, so I guess more wouldn't bother me. I'm still hoping not to get any, though.
MIL and FIL just visited us for a week and left this morning. It was glorious. MIL loves to do dishes, breakfast was always made when we woke up, and DD was always entertained. It was especially helpful when they watched her for my appt, which I thought would be quick , but they sprung the glucose tolerance test on me -_-. They only gave me 2 minutes to chug it. Last time, I had 5 minutes. I seriously thought I was going to lose it.

I don't know what my rack's gonna look like after weaning, because I've been nursing pretty much non-stop since my first was born! I nursed her through my pregnancy with my second and then tandem nursed them both for a bit before weaning the oldest. Still nursing my toddler and will probably tandem nurse once the little guy arrives. I probably won't be done nursing for at least another two years or so!

Oh that really sucks I had 5 minutes and I used every bit of it. That stuff is awful. I'm in the same stretch mark boat. None on my stomach from my first pregnancy (my boobs didn't survive the nursing however) but I have some from growing tall during puberty, so I'm just biding my time...
So we just woke up, and DH got up and then got right back in bed. Which is never a good sign. And then I asked if he was okay and all he did was shake his head no. Also not a good sign. I think he's sick. Which means all he's gonna want to do today is lay in bed and let me take care of him, except that if I get what everyone has I can't take what they'd been taking to get over it. So, I guess it's either probably get sick or completely avoid DH when he turns into a giant 5 year old because he doesn't feel good. It'll probably be option 1. Oh wellllll.
Happy Saturday everybody! Less than a week till Christmas!
@skruhmin I watched White Christmas last night. Its one of my all time favorites.
Also I have to say I don't think I would have found this funny at all had I not read that thread. It's absolutely rediculous but the irony of seeing it just a few days after the "blow out" was too much for me.
@JLaVO888 this came up on my Facebook feed and DH and I watched it. We're very mature so obviously laughed a lot. It's not about farts but it's along those lines...
RE breastfeeding boobs: both pregnancies I went from an A to B and then to a small C when my milk came in. Went right back to an A when I weaned. I was kinda hoping I'd upgrade to a B after that lol.
Got my first twins comment today! My cousin is pregnant and due the week before me. Her grandpa (so my great uncle) was like wow you passed her up you must be having twins. Nope just carrying different thanks. Oh wellllll. She was a snowman and I was Santa so we were pretty cute.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far. We are headed out to my other side of the families for the rest of the weekend.
When you plan on having date night but instead get to be responsible and do things like early to bed for work the next day, after cleaning and dh fixes a dirt bike that his dad bought for one of the other grandkids for Christmas. Dh is like, well I guess we could order pizza as a treat. Yeah, but he will be outside working while I'm inside cleaning. Hopefully, we will finish up early enough to get in showers and spend some cuddle time at least before bed.
