I'm sorry your husband is having a hard time with the positive/negative... I can image that is really hard for him. He probably got so excited just to be bummed out.

I've had such a crappy morin so far and it's not even 8am I went back in for another u/s and blood work today. Not good news. When I left I was almost in tears. My lining was down to 6.33mm (from 7.34mm) and I think my follicles that were 10.8 and 11.1 last time shrunk. She didn't really measure anything. I'm so disappointed. Monday when I went in my estrogen was 168. Wednesday it was 48. I am wondering what it is today and how I can fix it. It's upsetting. I should have asked the doctor what could cause that. I guess I was too upset thoug and didn't even think about it. Now I am super bummed out and in a crappy mood while my cousin is here. At this point I feel like I am never going to get pregnant.

I feel like my response this cycle (femara, with now added Follistim) was very different...slower, less follies. But it ended up growing and all that. I would definitely ask what may possibly be going wrong. What's their plan for follow up?
BFN on a HPT this am..... Go for beta on Sunday. Why am I testing?!?! Lol. I'm just getting myself down.

@KidShrink, @mummysmomma, and @krbjoy I definitely need to remember to ask what could be causing it to go down when my nurse calls. I'm wondering if it's because I've been working out? Or if it's because I had alcohol Tuesday night? But I read that alcohol increases estrogen? *sigh* I almost called the doctors office and asked for the doctor but I'm sure he's busy so I wouldn't get a call back until way later anyway, so I guess I'll just wait for the nurse to call. I really thought since we increased my dosage from 75 to 112 we'd see improvement, but nope. It sounded like he is going to increase it again. If the nurse on Wednesday wouldnhaventold me what my estrogen was I could have asked her then! Yes, they will call me with the results this afternoon. I wish my nurse was in, she calls me sooner. She must be on vacation so I've been getting calls late in the afternoon. I told DH and he seemed pretty upset/worried about it too. This whole process is just one big disappointment after another,

@adorkablepixie don't lose hope I'm telling you this is exactly what was happening to me with menopur and my cycle. Until I was increased to 150 after 3 weeks, my follicles were all unmeasurable and my estrogen kept going up and down between 11 and 35. I think the appt before I triggered my estrogen was at about 190 and lining 8.4. It's the stupid hypothalamic amenorrhea! I think it's harder for us to get a response or something. I didn't think it was ever going to happen and then finally something clicked! Tomorrow will be 2 weeks post trigger shot...,I haven't tested at all yet I'm just too nervous to be let down. I honestly don't feel any different at all, no cramps, no spotting, no breast soreness, maybe just a little lower back pain but probably just from working out. I'm not being too optimistic so it'll be a great surprise if I get a BFP lol
@adorkablepixie I'm sorry! Sending you lots of hugs! Talk to your doctor, they should have explained it to you! I hate how ultrasound technicians can be so insensitive sometimes! I get that they see it all the time, but we don't, and we leave confused and sad. Maybe you just need to adjust your medicines!

@adorkablepixie That stinks..def ask a lot of questions when the nurse calls. Could it be because you didn't start at the beginning of a cycle? I know my estrogen on Monday was 35 and then on Wed was 51 and then yesterday was super high but that is because I am on estrogen pills that I take vaginally 2 times a day. Please keep us posted on what the nurse says when she calls
I was in for u/s and bloodwork today and I only have one good follie but it looks great at a little over 19 mm. I am going to trigger tonight and IUI on sunday..unless my lH is high showing I am ready to ovulate sooner, then the IUI would be tomorrow instead. We are supposed to be at my inlaws tonight so I am hoping for sunday IUI. She also said my lining looks great..it is 3 lines which is what they want to see and it has thickened up to over 7 mm and I am still taking estrogen to keep thickening it.
I am trying not to get my hopes up but I feel good about this month..I would have preferred 2-3 follicles but it only takes one so I will take it.
You guys are kind of lucky to be in 2ww now. I feel like I'm so far away from that still. My next appt isn't until Wednesday and I hope they can tell me to trigger that night.
@adorkablepixie it's ok to be upset, that's definitely disappointing and It is absolutely frustrating and anxiety inducing to have to wait for answers.

I psyched myself out yesterday thinking that the trigger might still be in (I triggered last Friday days post trigger and 7dpiu). I literally thought I might be positive- so I took an extra long shower- and went back and looked NEGATIVE! Grr.
@roosh1982: you're still super early. On the bright side, the trigger is out. Any positive from here is a real one (unlike my 8dpiui false positive)!
Continuation of my acupuncture saga: he's still saying 70% chance of being pregnant. My husband says he won't say any more because he doesn't have science to back himself up BUT, then he said, 'So on Monday, when she tells you if it's positive, ask her the number (hcg level), and call me'. I told him about my testing and he wasn't too proud of me and said I shouldn't test all weekend to make sure not to increase stress. Tbh, I think I'd stress me more not to.
I did 5 days of Letrozole at 5mg a day. Made a huge follie 2.7 and two smaller ones 1.7 1.4 on iui transfer date. I'm excited now it's my tww I do hope it worked. My partner was away so had to freeze and after freeze and thaw and wash 5.2 mil. Which isn't great, but doc said good for post thaw. Just need one good one right! Staying positive - the wait tho. I really believe the universe has my back and it will happen in good time. Hopefully this was the good time! Wishing all the August iui all the luck in the world !!!
@laur2444 hypothalamic amenorrhea is a b*tch! At least I know it's not just happening to me. When is your beta? I hope it's a BFP, I am keeping my fx for you,
@Colleen0516 my doctor was actually in the room when she did the u/s but I was so upset I didn't even think to ask anything other than about my estrogen levels. Silly me.

The nurse called and I asked her some questions. My estrogen was up to 68. She said they measured three follicles, one at 9.2, 9.6(or 9.8) and one at 11.8. I said so one shrunk and one grew and she said one didn't necessarily shrink that the sizes can depends on how it's laying and how the technician measures it. So at least one grew I guess. She said to keep taking 112iu of Menopur and I go back in Sunday for more monitoring. Fx that my levels and everything all go up more between now and then. I want to get this moving!

I have felt so weird this month. My stomach just doesn't feel right, weird pains and twinges, and I feel slightly nauseous. My entire body is achy all over. I can't sleep at night. I feel like I have the flu, but I don't. I don't know what to make of it. Beta is a week away and I refuse test early. I can bare a negative this month.

I hear all of you in the 2ww! Don't worry @Drove2u you will be here so soon, and we will all be there for you in the wait time! I have zero symptoms and refuse to test. We are going to Minnesota today to visit my husbands brothers and adorable Nieces..: so when we get back on weds... It'll be 14 days since trigger. I'm trying so hard, but I have gone pessimistic: it's a terrible way to cope- but I am just trying to protect myself!
@roosh1982 pretty similar story here. On the 2ww. I am having lesser symptoms than I had when I PMS when on Clomid. Beta is on 28th so have told myself that I will not test even though I have cheapies HPT. DH asked if I will be testing. I told him I did not want to stress myself.
I feel the same way! I woke up this morning 10dpiui with nothing. No symptoms at all! I only have until Monday for Beta this is more difficult than I thought.

@nprl my beta is the 28th too! I have random weird symptoms this month, but don't think it's preganancy sympotms. I refuse to test too (which is very unlike me)
@kidshrink we will see how long my willpower stays strong. Although, it's not really willpower- it's more fear of seeing another negative. I've already had one major melt down this month (without testing), so who knows what will happen if I test. Don't think my husband can handle it either. Negative= IVF So for now, I'm waiting, and dealing with the unknown achiness.

@Colleen0516 ; yeah, I had been able not to test on my previous cycles (except maybe the last medicated/no IUI one...I wanted it to work really bad as it otherwise meant going for surgery). I just felt too different (nauseous, pulling and other weird feelings around my uterus, as if AF was coming, but a full week early, and all through the beginning of this week, overall feeling better now). BFPs have gotten darker from yesterday to today so I'm assuming it's a sign things are progressing well (I can't even believe I'm typing this). DH refuses to say I might be pregnant until my beta on Monday! FX you get your BFP too and don't have to move to IVF!
@Drove2u we are in the same boat. I go in for ultrasound and hopefully trigger on Wednesday and IUI on Friday. Hoping I have better luck on the Letrozol and my follies mature. FX for you! I'll be thinking of you next week!

@Colleen0516 my doctor was actually in the room when she did the u/s but I was so upset I didn't even think to ask anything other than about my estrogen levels. Silly me.
@rachlee2010 that might be it. I have no idea. It's just so frustrating. Yay for having your IUI soon! That's exciting. I hope this one is the one for you. You deserve it. Fx!

The nurse called and I asked her some questions. My estrogen was up to 68. She said they measured three follicles, one at 9.2, 9.6(or 9.8) and one at 11.8. I said so one shrunk and one grew and she said one didn't necessarily shrink that the sizes can depends on how it's laying and how the technician measures it. So at least one grew I guess. She said to keep taking 112iu of Menopur and I go back in Sunday for more monitoring. Fx that my levels and everything all go up more between now and then. I want to get this moving!

9/15/2015: BFP HCG - 400, 9/17/2015: HCG - 827, 9/21/2015 - HCG 3,327!I have felt so weird this month. My stomach just doesn't feel right, weird pains and twinges, and I feel slightly nauseous. My entire body is achy all over. I can't sleep at night.
I feel like I have the flu, but I don't.
I don't know what to make of it. Beta is a week away and I refuse test early. I can bare a negative this month.

Found out I was positive for MTHFR Gene Mutation during TWW of IVF #4
I have random weird symptoms this month, but don't think it's preganancy sympotms. I refuse to test too (which is very unlike me)
@kidshrink we will see how long my willpower stays strong. Although, it's not really willpower- it's more fear of seeing another negative. I've already had one major melt down this month (without testing), so who knows what will happen if I test. Don't think my husband can handle it either.
Negative= IVF
So for now, I'm waiting, and dealing with the unknown achiness.
