I take LO to swim class and we got an underwater camera! I'm so excited. Actually got some decent pics. Plus a mom that also goes to the same baby story time as us also started baby swim. I'm enjoying getting to know other moms.
Me too. I spent way too much time lurking, I really should have joined in earlier. And when I joined in, I was afraid to jump into the original RTT because it was too fast-paced... No problem keeping up now!

I did a project for my boss and got it to him two weeks ago. His boss wanted it even sooner than that. Now she is sending nasty emails about why it is taking so long and the whole time it's been sitting with my boss, but I have no control over what he does with it. Frustrating to seem to be at blame. I won't throw him under the bus, but I can't help but hope that he lets his boss know I had it done pretty close to on time.... Thanks for letting me vent!
Thanks @mommyofmac I've been obsessively checking email and just saw that he sent the project along with no explanation whatsoever about the delay. I'm bummed that he didn't mention that it had been done, but oh well. I may still bring it up with him. This is why I always hated group work.
Well, LO didn't take a morning nap yesterday, and he's refusing it again today. Maybe we really are shifting to one nap. If we are, please, God, let it be a long one...
Got my car back today. It sucks, the fender is all messed up from the wheel turning totally sideways. But it is functional and this gives us a little longer to finish fixing my credit so we can eventually buy a better car!

My LO has also been refusing her morning nap at daycare- we shall see what she does this weekend!
Dh has a jeep and I HATE it. I don't have enough upper body strength to lift DD up and over the seats to get her in the back. We're going next week to trade it in. Can.not.wait.
Lol, its really obnoxious. Luckily I only have DD in the 2 door when I pick her up from my MIL's...so she comes out with me and holds the baby while I climb into the backseat and then she hands me DD lol. Its definitely a 2 person job!

DD was a month early and is 10 months old. She just cut her first tooth yesterday and a second is on its way! I thought she would was gonna still be a gummy smile for her first birthday.
More importantly and exciting DD has just started army crawling this week and has been doing so much better with her leg strength and standing up (assisted). I am so happy about this as she has been a few months behind in her leg development and muscle. We have been doing some at home PT with her and I am so relieved to see her making progress!
Could also use any T&P's as DH got some concerning news about a health issue today and we are waiting for an appointment with a specialist for more testing. Could be nothing but could also be something big and I am so stressed and scared waiting in limbo

It was a bust for us. He slept for 30 minutes and then woke screaming. And I managed to rock/nurse some sleep out of him for another 30 minutes, but it could be a long afternoon. I'd be curious to hear how things develop for you and your LO this weekend!

T&Ps for sure, @LolaX2. I hope you get an appointment with the specialist ASAP and that it turns out to be nothing. I know it's hard to have peace during the wait, but will pray for that for you and your DH.
Cars suck, so much money all the time! My old car kept breaking down all the time and I used to hope that a tree would fall on it just so we could get some cash and move on.

Because DH. and I both work mostly from home, we are seriously considering moving down to one car--something that will better suit our family needs--in order to reduce expenses, etc. It's a little scary and a little exciting...
BADASBKRCK Thanks! She has been rolling everyplace up until now...like she really has the roll down and goes pretty fast and can definitely get where she wants to go but I feel better knowing she is making progress
Sporty1216 and everyone else sending T&P's - Thanks so much. It is so hard to just wait and your mind wanders to bad places thinking the worst.
Cars do suck so much money and time! We had 2 older vehicles both paid off but were starting to have issues and cost too much money. We bit the bullet last summer when we found out I was PG again and bought a new Subaro Outback so we would have a reliable family car and hoped that our truck would last a few more years. Unfortunately while I was out on ML the truck just shit to bed and was not worth fixing. We tried going with just one vehicle for a while but it just wouldn't work. So we bought another new(used) car. No car payments to 2 while I was on leave = OUCH!

Yep.. my credit sucks right now because hospitals are total @$$holes about expecting payment when you are on maternity leave and making barely enough to survive... It doesn't help that I still have some stuff kicking around from when I was younger and totally irresponsible. But we are trying to fix my credit so we can get ourselves a good solid 10 year (at least) car without breaking the bank. I was really worried last weekend when all that crap with my car happened... I was afraid we would have to suck it up and get a crappy car from a "no credit, bad credit" dealer with a 20% interest rate. Luckily the bill was under $1000 so we can keep working on fixing things even if we have to eat PBJ sandwiches for the next year!

Hugs. Will they allow you to do some kind of payment plan?
They did, but the payment was still more than we could do while I was on maternity leave... It is resolved now though. Like an idiot I did not ask them to remove it from my credit report though and I just checked and saw it still under collections even though it now said paid. Sometimes Im just financially stupid

We just bought a house so we had to do the same thing. Trying to get some removed after it's been in collections is the most infuriating thing. And even if you pay it in full, it still affects your credit. Stupidest thing ever.
So right after I wrote that^ I had a moment of spontaneous responsibility and called the collections company to ask them to remove themselves from my report... and of course they closed 5 minutes ago. Aaargh!

Those of you with bad credit, pay off the stuff in collections, and get it removed. I had to help my H when we were trying to buy our house. His credit was so bad he was not eligible for bank loans (without a cosigner). After fixing the stuff in collections, it took only 3 months for his credit to get to a tolerable level. A year after that his credit score was over 700 (which all the banks I deal with consider great).
