Actually nursery progress made! The dresser STILL isn't quite done, but it is close. After two coats of primer and FIVE coats of paint, I'm over it. Thankfully DH is taking over and there are just touchups left! We also got our bikes out and I've packed up all the holiday gift wrap stuff to go back into the attic. Oh, and the curtains are hung! It makes it look like it is going to be a real room instead of just a place to store stuff!
I love all of these ideas! It makes me feel behind! The room is still a wreck but I made the letters and mobile and hung them. The picture makes it look like the mobile really blocks the letters, but it isn't so bad in person.
It's a work in progress. I never in a million years thought I would have a pink room! But here we are with all pink I just have lots of details to still do, everything else will be white and gold.
@Tacocatmom love this! This is my daughters color scheme as well and I too said "I will never have a pink room"..until my 4 year old picked the color *sigh* but it's actually more of a dusty rose and it's grown on me. I am having a heck of a time finding the perfect bedding for the color scheme though!
So after a sad pregnant lady email to the pottery barn, they told me they have a shipment of comforters and fitted sheets coming in on the 23rd I emailed back to find out if they will hold it for me to buy yay!!!
Crib mattress arrives today & I can't wait to put on the turquoise crib sheet I found -- it matches our fox art perfectly! (Our Keekaroo changer, however, totally clashes. Thank goodness it's across the room!) The real nursery is not photo ready, but I'll re-post our nursery idea board. The only different thing so far is that we got a 6-drawer dresser instead of a changing table.
Where did you get all the cute fox stuff? Our nursery is still set up like it was for my first son with baby animals & alphabet theme but thinking about changing it up.
This is what we have so far. We still need To put up some shelves and paint the furniture as well as re cover the glider and changing pad. It's coming along though.
I feel like I'm totally slacking! We've painted the walls a peach color, but honestly that's all I've gotten done. A lot of stuff I'm reusing from dd, I have light purple bedding with peach accents. And all the furniture is a natural finish. No real theme just more of a color scheme I guess.
Guise, the glider and dresser were ready same weekend! The dresser was my moms, then mine as a child. And now it will be yoda's . It's still missing hardware and the wax is still tacky so waiting to put baskets on top. Now if only the painter would come...

Ours is still a work in progress, but coming along! DH built the crib, and refinished the dresser and nightstand. We're waiting on our glider, which I think will make a HUGE change as it has a fun pattern on the fabric. We've got letters for his name, and some rustic large hooks to put up - but are getting there one step at a time!
Dresser is white and gray with white hardware looking at some lavender resin flower knobs or crystal knobs but haven't bought them yet.
Cribs on our registry are white too. Crib bedding will be polka dots and chevrons in gray and white, with lavender being the accent color and aiming for Owls, Elephants and some gaming nerd references in art etc.
Debating on doing a paper pom mobile in those colors in the corner over the crib or over the changing table dresser.
Still in search of a rug for the nursery husband really wants it to be purple/lavender and gliders/rockers we're looking at are white and gray.
I am loving all of these nurseries! We obvioulsly have a lot of crafty ladies in M15
I am SO bad- havent done a thing yet. . . we just found out for sure we are moving into a bigger place on Feb 1, so now I can actually begin the process.
We are doing an under the sea/mermaid theme for our daughter. My main colors are going to be teal and bubble gum pink with lighter accents of each color, and obviously. . . glitter! I am counting down the minutes here at work until I can leave and go to the craft store to buy some stuff so I can fire up my cricut for all of my ideas.
I'm in love with our nursery! My DH had the big Where the Wild Things Are print hanging in his room as a child and so we went with that theme. We ordered a few modern looking WTWTA prints from Etsy as well as the mobile. Everything else just falls into the color scheme, so hopefully the theme doesn't come off too overwhelming. ETA: Apparently my DH's stepmom didn't order the mobile from Etsy, she made it herself! I had it on our Amazon Universal registry from Etsy, but I guess she got the pattern and crafted it on her own---amazing!
@bmstee03
We have a pirate theme for my LO's room- we did porthole mirrors on the wall (DIY for super cheap) and shelves I made from stained wood and rope. I'll add pictures in a little bit! Hobby lobby has a ton of pirate/nautical theme things as well and you can shop online if you don't have one nearby.
Just spent over an hour positioning and putting up the letter wall. H painted the walls for my Christmas present and is installing a chair rail (something he's never done, so we'll see how that goes!) where the tan stripe is on the wall. He's been a pretty good sport about hanging things and being my own personal handyman so I can't complain. The crib will be here Tuesday and I cannot wait to get it set up! I didn't get to do a nursery until LO was a few months old since we moved so I am having a ton of fun putting together a nursery pre-baby!
No theme, just pink, gold and white. The crib wall will have gold polka dot decals on the top half and baby's name. I'll post pictures once we get all that done.
I'm loving seeing all the nurseries- they're adorable
Loving the pictures!! We aren't quite done yet. Still have some final touches and the giant solar system mobile to instal.
My mil's hoarding came into good use. We are giving the baby alot of H's old toys including a crap ton of Legos, and some supposedly expensive train sets, plus a tractor I am in love with.
This is just what I have set up on our book shelf. The abc learner is H's as well.
Ok, I am posting a few more pictures, but we are far from done. My recliner won't be in till next weekend, so the chair kind of represents where that will be. Plus we have pictures to hang and a massive solar system to hang.
My print came in! We got it matte laminated to protect it from the fact it will be hanging over the changing area, and will be mounting it to foam core. This was just the trial run, so it's just taped to the wall to get an idea for how it will look. But I wanted to share!
ETA: ignore the way it's not properly lined up. That will get fixed. It's ten seperate pieces.
Thanks everyone for sharing your beautiful nursery pics! You all have some amazing taste. My husband and I are huge procrastinators and your pics helped give me that last little bit of motivation needed to get started. We (and by we I mean he) started this morning and somehow managed to get the room painted and the baseboards replaced... While I read him posts from the pregnant fat shaming thread, he enjoyed that. lol We're team green so we're doing a travel theme. I bought a huge vintage map to hang over the crib. The walls are a soft neutral, "toasted almond." The crib is butter yellow and the rest of the furniture is maple. We scored on the paint and got it for $1!! The color we picked somehow managed to be already made that someone never picked up so they hooked up us! Our furniture came from Habitat for Humanity and the crib was fairly inexpensive. We've managed to only spend $300 so far... We're super cheap so this makes me happy. Haha can't wait to share pics when it's all put together. Fingers crossed that's next weekend. I get asked at least once a day of the nursery is ready, I can't wait until I can answer with a big fat YES!
We're still waiting on some of the furniture to be delivered & we need to pick up our crib... This is making me feel so behind! You guys are so creative, I love it!
See, it did it again! Unless my posts are showing up multiple times. So sorry guys! Anyhow- our nursery is still the guest room. I loved our sons bedding set so much that I'm reusing it for our daughter. The plan is to do a scatter wall with pretty black and cream frames- some empty, some with mirrors and some with pics of baby girl. I also have some beautiful sketches of Christ holding babies that I love that will be on her walls or on the dresser.
Finally got the painting done this weekend and the crib set up we are doing a nautical theme. Still a lot to be done but it's a start! Love everyone's nurseries, they all look great!
Finally finished painting the dresser from my childhood and loaded it up with some of the stuffed animals and all of the books my parents brought down! Animals include Max and three wild things from Where the Wild Things Are, Curious George, Babar and Clifford the Big Red Dog. My mom is a retired children's Librarian and these were part of her personal collection.
We also decided on a crib and changing table - classic white Jenny Lind. Baby will probably be here before the crib is, however.

Your curtains! I love them! Where did you get them?
Edit to add that I am in love with @janda426 's nursery and @thetoms curtains are from pottery barn kids. Love.
Here are the pictures. If they're huge, I'm sorry!

Not going to lie, I love old toys.
We have a lot more to do, but here's what we have so far...on the hunt for curtains and dresser/changing table.
