Yesterday I noticed some bright red blood in the toilet after a BM. No more spotting until later that night when I had some brown spotting after another BM. Brown spotting again this morning after a BM. Nothing since then, but it seems to only come out when I have a BM. Wondering if it's an irritatable cervix. I called my doctor yesterday after the red spotting and they ordered betas. Yesterday at 4w4d my HcG was 348 and progesterone was 12. I go in for a second draw on Friday.

I am 9 weeks tomorrow and this started with me today. Bright pink blood after a bm. Stopped immediately after. No cramps or pain. Sometimes after a bm I get a little brown discharge. The dr said just to take it easy and if it gets worse to come in. Said sometimes the cervix can bleed.

Thank you for this post I am currently 10 weeks along and just started having light cramping and light spotting, has me really worried because I miscarried last year and had same type of spotting. It is so hard not knowing but I am trying to stay positive, seeing your post has given me a little peace of mind!

I'm sorry you're dealing with that, @tntlove2012. Being pregnant after a loss is scary enough without the added stress of spotting. Hopefully it's nothing, but if I were you, I'd call your OB on Monday to let him/her know.

I've been watching this thread and hesitating to post an update... particularly because i didn't want to jinx myself. But here we are again. After 3 weeks of no spotting I thought I was out of the woods. My pregnancy seemed to be going beautiful after the 2 weeks of spotting. And ofc tonight I'm super crampy and just knew when I checked there would be spotting. Of course there is. I just feel so defeated, I had let my guard down. Let the excitement come.... and now this again. I just want to ball up and cry.

Hi @laxdixdar, I'm 9w5d, and it started up again after a week of being blood-free. Mine in tapering off again. I was also crushed when I discovered the return. If you can though, try not to best yourself up. Getting excited didn't cause it. And getting excited won't jinx you. When is your next appointment? Hugs, and fingers crossed for you!

Thank you @BethKate2‌ seeing this thread has helped ease the anxiety I contacted my midwife when it started and she is going to order me an ultrasound for Monday

@ShellyR‌ Thanks. I actually feel better already. I just laid down with my doppler determined to find the heartbeat and did!! I needed that little reassurance. I just had an ultrasound Tuesday and my next ultrasound is Jan 15th. Thank gosh for home dopplers or I'd be hysterical.

Thinking about all of you ladies.

Today was day 2 with no spotting. My positive brain says yay but my PGAL brain says calm before the storm . Trying to stay positive .

Last night I read through every post in this thread hoping to give me some piece of mind.

Yesterday morning I awoke to some light brown discharge on my underwear. Tried to not think much of it. But then last night, there were some brown spots after I wiped when I went to the bathroom. This morning I had a lot more brown after I wiped.

I emailed my RE last night and I already have an appt set for Tuesday where I'll be 6w2d. It will be hard waiting even though it's only 2 days from now.

Why did the bleeding have to start yesterday (5w6d)? PgAL brain does not like that day since that is when growth stopped for my mmc in 2013.

Not sure if I have a question. I know brown blood can be ok. Guess only time will tell.

I'm 8 wks 6 dys and had bleeding on NYE. I didn't have any cramping at all but I felt like it was too much since a liner was completely filled. When I went to the restroom there was also a small clot. It stopped Thursday but returned Friday right before my first OB appointment. They sent me straight to the ER and I started to cry. After what seemed like the longest day ever I was diagnosed with a sch and told to rest and no strenuous activity. I have to follow up tomorrow but baby is measuring 8 wks 6 dys and heart was 173 bmp.

Things have gotten much worse for me. And I'm gonna guess this will probably be my last post. I've been bleeding. Not spotting. Bleeding for a few days now. There have been clots and cramping too. I probably should have went to the ER the first night, but I didn't. I'm going to my appointment on Tuesday. I fully expect them to say I've miscarried. So sad that my first pregnancy had to be like this. But maybe it's for the better. I wish a miricale could happen...

I'm so sorry. My first pregnancy wasn't successful and I know the hurt and grief that accompanies it. I'm gonna keep my FX for a miracle for you and that this was just some weird circumstance. But feel free to reach out for support if you need some. Ts&Ps with you!
