Have any of you considered that there are a lot of first time mums out there who aren't sure when that stuff is supposed to happen.. I'm 10 weeks as I've had people ask me if I'm showing or just gaining weight. Instead of negative sarcastic posts why not something informative kind and supportive for those of us still learbing? I read this post and it out me off this forum because you honestly made me feel like an idiot. Everyone's an expert right? So for all you second third fourth time mums being snarky perhaps remember how excited lost and overwhelmed you were for baby no. 1 and offer support instead of making first timers feel even more out of the loop.. Piece of my mind from a 20 year old first time mum.
---------------------------- Hey, Vicky! Read the whole thread. Nobody is saying FTMs shouldn't have these questions.
We're saying that #1 the search function works and should be used #2 science is a real thing. You can ask a question and get a legitimate and logical answer, but if you still insist on living ignorantly (but I MUST be showing my pants are soooo tight) then we can't help you.

Um a lot of the ladies posting are FTMs sorry it made you feel dumb. We are actually very supportive! I hope you find other forums more to your liking, though many are snarky!:)
I said a bump, bump, bumpity bump. A bump bump bumpity bump!
Me: 30; DH: 32
Married since 3/15/08.
Pregnancy 1: BFP on 1/24/11 - Molly born on 10/6/11!
Pregnancy 2: BFP on 11/5/14 - Baby #2 due on 7/17/15!
In between pregnancies, I've grown to love my "other" baby. The "carb baby", that's taken permanent residence in my belly, thanks to my overzealous love of bread, pasta and pastries. Hence my name.

FTM here, 10 wks, and I'm so over the bloat! I hate that I just look fat at this point! Got married almost 4 months ago and I feel like most people are thinking.... oh she's married now, now she's letting herself go!
Bump? Yep, I have a bump sometimes more bumpy than other times which is probably more bloating than bump. At 12 weeks things are shifting around in there and perhaps that's why I am starting to notice this bumpiness. Peanut plus amniotic fluids plus placenta plus gas plus more gas and maybe food equals bump. Either way I don't fit in my old pants.

What was the point of pulling this thread back from the grave? At 12 weeks your ute is over the public bone, so you may notice it...this is why we let the thread die haha
I'm 12 weeks and I'm really really showing. The bump is above my pelvis now. I also felt my first bump/ flutter in my lower pelvis more than a few times. Not kicks, but the baby is moving around and bumping in there. It's too low for gas. I was shocked when I felt it at 12 weeks, even more shocked to really feel my uterus above me pelvis now. :-) I have a fibroid so maybe that pushed mine up earlier.
Re: Letting it die.... PSA: YOU ARE NOT SHOWING
