I just tried to bake some pears for DD to eat as a finger food. I spent a lot of time running over to check on them since cook times online ranged from 10 to 40 mins. In the end, I never found the magical texture I was looking for (does it even exist??) DD ate the tiniest of pieces that I gave her then turned her nose up at the larger pieces except the one she let me put in her mouth. That was followed by many weird faces from DD and me panicking that she was going to choke. I didn't enjoy that experience. I have zero recollection of introducing table food to DS. I have no idea what a I did. How is that possible?
We're having some ice cream. It's got a weird, icy texture. Not a fan.
DH texted me about 16 times while I was doing choir rehearsal tonight. Does LO need a hat? Does LO need a sweatshirt? Which does LO get first -- cereal or puree? Can LO sit in restaurant high chair? and on and on. #defaultparentprobz
ZOMG, @Mevaroo led me to the Amazon deals, and this is there, and it's so like the one of my childhood. I, I don't need this, right? But really -- I want it SO much!
GODDAMMIT DOG WHY MUST YOU GO ON A BARKING FRENZY THE EXACT MOMEMT I AM LAYING DOWN A SLEEPING BABY IN HER CRIB (
Lovetit for commiseration. Except sub in cats that sound like elephants.
+1 on the ele-cat Every time we're nearly comatose he jingles the damn bell on his collar!!!!! I'd take bell off, but he's an inside/outside cat and the birds need an alarm!
No time to catch up on this thread... But I wanted to jump in and day we had a bumch of pictures taken today, and DD would NOT smile! The photographer ended up getting 'good enough' pictures (well, that's how she referred to them-I thought they were still cute). During this, DD decided she didn't need to hold on to anything anymore-she could stand by herself! And the photographer got it, too... It was pretty cool. She fell asleep on our way home, and we put her in bed (fully clothed) when we got home. She is still asleep. Maybe she will sleep all night. We are going to bed... POTY!

Oh Shit. I didn't know about lightening deals before. They never worked for me in Canada. Except that one time I bought the giant giraffe for $16. I've always regretted not buying the giant elephant too
@JoyBaby5 and @utpony I didn't click the link, but I love Despicable Me... (MH preordered 2 for me for Christmas last year.) When we were at Children's Hospital a couple weeks ago for overnight observation, they came around and asked if DD wanted a stuffed animal. I picked it out for her, and got a Despicable Me unicorn!!
Thanks @shellbell3845 Didn't mean to post this on Wednesday randoms. What's up with that? I got the 50% off toy the other day late in the evening so i guess not always a scam..
