@mahalo3, I'm imaging it's a nice name that no one ever really feels strongly enough about to hate for some reason.

My mom is the same way. I told her that DH and I finally had one name that we both thought was ok (Duncan) and she spent a week telling me how terrible it is and complaining to family about it. I mentioned it as a middle name since it's a single name we both like and told her it more than likely wouldn't be used. I still hear about it every once in a blue moon and that was last month.

I also like that the meaning to the name Amanda is "must be loved".... because we really must love that kid for all the trouble she causes (she's our resident drama queen).

@aggiebug‌ some ladie I used to work with didnt find out she was pregnant until like 32 weeks. They told her it was a girl and they were wrong. It was a boy!

@bhjones1980‌ Hope surgery goes well tonight!

@boxerrrmama85‌ My pit has hypothyroidism and needs to be on meds twice a day for the rest of his life. Hopefully everything is ok and im glad he's home!

So I had another "episode" of the strange feeling in my stomach while I was picking my 17 month old up. It feels like a kick yet it has a slight sharp pain when it happens. Plus there is NO WAY it's even possible that it was a kick. Anyone have the same thing happen?

Yup pretty sure it was gas.

To continue our hospital saga.... Surgery now pushed back to 9:30pm start time.... This is getting old fast

ugh naming children is so hard. You should have asked you sister how she even knew that porn star existed. If you like that name go for it. I don't see anything wrong with Annabel. My problem with any names is I instantly connect them with tv and movie characters.

One of my nieces is named Salem. When I was told I instantly thought of the cat on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

So no maternity clothes for me this month

I have $500 crown bill coming up and DH is now cutting his wisdom teeth. Ones popped through and the other is almost all the way out. Man is 27 and is just not getting wisdom teeth.

To top that off I have my monthly OBGYN bill of $280.

So no fast food or baby shopping this month. Actually no shopping of any kind this month. And I was looking forward to Halloween shopping Being a grown up sucks.

@aggiebug‌ there's no way it's gas. I realize from the post that it sounds like that's what it could be. But it's a completely different feeling than gas pains.

So to try to get me out of this depressed feeling I'm on pinterest pinning a million positive quotes. i use to do something similar to motivate me to exercise. Maybe this will help.

Wow, everyone. I will not complain about my day, since so many people are having bigger issues than I am at the moment.

I will give you an eye-roll snippet from my day:

A female coworker asked me if our work group could help pick a name for my baby.

She was serious.

I said "No, it's going to be a private decision between my husband and I." She's lucky that was the only thing I said.... in what world would someone want their coworkers to help them name their baby?!?!? Not for me, anyway.

I actually had a decent conversation with both my sisters.  They both came to me for advice.  The joys of being the oldest.  I miss them and cannot wait to see them.
