Hugs to all who need or want them.

I've got to drop $350 on my bike to get it all serviced, but I expected this since I've been lazy and hadn't taken it in for 8 months.  And I got a car quote today.  I could be on the road before my mom gets here in a couple weeks, but we'd have to move some money around.  Otherwise, I have to finish painting so that I can put my upstairs back together.

@mahalo3‌ definitely suggest a foam roller! You can find them on Amazon for around $40, maybe even cheaper.

@jaztastic that really sucks!  I am in the passive aggressive camp with my MIL as well, but I have sure wanted to punch her sometimes.  

Like others have said, the past is the past and what you do from here on out is all you can control.

@jaztastic‌ so sorry you had such a rough weekend. Sounds awful Hopefully your MIL realizes that obviously she has hit a nerve with you and accepts your gestures/apologies. I hope this is something you all can work through and get back on the right foot!

Yesterday DH and I spent the day out and about- decided to do a run through at Babies R Us and Target to look at stuff prior to registering here in a few weeks. Talk about overwhelming and defeating! So many decisions to make, especially for a FTM. I feel like I have not a single clue what I need or what I'm doing. Geeesshhhhhh.

Also, the stupid lady that was supposed to do my assessment NEVER SHOWED UP. I waited an hour, called and left a message, emailed, etc. Still haven't heard back. I know it is going to be something stupid like she forgot because of the holiday and I am the one that will have to be super nice and all diplomatic about it, but I am super pissed  >:P  I was really stressing about this all weekend and did a lot of prep work and basically cleared most of my day for nothing. And now I have to do it all again - and the earliest would be next week. If I can get a hold of her. GRRRR

The incident on Sunday was a big deal but not a big deal... I think that my response was basically the past 8.5 yrs of crap finally exploding. Once DH and I got serious about our relationship everything changed, from the way she treats me to the way she treats him. He is able to over look a lot because thats his mom, while I cant. 

For the sake of my kid, I feel like I need to make it right.

@maddscientist good luck today! You will do awesome.  Just remember they aren't really critiquing YOU just making sure the animals are taken care of.  You will be fine!

@boxermama85 I am sorry that is incredibly scary.  There are several issues that boxers specifically can get that can cause tachycardia.  It sounds like your primary vet is headed in the right direction with blood work and rads.   I would seriously consider a referral to a cardiologist unless something is glaringly obvious on the tests, they do echocardiograms and ECGs for a living and will be able to give you a much more precise diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan and with the heart that is a BIG deal.  

So DH just texted me said a friend from HS posted pictures of their new baby today. The kicker is they had no clue she was pregnant.  I know there is the show, but this is the closest I have ever been to knowing someone who really had no clue they were pregnant.   I seriously can't imagine!

@ChickenonSunday - I was at our Destination Maternity yesterday and fell in love with so much Pea in the Pod stuff.  I refuse to buy it just b/c I think their pricing is ridiculous, but it's SO dang pretty.  I was totally jealous of this girl I saw buying an armful of their beautiful dresses.

 I did find a couple of wonderful long-sleeved t-shirts on the other side of the store at the Motherhood Maternity sale racks!  They are super soft, long, with a pretty button detail at the shoulder and they had gorgeous colors!  Oh, and they were on sale for $9.99!  I had to buy 2.

@Jaztastic this right here is exactly what you need to say to her.  Tell her you don't appreciate the way that things have been over the years and for dolce's sake you want to make the relationship between all of you better.  Put the ball in her court.  If she doesn't want to then you know you tried and it was her choice not to have a good relationship with her grandson.

Thanks everyone for your love. Congo is back home after a heavy dose of tranquilizers. His heart rate is normal but his X-rays showed that he has an enlarged heart. He is now on a hefty dose of medication for his heart. We are still waiting on one more blood test to come back for a parasite called Chagas. It may be a stretch... But anything to help my baby. It could also very well be that he has a genetic heart abnormality in which case he will be on (expensive) meds for the rest of his life-- not sure how that would impact the quality of his life-- but am not ready for that discussion just yet. My heart is breaking over his poor heart. He is only about 3yrs old and I have fallen in love fast with this little terror. Thanks again for all your good vibes.

@boxerrrmama85‌ so glad he is home. I think I remembered reading something about an enlarged heart being common in boxers. Something about the depth of their chests, etc. still sending good vibes your way!

@jaztastic - I feel like several of the things you've said here are exactly what you should say to her.  While punching her may have been out of line, it sounds like she has years of stepping over the line that led up to your reaction.  Telling her you want to work it out for the sake of your child and that you apologize for hitting her, but not for reacting to her being rude for years.  I'm sorry you're going through this.

I'm officially crying over a stroller.  I found one about 5 hours away from me in the town where my grandmother lives.  It is in excellent shape for a great price and I've been texting with the owner.  NOW I just need to snag a friend to get get it from her for me so that I don't lost my place in line!

I FEEL YOU!! I have a constant headache that I cannot get rid of. And it huuuuurts. I've tried all of the above as well. Light, sounds, movement...they all contribute to the pain. I go to sleep with it and wake up with it.

If you happen to find the magical cure for this, please share. As of right now, i'm clueless on what else to do. I just want some relief.

I think I broke my son... (lol not really) he refuses to eat store brand puffs. He will only eat the organic superfood puffs now (right now purple carrot and blueberry..but he also LOVES the kale ones)

Also, I am eating tater tots for lunch. That is all lol

@CrazyCornball‌ I bet a lot of it is dehydration since you weren't up to drinking much on Saturday and you need extra fluids when you have a fever. I would drink fluids until you can't stand it with and without electrolytes and avoid caffeine. Caffeine always makes my dehydration headaches worse.

@kefttsc‌ Good idea on the stroller being an inline for when the twins are smaller. I didn't get a side-by-side until the girls were almost a year old. My one darling would sometimes have to be worn during walks when the girls were really young, so the inline worked well. Hope you got the stroller!! I snagged a Jogger off CL for $150. It's in great shape but can be a PIA to turn sometimes plus the brake doesn't work (we just turn the front wheels so it won't roll). Oh well can't beat the price! Hoping to find another great bargain when it's time to get a triple-wide!
