Good morning ladies!  

I'm SO excited that I found a City Select Double stroller on craigslist!  I have texted the person so crossing my fingers I hear back from her!!!! I kinda feel bad that I texted her at 7:15 AM, but not really all that bad.  I have lost about 6 strollers on CL by not responding fast enough......

These City Select Doubles are hard to come by!!!!!

That's awesome Chicken!  I got a few bags of stuff from friends, but found most of it to not work for me due to the seasons.  I found a LOT of good deals at a consignment store yesterday.  My favorite was a great pair of full panel corduroy pants for everyday.

I was just researching the city select vs the city mini, etc. We have a singleton & it is likely to be an only child, so I'm leaning more towards the mini right now.
My random, it's only 8am, but I work nights &all I want right now is a giant Potbelly sandwich with lots of hot peppers.
Also, DH & I love fall/Halloween. We are decorating the inside of our house tomorrow. Can't wait!

Thats awesome chicken! Maternity clothes are so expensive. The crap I bought at ross barely fits. I want to say the dryer shrunk the clothes but I dont think I can get away with that.

I have. terrible pain in my side and Im dizzy. Im going home screw work today.

I researched both and found that for twins, I preferred the front/back double instead of side by side.  I like the City Select because it can be a single OR double.  If we need it to be a single when DH is with me or I'm wearing one twin, that will be a nice feature.  Or if one is fussy in the stroller in general, we can always use it as a single.  Everyone has different needs!

Huh. I just saw Angelina Jolie's wedding dress. I'm not a fan. 

I took today off, SO excited! Heading into the city to see DH's promotion ceremony, errands and crafting all day, and 14w appt this afternoon! Yayyyyy

Chicken that is BEAUTIFUL.  Even without a toddler in the house, it costs more than our stroller.....

We leave our dogs in the car often, but we have two remote keys so the car is running the whole time.  We have had people threaten to break the windows (in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 60 degree cloudy weather...crazy yoopers!!) until I returned and they realized that the car was running and more climate controlled than they imagined.  Our dogs are also crated in the car for their safety and the safety of any morons who WOULD break the windows.  If they did.....they'd have four PISSED OFF dogs on top of them....nobody messes with their mommy's car. (Luckily, we knew the cop in the UP and he laughed when he got the call about us....)

Good luck! If it doesn't work, we found the 2013 version on Amazon for $100 less, and BBB price matched it even though they knew it was the wrong year. We tried to find something on CL too but didn't have any luck.

@kkleigh10 There are a lot of different opinions on this, but I'd recommend calling the cops before breaking windows if the situations shows again.  In many states, no matter the circumstances, you can be in trouble for breaking the window AND if the dog is aggressive you are screwed!  

I'm glad someone else was paying him attention!

We are at the beach! We came down to the Outer Banks for our yearly anniversary trip and it's beautiful.  I think Team Green is going out the window, though, because it's supposed to rain tomorrow and DH wants to get an elective ultrasound

I am back from my out-of-town weekend (which was great !)- and just in time for a very big day at work. My surgical skills are being assessed by the vets that are in charge of making sure the research animals are being treated humanely and ethically and that I am complying with all the necessary regulations. I am sooo nervous. I hate when people stand over my shoulders and watch me work especially when they are actually judging me. And, I don't have the steadiest hands when nervous - which isn't good when doing surgery on a mouse.  Anyway, wish me luck! If this goes well I might tell my boss (that I'm pregnant) afterwards too. Ack.

Seems like a few of us are telling our bosses we're pregnant this week. I'm on my boss' calendar for Thursday (he's too over-scheduled for a drop-in visit ... eek, just thinking about it makes me nervous).

I forced myself to walk to work this morning despite the heat instead of taking the bus. I regretted it when I stepped in some gum and it ended up on my heel (I'm wearing sandals). Yuck. People, garbage cans were created for a reason. I'm trying to not let this (plus being late) color my day.

Am I the only one that loved it? I think it was so cute and personal. Thought she looked gorgeous in it and was a wonderful idea.

So excited DH and I went to the outlets this weekend.  I was able to buy the diaper bag that I have wanted for years (even before a baby was in the picture).  Got the kate spade diaper bag that sells for $420 for $141.  So stocked.  Still think $141 was a bit much but I just couldn't walk away from the deal.  My BFF has the same bag and she uses it as a gym bag 7 years later.

Calling all vets/vet techs/ boxer owners: Currently at the vet with my big guy. We went to friends last night and the dogs were having a grand ol' time. When we got home, he was still panting and out of breath and his heart was beating extremely fast. We went to bed, I checked on him an hour later and still no change. He wasn't wiggling for me or anything. We took him to animal emergency and the ONLY thing that the vet could tell us or do for my guy was to tell us that he has tachycardia (increased heart rate). NO SHIT! ER vet said they didn't have the meds that he may need to stabilize him and that I needed to take him to a heart specialist, if he made it. $135 dollars later and no sleep, I'm at his regular vet waiting for bloodwork, an x-Ray, and some meds to hopefully stabilize him and bring his heartrate down. My heart is aching for him and I feel so helpless.

So  my sciatic nerve is totally flaring. I have had this in the past to the point it's debilitating and I cannot move. Right now, it's just sore, but I am so afraid of it getting worse. I know it's caused by the baby and/or uterus pressuring my nerve. Do I make an appointment with the ob/gyn or the general practitioner?

I thought I was done with vomiting, until this morning.  The kind of vomiting that breaks blood vessels in your face and leaves you only wanting to press your face against the cold tile floor and stay there.  Yet, I'm at work.  I can't seem to focus today.  We should find out the results of our Harmony test any day now.  The waiting is killing me!

A consignment maternity shop just opened in my town and I went to check it out the other day and was sadly disappointed. I got a pair of pants and 2 shorts but everything was overpriced for being used. I think I'm just going to live in maternity tanks and tshirts that I had from my summer pregnancy with oversized sweaters.

Random: While at my parents house yesterday Adeline found a baby doll and a fake bottle with milk. She carried the baby doll around hugging and kissing it and "feeding" it milk. She is very sweet with other babies and tried to feed her cousin (who is 2 weeks older than her) and it always makes me tear up thinking about how good she is going to be with her brother!

At what point should I be worried about a sore neck, it is KILLING me!  It has been like this (maybe getting a little worse) for about 2 weeks, and I am constantly trying to stretch it, get the crick out, rubbing the back of it for relief.

Dr. Google has convinced me I have Listeria or Bacterial Menegitis... my DH is sick of hearing about it.

I broke out my snoogle this weekend and that is helping my morning back pain but not the neck.

I just got a fancy new pillow a few months ago which has been great, so I hestitate to think all of a sudden it is causing me issues.

I'm back. Sorry for abandoning you. The potato is dealing with some past trauma that is surfacing again. And and old friend of mine pulled some really ridiculous stupid crap that really hurt my feelings.  I'm still not back on social media.

Rest assured it wasn't anything that happened here. I just didn't want my mood to spill over here because you guys are awesome.

Sooo... I did something pretty bad, and have felt like shit ever since. Ive been really busy most of the weekend and havent gotten a chance to tell you about it. 

I dont want to hash it out all the details, I already feel like crap, but I just thought my "attitude" (although online and you may not be able to tell) should be explained. I really just dont feel like being happy Jaz right now. Part of me is still pretty pissed off. 

Long story short, I got into a fight with my MIL on Sunday. Not just words, but I punched her in the face. She really is a nasty lady, and says things she has no business saying. But fighting, and especially while pregnant is just so not cool. I feel horrible and dont even know how to fix it. DH isnt as upset with me anymore. He's more annoyed at both of us. I cant believe myself. I really do feel ashamed, and called to apologize yesterday, and Im considering sending a flower arrangement to her job. 

I was just at a breaking point and was so tired of her crap, its not acceptable... but neither are my actions. Okay thats all.

Holy Jaz! I am sooo sorry it had to get to that point with the 2 of you.  The fact that you feel this bad though shows what a good person you are.  Sometimes we get pushed to our breaking points.  You are in a vulnerable state right now being pregnant as well.  None of these are excuses, but you're heartfelt regret should go a long way.  I hope it all works out for you guys in the end.  Maybe now she'll get the picture though.

I know you don't want to hash it out and that you're regretful, but you say that you're still pretty pissed. So, lots of emotions to work through, understandably. Just remember we're here to listen if you decide you do need to work through it all, okay?

Last weeks appointment with the doctor went well. I told him about the headaches I have been having and he is sending me to a neurologist later this week. I really think he is overreacting and the neurologist will be laughing behind my back, but I am still gonna go. Guess it can't hurt. I just need some relief.

And hopefully just 2 more weeks till my A/S. I am dying to know the sex!
