@jaztastic - Not gonna lie, I'd like to trade places you with you. Just for that one second. My MIL is nuts. But seriously, I think you are on the right track when it comes to showing her you are sorry. It's gotta be weighing heavy on you. You'll do the right thing.

@boxerrrmama85 - I'm glad your fur baby is home and it's good thing you caught this before it was too late! How scary.

@bhjones1980 - Good luck to you and your mom tonight!!! I hope the outcome is good news! Thinking about you.

I GOT IT!!!!!  She is holding it for me until next Thursday which is amazing.  She and I texted for a few hours....fingers crossed that she sticks to her word!!!

I found out over the weekend that now BOTH of DHs best friend's wives are now pregnant as well. Lol I am kinda excited about this.. It's pretty crazy we'll all have kids in the same grade at school.

I'm used to when I was pregnant with DS being the lone weird pregnant one.. lol it's odd having friends to be pregnant with this time.

@mandamoochie that is happening to us as well!  DH's friend's wife is about three weeks behind me an then another one of his work friends is about 6 weeks pregnant.  What's funny is that they are both coming to ME for advice! LOL!  Little to know that I don't have a dern clue!

I'm 35, so most of my friends are done, so this was a shock!!

I think if DH get paid today I need to buy clothes. The cheap shirts I bought dont fit like i said earlier. I was sitting here thinking and I remembered how ar DD bday someone said to me "dont you think its time to buy maternity clothes". the shirt i was wearing was maternity.

Seems like a bad day for the F15 ladies out there.  Hope everyone has a better afternoon. 

I was a total cliche last night.  Had a brownie craving.  Totally went to the store and bought a mix.  I ate like 4 brownies from it.  And god help me.. if DH ate the rest when he got home from a night shift.. I will possibly murder him.

Hugs for all of F15! I hate that everyone is having a rough time.

Here's some randomness: yesterday my mom hinted at throwing me a baby shower despite being asked and told not to repeatedly. I think it's more of a grandma shower for her than a baby shower for me. I want and need for nothing. Seriously, this kid only needs a crib. I'm getting a double stiller, a new baby monitor and a new highchair by choice but that's everything I could possibly need. I hope she had fun at her party that's being done in my name. [-(

Also, I had a crazy dream about DH last night. I woke up mad at him for being such a freaking tease.

How does the phone recognize stiller over stroller? Is the galaxy S5 made for alcoholics? This is not the first time is changed normal words to alcohol relayed words. You know, maybe these are Freudian type slips since it's been so long without a beer.

So I just had a very odd experience checking out at the grocery store.

To start, the man in front of me had eight bags of sugar and 1 bag of shredded cheese- after everything was run-up he decided he didn't want the eight bags of sugar…so they put his 1 bag of shredded cheese into a grocery bag.

By this time I had unloaded my whole cart onto the belt so was just standing with an empty cart.

The guy takes my cart puts his bag with one bag of shredded cheese in it and starts to walk away- he caught me staring at him incredulously said "what?" I said "Well...that's my cart?!" At which point he took his bag while muttering under his breath I needed to learn to share and stomped away. Huh?!

Yesterday morning I came home from my swim, threw my goggles and swimming gear into a bucket I always keep in the bathtub. Then DH came in and said, oh I didn't know you use that bucket. I suspected he did something to the bucket so I asked, yeah, what about the bucket? He said he just unclogged a toilet last night and used it to clean the plunger. I lost it immediately and threw my swimsuit and googles into the trash.  Cried loudly and hit DH for pooing up my hand-wash bucket. I even ended up on the floor in fetal position crying about my poo swimsuit.

Now I'm shopping for a new suit and goggles while at work...

It sounds like everyone had a rough weekend! @jaztastic, you should talk to MIL and tell her all the things you said here. One Easter, my best friend had a screaming match with her MIL, called her a bitch, kicked her out of their house. Their relationship is still not good because no apologized and there was no discussion or resolution. I think humbling apologizing for your actions will help a lot, but still address her issues. 

@boxerrrmama85 I hope you dog gets better!

Oh, and in other news, it looks like things are pretty normal for my NT results.  Had a measurement of 1.3mm on the fold, with a crown to rump of 5.6cm.  My midwife said those are good results... still going for the second half of the blood work this week.

And we officially have our A/S booked for September 30th.  I'm so excited to see baby Monster Truck.  Or his/her cross sections.  And maybe find out what sex we're having......

@CrazyCornball Have you tried drinking sports drinks?  When we've been sick, I always buy Gatorade or Powerade because the electrolytes help, especially if it was a barfy/poop-attack sickness.  It's usually DH that catches things like that (I'll give the kids pedialyte), and I just pump him full of those until a few days after the sickness is gone.

I am just waiting for the call to schedule my A/S. It should be around Sept 18, but I want an offical date. Doc says they call to set up appointment about 2 weeks prior. That would be now people!

@crazycornball  It really depends but I agree with TGP get some electrolytes too.  Gatorade and powerade are high in sugar but they work well in these situations because they do have electrolytes too.

Today is probably shot, but hopefully your rehydration will help you tomorrow.

@CrazyCornball, my OB said 3 liters so roughly 101 ozs.  BUT, I've had ongoing migraines throughout this pregnancy and I've drank his 3 liters many times and it hasn't helped.  He also said he could tell I wasn't dehydrated, so I was kinda annoyed I even tried.  I'm chalking mine up to hormones.  I'm prone to them before my period, so I think it makes sense.

Wow and I was gonna post about my crappy day back to work (teacher) and bitch about how many students they are shoving in my tiny classroom... But honestly it doesn't seem so bad now that I have read everyone else's! I say yes, we needed hugs!

I decided I wouldn't tell anyone the name we picked out. We still haven't officially picked a name. I guess in passing I must have told my mom the name we will most likely pick, before we knew if it is a boy or girl. She, of course, hates it and has said that on numerous occasions now. I texted my aunts and uncles, with her, to tell everyone we are having a girl. So my mom decides to list all these names that start with K (her name, mine and my sister's names all start with K) because the baby's name HAS to start with K. So she adds, "anything but _____". So, in the mass to text to my whole freaking family, I say you are going to feel really bad for being so negative about that name when that could very well end up being her name." 

So now I am super annoyed because I didn't realize I told her any names. I did not want any opinions for this very reason. Now my whole family knows she hates the name that will most likely be our kid's name. I wish she would just keep her opinions to herself. I thought it would be my MIL who would be like this, not my mom.

They booked me so late this time. I was in at 18 weeks with my first!

@miniwheat10 - they won't book at our imaging centre prior to 19 weeks (they usually say 19-21 weeks is the optimal window).  So I'm booked in for 19w5d.

@crazycornball - I emailed my doctor today because I can't get a handle on the headaches. The triage nurse emailed me back and said to eat snacks every couple of hours to keep your blood sugar from dropping and drink lots o water. Which I've already been doing both. Plus taking the tylenol, drinking gatorade and even drinking a soda.

She's going to have the doctor contact me tomorrow and hope that we can figure something out. The headaches are close to debilitating at this point. If I get any news or anything i'll be sure to let you know. I hope you feel better.

@mahalo3 that sucks.  We didn't tell anyone what we were naming Amanda... and apparently MIL STILL doesn't like the name (she told DH this because she knew better than to say it to my face).  Who gives snide remarks after the baby is born???

We were originally going to use Adelaide for Amanda (Adelaide was our "backup" name for Marnie), but she threw a fit when I said I wanted to use a) the German spelling, Adelheide and b) the NN Heidi.

When we were still in decision mode, she wanted us to name her Mikayla (or Michaela??)... despite the fact that DH's name is Michael, and she would have a cousin named Kayla.  8-|

With both our daughters she wanted us to use Lacey or Molly.  Sigh.  She's lucky she had all boys (DH and his two brothers have excellent names), because her taste in girls' names rival those of a classless teenage girl.

I fully anticipate another round of suggesting the above two, and hating anything I have to suggest.  It's so tiring.....

My mom feels like hell, she hasn't eaten in over 36 hours.

My sister asked me what I'd name my baby, so I told her I'd like to name my baby Annabel if it's a girl.  My sister then told me there's this crazy porn woman called Annabel Chong.  DH's last name starts with Ch also, that's a shit name. Jesus, every name is tainted by someone somewhere, I'm sure. I didn't ask her for her opinion and she should have kept her shit opinion to herself.  Now I'm pissed and stuffing my face with the cream puffs I made over the weekend.
