Water table indoors + tarp to protect floor + 17 month old = EPIC FAIL
I can see where you were going with that activity. And to be honest, on a day I'm really desperate, despite reading that it was a fail, I may bust it out anyways.
Water play indoors = a moment of peace on rainy days.
cwbandthenewbie Ehhh.... it was really bad. We have hardwood but it's older and I laid down the tarp because water would seep into the hairline gaps between the planks and totally screw the floor. First, she gets so excited by the thing she flings cups of water several feet (negating the tarp protection) and dumps it on me and her, turning us into a mother/daughter wet t-shirt contest. Then, of course there's still water also all over the tarp, which turns it into a big ass slip and slide. Which as she goes around the table causes her to bust her butt (and almost her head) several times while I'm trying to get the water on the floor up with paper towels.. So about 10 minutes in I finally call it quits and grab her to go change before she splits her head, which of course makes her really mad because she was having so much fun and so now I've got a screaming pissed off toddler. Yep.
A friend recommended putting mini balls like they have for home ball pits in the table instead of water, I may try that next time, or maybe get the ball pit. They are kinda reasonable on Amazon.
I feel completely terrible today. My head hurts, nausea is coming and going, and I've been able to eat practically nothing. Seriously all I've had is half a bagel, 2 bites of my Philly cheesesteak, and 2 fries. I don't think I've gained a pound yet this pregnancy (I may have lost weight) and I'm starting to get concerned
However, I saw that pic of the pan of brownies and now I feel like I must make them when I get home from work. I don't care how crappy I feel.
Thus, my body hates me and wants nothing healthy or least bit healthy but is dying for sweets. That's totally acceptable right?
I'm sorry you're feeling miserable have them brownies, gurrrl! And save some for me since @bostonalison is mean and didn't deliver me any of hers last night...
Hi ladies, way too many pages to catch up on but I'm alive. Survived Colorado but this week is cray so I'll be around intermittently over the next week or so.

Just to AW myself for a minute... I heard the baby's heartbeat on my Doppler!! Took me 3 days and I figured it might take a bit since I have a backwards uterus, but I did it!!
Also football ladies, I just got an email from motherhood they're doing a nfl maternity line and doing bumpbucks too! I'm off to start my first maternity clothes order. I can't fit into any pants and I'm really tired of spandex and sweats.
So my friend is moving in a few weeks and has offered me a bunch of hand-me-down baby stuff, including a crib and a chair. Big stuff. My pgal brain says no way should I take it this early. But it's free and if I don't take it she will sell everything. Do I take the stuff now or wait and end up buying new stuff?
Take the stuff.. definitely. If the worst case happens, pay it forward or hang on to it until next time.
@chrain ((hugs)) I'm glad you got to your Dr. Hopefully you will start to feel better soon. I know work is at the back of your mind, but try to take care of yourself first.
My ass just keeps getting wider because I lay down a lot. I'm so tired, have headaches and just feel lazy - I can feel my ass getting bigger and bigger. lol Can't wait to start feeling better to get my butt moving....

My good day continues! Baby still has a healthy heartbeat "in the 160s" which she was able to just barely pick up on the Doppler. Hopefully that means I'll be able to get it myself soon.
Yay @SNLT1012 !! I just got back from the museum with E and now we are at Gymboree sitting in the parking lot because I feel too tired to do Gymboree! Good thing my mom is in the way! Mimi to the rescue. Pregnant lady needs to have a seat for a minute.
Oh, I am still on pelvic rest though, which means I need to figure out how to give a bj without puking tonight. I was really hoping to avoid putting anything near my throat.

Sorry you're still on pelvic rest. Booo
Good luck with the not puking. Maybe just a lot of licking and shallow nibbles or finish off with the other "bj" if your boobs aren't too sore?

We always used those non-toxic water bead things that they use in planters. Let them soak in water for a while and they are fun for water play, and if they do happen to spill out and you don't get to them, they dehydrate into tiny sand-sized pellets.
@createmagic14 OMG, you may just save my life this semester. She LOVES science and math which, I LOVE but, I don't think she's feeling very confidant about this science fair project. I asked her to talk to her teacher about it but, she says he's mean. I need to sit down with her and see where she's struggling. Thank you, though and I'll be sure to hit you up if I need some ideas!
@jenny0314 No problem! I'll send you some great websites and resources when I get back into my classroom and can access them on my desktop. Here's a good start for writing the report: https://sciencewriter.cast.org/welcome

@SNLT1012 glad you are having such a wonderful day! @katydid2014 sending you positive vibes for a good appointment tomorrow.
I had a little bit of pink spotting after working out this afternoon and I'm trying not to freak out, but well I kinda am. No cramping and it seems to have stopped now but I just can't shake the bad feeling I have. I go for an u/s in the morning as a follow up from my visit last week as my dates were a little off and they want to check growth.
