@busterrose are you going to the itty bitty little head, in the top right corner and clicking on preferences and then, signature settings? and, it's still not taking?
I am going into "My Account" "Change my avatar" and then pasting the code at the bottom in "My Forums Signature" Clearly that's the wrong place? (duh) I don't see a little head or preferences but I will look again.

OK, now I see. It was my stupid out of date browser. I will update it now. Thank you all for helping.

I'm a teenage boy. I can't stop laughing at "itty bitty little head."
GUISE!!!!!! I got an email asking me to do a video interview!!!!!
This isn't that big of a deal...except I haven't had any contact from a potential employer in a couple of weeks, so it IS a big deal to me!
I'm going to record it tonight once E is in bed so that she doesn't get...involved. Please FX for me!! I'm so nervous but hopeful! I mean, something has to happen for me soon, right?

When you go into signature settings, you'll click on the little picture frame (if you hover over, it will say Insert Image) and paste the code in there. At least, I think that's how I did it. Took me forever to figure out, too.
It couldn't be any less intuitive. Why have a place in your avatar settings to put your signature in if that doesn't even work? And that little person icon? It's only visible on a small number of pages. I guess they don't care about usability testing.

I just canceled my dentist appointment. I still can't brush the back of my mouth without gagging, which often leads to throwing up, so I'm thinking having someone digging around back there wouldn't work. It was only to get my teeth cleaned, so I'll just wait a few weeks. The hygienist should be glad I cancelled so she doesn't get barfed on.
@chrain, I'm glad to hear you got in touch with your doctor and hope that things continue to improve for you. I'm so sorry you are having a rough recovery.
Big hugs, @chrain. I hope the bleeding and cramping eases up soon. Screw vacuuming, they probably won't notice anyways. Work can wait. Take it easy and take care of yourself.
I wish I could do more to cheer you up but.... here's my favorite kitten gif?
My fears are gone! Saw that beautiful heartbeat and little arms and legs growing! SO had tears coming down his face but held it together lol. It was such a sweet moment. They measured baby and the due date is April 1st, but could I pleeeease stay here? I kinda like you guise... ;;)
One thing that broke my heart and kind of ruined the day was we took the u/s pics to SO's mom who we've been waiting to tell and she was less than thrilled. She was almost upset about it. Then after talking a bit she said shit like "I guess this is good news.. Congrats.." I just now stopped crying after that. I'm at work and had to pull myself together. And I just told work too which they were thrilled.
Anyways I'm just glad I finally saw our little gummy bear and that heart beating away.
Thank you @Darbie914. She was shocked and I'm hoping she'll come around, I mean she did say she wanted grand babies she just thought it would be years down the road. But SO just texted me and said his dad is thrilled so that's good.
@SNLT1012 - congrats and can't wait to see wedding pics!
Best wishes to everyone on their appointments and job interviews and vacations and all the good stuff that's going on!
@cwbandthenewbie (and @darbie914 since you asked) - WTF is up with these doctors? This is the second time I've heard this in the past couple days. Setting an arbitrary weight gain as a requirement for VBAC is COMPLETE AND TOTAL BULLSHIT and you should find a new doctor. End of story. Beware of docs who claim to be VBAC friendly and then have so many random rules that will force you into a RCS. And again, how much weight you gain has nothing to do with your baby's weight. I gained 32 lbs and had a 6lb baby. My friend gained 60 lbs and had a 7lb baby.
I've found vbacfacts.com to be a great reference, especially in the interview questions article which helped me find a doctor that is truly VBAC supportive.
"In short, VBAC is a “safe and appropriate choice for most women” with one prior cesarean and for “some women” with two prior cesareans. Being pregnant with twins, going over 40 weeks, having an unknown or low vertical scar, or suspecting a “big baby” should not prevent a woman from planning a VBAC (ACOG, 2010)."
@SNLT1012 so glad to hear your day is going so great!! Hope it only gets better and better!!
@mandjs have a blast in Vegas!! I'm so jealous, I lived there for a little while and pretty much ate my way through the town, some of the best food ever!! If you need any suggestions let me know!!
@chrain I'm sorry you're having such a rough recovery. I really hope you start feeling better very very soon!!
It's been off and on storming here all day. My dog is tripping on the thunder and is going between running to the windows to bark at it and hiding under the blankets next to me.
I love grease! It was our homecoming theme one year for high school. SO, our friends, and I dressed up with pink jackets and black leather, I evened wore pleather spandex when it wasn't huge like now haha!
