My mom is taking me for a night away at a fancy hotel. Hanging at the pool, shopping, eating delicious food, some drinks and best of all sleeping in tomorrow. I hate to leave LO while he has a yeast infection but DH can handle it! I'm so excited

I just need to stick this shame/brag here. I got up to do my long run (14 miles) at 5:45 this morning. I nursed Lo, got ready and went out the door at 6:15. I leave, It was drizzling. Ugh. I look at my phone and it's 90% chance of rain for the next 5 hours. I put my phone in a sandwich bag and grab keys to my inlaws in case I need to go use their treadmill. I was determined to make this work! I start on my loop and it thankfully it stops raining, but I had picked a pond to run around and August+6:30am+just rained+pond= mosquito massacre. Then I start to feel my stomach get rumbly. I have a bad stomach for long distance so I know I am going to need to use a bathroom. I'm two miles out so I decide to go two miles back to my house, use the bathroom and then run a different 10 mile loop. This is already a running hell. I run/walk home so I don't lose it. I get all the way to my basement bathroom and I can't get my short string undone and yep, I fucking shit myself. DH has said if I ever poop myself running I have lost. In general. Doesn't matter if I won the race, I have lost at life. It's almost a laughable moment how pathetic I was trying to get my shorts off. So here's the disgusting brag part. I clean myself up (everything but the shame. That is permanent) and go run 10 more
goddamn miles. I am beat now but so happy I did it. Everything but the crapping my pants that is.

All of this shoe size talk just had me look at what size ds2's wearing. We just brought the boys yesterday for new shoes- it is ds2's first pair of shoes! (dh was tending to ds2 while I was watching ds1 so I wasn't paying attention when he was measured) He's wearing a size 7w in saucony sneakers. Ds1 has huge feet too and both are very tall so I really am not too surprised.

About a week or two. It was rough, but there is a light at the end! Hang in there! E would actually fall asleep in a bent over sitting position, it was so pitiful. I would have to sneak in and lay her down after she fell asleep that way. Her gross motor skills have always been a bit later than others.

@heelibrarian‌ stairs are my sworn enemy right now. I'm honestly thinking of making grilled cheese for dinner because the chicken is in the basement and I can't handle another trip. That, and well, I have a cheese problem.

Just did back to school clothes shopping for my DD since it's a tax free weekend. Afterwards we walked around bass pro for a bit. Going out to a nice dinner with the family tonight. I would say out last full day with hubby/daddie home has been/will be a great one! Hate that tom night though we will be saying goodbye

We went to the ped yesterday and the NP gave him antibiotics for some fluid that was threatening to turn into an ear infection. Normally I would've held onto the prescription until he really started running a fever, etc. but the threat of an ear infection developing en route seemed way worse.
