The paperwork they gave me did specify midnight fit solids and 4am for fluids... So that might just be a rough guideline depending on the exact surgery time, you think?

Yeah they said they usually suggest 4 hours before the time in which they tell you to come in (2 hours early), but since Ty is 8 months they let me do 4 hours before the actual surgery. The explanation was that when they are knocked out they can't cough to clear their throat if anything builds up.

Fwiw Ty did wonderfully with everything and is recovering like a champ. I'm sure Gus will do the same!!

That's how this one works too, though the way the woman was talking times and such it sounded like it'd be a bit later... Not sure. He's also third as things stood at the time. :-)

Those ladies are bitches. One asked if I wanted a minister to visit us and if we would accept a blood transfusion if needed. Fuck you lady this is a routine procedure!! (I know it's their job to ask these questions, but geesh man)
