My bellybutton is such a black hole that when I wear right shirts there is very obviously a gaping hole in the middle of my stomach. I'm beginning to think it would be less odd if my bellybutton popped @-)

THIS! I had a deep belly button to begin with but the ever expanding bump is making it a very noticeable cavernous hole.

Despite the fact that my bump turned out to just be a poop baby once again, for the last two days I've been getting these crazy jolty kicks from LO that actually cause my body to lurch a little each time.  I think she's trying to kick out some more real estate for herself in there, which is totally understandable.  There is a baby pushing 3 pounds and 16" long in there and I just look like I ate a large burrito!

SAME. This happens to me and I feel like it looks silly. It makes my belly button look MASSIVELY huge compared to what it actually is though.

As for toes, I stopped being able to bend that far without serious grunting a month ago. @Jp27 The pedi people don't care what our feet look like... UGLY/GROSS = MORE $$

I just found out that a friend of mine, who lost her first child at birth and has struggled to get pregnant since losing him a year and a half ago, is pregnant again! No one deserves a child more than her and her husband.

I have to do wellness coaching because my cholesterol is too high. They are making me do stress management because I can't do the weight loss or healthy eating one because I'm pregnant.

Anyways, I had homework to do like breathing exercises and I didn't do that, so I'm preparing myself to get ready to lie to this woman when she calls me here in a few minutes. This is causing me stress (having to figure out how I can spin this to her and pretend like I did what I was asked). So this whole program is pointless but I want my $$$ towards my HRA.

My dog, who used to be my snuggle-buddy, now only wants to hang with DH. Like, totally ignores me, but gets all excited when he walks in the room. I'm not sure how to process this.

My sister works for a veterinary organization and says there is some research out there that shows dogs can sense hormone changes in their pregnant owners and it can cause them to act out sometimes. My dog has started occasionally going through our dirty clothes and throwing them all over the bedroom and my sister hypothesized that he's pissed off that I'm pregnant. Not sure how much truth there is to all that, but it could explain the change in your dog. Maybe you don't "smell" as familiar anymore?

I've heard this and my dog Rocky Top is crazy about inside babies. He loves them, although he loved DD more than this one. When I was pregnant with DD he would howl if DH would keep him away from the belly and me. He's always thought DD was his baby.

@tundrabunny‌ I was wondering if that was a thing! He's definitely side-eyed the belly when she gives him a good kick, so I didn't know if he just thought I was hosting a parasite, or if it was something more like a smell. DH just says they're BFFs now, and girls aren't allowed in their club.

Sigh, my boy is sick had to pick him up early from school because he vomited everywhere and has a fever. These are the hardest moments of mommyhood because he's laid all over me all pitiful and sick and I can't make it go away with a kiss and a hug.

My mom's 50th birthday is Friday & we're surprising her with a trip to Nashville (where I am). My aunt is flying in from Colorado & my sister is driving up from Memphis. I am responsible for making dinner reservations & I can't decide where to go ( I should have finalized these plans a week ago but kept forgetting X_X

Here is my southern food review...Carolina bbq, yes please. Biscuits and gravy, yes but I feel like I ate a brick. Grits, not a fan (they remind me of steel cut oatmeal!). Collard greens, could be good but they make them too damn salty. Pralines...holy fuckballs how have I never had them before?!?!? We leave Friday, anything else I need to try?
