My first pregnancy I had an nst at 40 or. 41 weeks. Someone told me to have something sugary, so I got a frozen lemonade from mcdonalds right before baby was going NUTS.

My water broke on Monday, had my baby girl on Tuesday and ordered pancakes with extra syrup for breakfast. My good eating habits paid off. You can do this and that first non GD meal was the best ever!!!

I totally did the EXACT same thing. Baby girl born tue morning at 5:51, pancakes with syrup at like 8 oh and cake, and dr pepper. Nothing has ever tasted so good. You got this ladies!
We went out for dinner last night and I had some of my husbands beer, more of my daughters fries thank should have, and heavily breaded chicken fingers. I expected to be high but was 117. Not exactly abnormally low, but much lower than expected!

Nicccccce . I'm making a bunch of hard boiled eggs to get me through the rest of the week or so. I've also been getting those little individual serving size ice creams. They're perfect for an evening snack wirh some nuts or something.

I'm still here! Sorry, I've been MIA for the past week as SO has had his son visiting for spring break.
As a cabooser, I feel like I'll be the last one standing
I am doing my best, but will admit to some cheating....I've been fairly honest with the doctors though about my highs and they haven't been overly concerned. I just feel guilty.
Still sick of meat. I hate it. Eating eggs almost makes me want to gag, but I am trying different varietals to try and make it through. I know I'm close, but damn I want some pasta!!
I have an ultrasound this coming Friday, which is my 38 weeks, to see how big little guy is. I've been measuring ahead since about week 23 though (not alarmingly, off-the-scales ahead, within range ahead) so hopefully he's ok. I was a relatively large girl baby (over 8 pounds) and my brother was over 9 pounds and my mom is a tiny 5 feet....so here's hoping they don't push me for a C-section. My mom managed both of us vaginally. We shall see.
I haven't tried spaghetti squash, @mamrotu73, but SO did make me a zucchini like pasta with pesto the other day. It was so good I would eat it even after baby arrives! I mean, after my week (or two) of eating ALL OF THE CARBS & SUGAR once he gets here
Lol @mamrotu73 I've been avoiding all the calls from the diabetes clinic. I know I really shouldn't but I just can't seem to be bothered to go back! Especially with LO in tow. They actually called DH after trying to reach me unsucessfully but I still haven't called back!
I had an a1c and it was slightly elevated. I suspect it's just leftover, since a1c is a snapshot of the last three months. My spot tests have all been normal. Even after drinking a soda.

I totally forgot to ask about a follow up at my 6 wk and my dr didn't order one. I had an a1c when I was 38 wks though and my number was fine so I suspect everything is good. I was going to call my dr and ask if I should have a follow up but like everyone else said I'm in no hurry to drink that crap again and sit there with 2 kiddos
I have to do take the two hour too. My OB told me I could wait until I go back to work so I didn't have to take the baby. If I have still have issues I am NOT going back to my worthless diabetes doctor. She came to see me in hospital after DS was born. She told me my swelling was down and there was one other thing she mentioned, neither if which I ever had. The nurses told me they don't like her because she never answers her page. Sorry, I guess I still have feelings about her.
I want to know how the hell I'm going to go in there fasting when I have to be up for at least an hour beforehand to nurse and get out the door. Especially since nursing makes me starving. Shiiiiit

This. I've been stressing too. Can't even go all night without a snack so fasting is going to really suck.

Yeah, me too. I don't think I'll eat eggs for a long time, but all the other goodies are super delicious now.
