Yup, right night here too. I lost track of how many times we've been up, but I'm nursing for the 3rd time. He's legit hungry too, so it's not just comfort. I'm so tired.

we are snowed in again! It actually looks like all of those pictures you see of Canada in the winter. If we ever get plowed out, I am going to the gym and sitting in the Sauna, with a margarita in my water bottle!

Watching dvr Grammy's and thoughts so far: I thought Beyonce's sexy dancing would be...sexier. Katy Perry cannot dance bless her heart. I cannot understand what that kid Hunter Hayes is saying. Love Robin Thicke since before he got so popular. I love that Keith Urban did that song with Gary Clark Jr. Love them both!

So since you ladies will totally appreciate my story, (everyone else thinks it is really gross) I was taking a bath last night with my DD and well before I could get out if the tub she pooped in the tub. We were sitting and playing and she got that look on her face. I tried to get out but didn't make it. I heard a thunk an there it was a green floater. X_X I also had my 5 year old son in there too because obviously I don't deserve a nice relaxing bath. My son said "mom it is coming right for me" and so by this time I am laughing so hard my DD was crying and scared because I jumped out if the bath tub so fast. I am just grateful it was her normal hard poo and not diarrhea. :-t

Sorry about grammar. Mobil sucks sometimes.

LO slept till 8 today he has NEVER done it before. He's been waking close to 5:30 but I can never get him to go back to sleep. I can always tell he is still tiered. Today was awesome I actually ate lunch at lunch time instead of 10am. Hoping we can start a new pattern, he was much happier today too. :x

Also it is me whose husband got his buddy the job and it isn't going well.  But I do get ragey for Tiffletons when I read her posts! 

AND I won ... we never gave him the bonus!

After a day of being second guessed by everyone, Ty has decided that sitting up is more fun than eating before bed. Trust me kid, you are gonna want to fill up before you sleep. I've been on this planet longer, trust me

Finally decided I was brave enough to jump into this thread. I have NOT read all the words, but I did catch up on about 30 of the most recent pages. ::slow clap:: Ladies, I am impressed! I don't know if I can keep up with this thing, but you all inspire me.

@subliminalrabbit - I'm so sorry E has been having such rough nights lately. Big hugs! I hope he cuts that tooth and settles back into a better routine. You absolutely amaze me! I don't know how you do what you do all night and then get up and go to work. We were dealing with a similar wake up schedule a few weeks ago and it was all I could do to just keep Madeline entertained all day. There were so many days that DH had to make supper and clean up the house when he got home. I just didn't have the energy to do more than what was absolutely necessary.

@ Subliminalrabbit we had it up on a high bed frame, until she lunged off of it the first time. Now it's just the box spring and mattress. It looks horrible, but saves my sanity. I had to give Miley Advil tonight too, after she had a complete meltdown and began chewing on my shirt. Hope you and your LO get some sleep! Teething is awful!!

Um, there was a first time? Don't put her up there any more. Once is an accident, twice is just stupid. I'm glad she's okay.

I am so tired of this kid standing up on everything. The couch, the baby gates, the tv stand, his toys. Why am I tired of it? Because he stands up and can't get back down gracefully. So he stands there and cries until I sit him back down. And, then 2 minutes later he is back up. Again. We are doing this approximately 500 times a day and I'm over it. Just start walking already. Let's move this along.

I'd take this maybe over him Lunging himself over my lap to only land in his face, fight his way up, whine for mommy and continue until he's tired of it.
Gotta love their determination.

So now DH is home because of the weather, and he is working from home but won't go into the little den/office we have. He insists on being at the kitchen table and LO and I make a lot of noise, so no, I am not going to be quiet!

LOL, totally not out of line and what is this cool kids thing?  It's a completely valid question/suggestion.  E just doesn't fall asleep well for his daddy yet, and it's not something I want to make them both work on at 1AM, you know?  I probably should because it won't happen if they don't practice but I won't sleep anyway if I hear E wailing in his room.  So I actually get MORE sleep if I just do it myself.

If he wakes up at 4AM, DH gets up with him so I can get one more hour.  On weekends he gets up with him if he wakes early as well.

That's completely understandable.  I hope things get better soon so you can get some sleep!

@subliminalrabbit - I know what you mean about work. I went home yesterday and told H that I didn't want to work anymore. I'm so tired of being second guessed and being terrified to make a mistake. Can't SOMEONE give me the benefit of the doubt that they hired a professional and I have some idea of what I am doing...I may or may not have lost it on DH when he "double checked" that I was going to wipe the dogs paws off before I brought them inside...
