Off to the ER at my Hematologist's request for an exam, testing, fluids, etc. Heading to the hospital near his office. H is taking M to his mom and dad's while I'm there so M isn't exposed to anything. Ugh.
So sorry you are going through this. Hopefully they will have some answers so you can get relief.
ugh. I'm over it @chicagochic, I didn't take it as an attack on me at all. Just thought you could have gone about it in a nicer way, and thinks she could still make a good teacher despite that post. it was your wording and unkind tone about something very minor... written on the bump. it was just unnecessary. but, whatever, moving on...

I'm ending on a positive: OF COURSE SHE CAN BE A GREAT TEACHER!!!! End of story.
Could some of you ladies tell me the pro's and con's of being a teacher's aid? I am applying for a postion at one of the elementary school's in town and would just like to hear some personal experience I suppose.
I'm really sorry to be sassy, but when you make something multiple it does not need an apostrophe. Pros, cons and schools do not need an apostrophe. Apostrophes are needed for contractions (cannot = can't, he is = he's) and possession (Jerry's car, the school's cafeteria). If you want to be part of an educational system, you might want to nail those grammar rules first.
holy shit, that was unnecessary.
Sorry, @KellenHi21, I agree with Chicago. Besides, if everyone ignored it, she'd never learn. GL, Daisy.
So my friend is potty training her 2 year old. Today she says, "how do you explain to a 2 year old that everyone has a butt crack and it's ok?" He discovered his today and thought his butt was broken. Went into total hysterics. I died. The stuff kids come up with.

Our new project manager tried to pull some bullshit about my time and effort on a project in which I have worked EVERY night on in 2014 when I said I'm not going to work on it tonight.

Woman. Try the strawberry ale!
Love strawberry!! But H went grocery shopping...#husbandfail
I just finished another p90x3 workout and did 90 pushups! I had no idea I could do that many! Granted, they weren't all great form, but I did it! Weeee...
@WasNotWas - I've been working nights after N goes to bed too. That's what I'm doing right now. It sucks But good job standing up for yourself tonight! You need a break!
Ok, I seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Grayson is wide awake again tonight after being asleep for 30 mins to an hour. Am I putting him to bed too early or too late? He still gets up at the same time around 8:30 in the morning so I know he isn't getting enough sleep but I don't know what to do
@colieann31 I'm sure I'm no expert as my child has never STTN. What time did he go to sleep? Ben often times takes a 30-45 min nap around 6 pm. He is super sleepy and really needs it, plus he still typically ends up going down for the night at 7:30-8 pm.

Has he learned to fall asleep on his own yet? E used to do this also. Every night she would go down, sleep 45 min, then need to be put back to sleep (which was becoming more and more difficult). When we sleep trained I realized she was still needing her third nap pretty late, so her bedtime is later. When she learned to put herself to sleep at bedtime we were able to find a pattern and develop a routine.
No, he used to fall asleep on his own but won't now. I don't know. It's like he's taking a nap at 8 and sleeps for an hour and is ready to get up and play again for a few hours. This all just started. He used to go to sleep and whenever he'd wake up he'd go right back to sleep with some soothing but now he's ready to rock and roll!

Yep. That is exactly what happened in our house. I would probably let him get up for an hour and then put him back down. Of course I would also recommend a couple of nights of sleep training to teach him to self soothe, but I know that not everyone feels comfortable with that. I can't tell you how much it has helped us. I tried the "CIO: bedtime edition" from the troublesome tots site and now E puts herself to sleep in 5 min and sleeps for 10-12 hours.
If it wasn't so late I would say NBD but 11 is pretty late for a baby. I wonder if its a learned behavior now...? He knows he can get up and play more so he does kind of thing...? Ben had a few nights where he was doing the same thing (napping then up til 9:30 or 10) and we were letting him play until I finally decided that I needed to help him learn that it's bedtime not playtime. It was a rough and unhappy couple of nights but I kept him in his room with lights dimmed, sound machine on, etc. I just tried to keep him as chill as possible and not take him out of the room. It seemed to work for us. Just a thought.
Thanks everyone! I'll check out the troublesome tots website that @thetamedshrew mentioned. @subliminalrabbit I don't think he's teething because he hasn't been acting like he's in pain. If he's teething it hasn't been bothering him. I guess it could be bothering him at night but he's also so happy when he's awake so I just don't know. @funkyphoenix I wouldn't mind him being awake until 11 or so if he wasn't getting up so early. There is just no way he's getting the amount of sleep he needs to be getting. Maybe tomorrow I'll try to put his last nap back an hour so it's not too early and see if that helps any. You ladies are seriously awesome!
@samanthaashley93 that's what we were doing for the longest time and he slowly moved his schedule up to where he was waking up between 8 and 9. I SAH with him so I'm not concerned when he goes to sleep necessarily but I want him to be getting enough sleep.
Re: The thread of all threads!
Pleaseandthankyou.

I felt like the board today was all sorts of crazy....
