I'm down to nursing 2x a day and apparently my supply came back after being sick.  So last night I nursed her to bed and she decided to refuse the right side which was full from not nursing since the morning.  I refused to pump so I just hand expressed some.  I woke up this morning literally feeling like it was going to explode.  I think that one boob alone weighed about 5 lbs.  

I'm afraid I'll never be able to wean.  

For those that have, when you finally stop stop do you get engorged and then it just goes away? How does it go away?  I'm so perplexed by this thought of my body no longer making milk.  It seems like a fantasy at this point.

this is a silly question, but I overthink things too much and don't want to come off as controlling. My BIL is getting married and the MOH is plannig the bachelorette at a cottage in the Muskoka's. She sent the FB invite out today and I noticed that my other BIL's SO was not invited (and I obviously think she really should be). Do I send the MOH a message on FB or mention it to the bride, or leave it because I am just a guest and really shouldn't be concerned as to who is invited and not invited. The reason why I am hesitant is that I really don't know any of the people going and don't have any kind of comfort level.

My coworker just gave me a bunch of bootlegged movies!  I should feel bad but I don't. I'm excited! Before we had KJ we used to go to the movies nearly every week. We have given a lot of money to Hollywood.

So after being turned down for a date by the hubby I went to target to splurge on myself. I actually followed through which is a huge deal for me, I hate spending money on myself, but I shopped without even looking at the price tags and bought what I liked. Ended up spending $215 and managed to get 2 pairs of jeans, 2 skirts, a dress, 6 shirts and a new pair of heels. Also while trying things on my hubby called and asked where I was, I wanted to reach through the phone and strangle him!!! I told him I left since he bailed on me and he had the balls to tell me he didn't remember me coming upstairs to wake him from his nap to go on our date!!!! He had a full blown conversation with me while sitting up in bed looking right at me! Then he tried to blame it on being a little sick still and sleep deprivation, I laughed at him for that excuse! Welcome to my world hubby. Ugh, anyone want to trade hubbies and whip mine back into shape, cause he needs it!

@tttwalters - Yes, tell her. Guys aren't good at that kind of stuff and the MOH may not know who the SO is. She may appreciate you telling.

My mom comes to my house to watch LO every Friday while I work and today is the first time she has taken him out in the car. I asked her what they did and she took him to Chickfila and let him have chicken and waffle fries. He had the time of his life I'm sure but he's way to young for that IMO. I'm going to have to say something to her. I'm rocking my kid and he smells like a greasy French fry [-X

Speaking of weaning issues - I am almost always lopsided right now.  Since I feel like I'm constantly engorged, N fills up on one side whenever she nurses and only eats a little from the other side.  This happens 2x a day so each side is getting emptied once a day and just snacked from the other time.  So I pretty much always have one boob that is super full and super sore.  I look ridiculous all the time.

Lo only wants to nurse from one side because the other side has an inverted nipple. I try and make time to pump "wonky" as I have named the inverted one but I don't get around to it so I have been rocking a D cup and an A cup for months. Poor wonky gets like - quarter of what super boob gets. I can only really wear nursing tanks and big tops to mask how lopsided I am!

My old neighbour is coming by with her husbands and Lo's. They still own the unit next door and rent it out. Her and I are painting it and drinking wine tonight while the LO's are hanging with the dad's. I am SO FRICKIN EXCITED!!!!

Um I'm not sure how to take this. I went to pick up G from school today and I mentioned him liking a certain song recently. The teacher was like, "oh, I know, he tells us everything!" And I said yeah, he's very chatty these days! To which the teacher replied, "oh we know- he tells us EVERYTHING that goes on at home- we know all sorts of things about who sleeps where and any family secrets." Um, what?! Maybe that Arlo is in our bed sometimes? G also tells some tall tales so I'm afraid to ask for details to clear anything up.
This is coming off of his announcement last week that "daddy's penis is HUGE and mommy doesn't have a penis, just butts." I reassured the teachers that his statement was all relative, but now DH thinks he's a hot item at pick up.
But seriously what is "everything?!"

@pinkpuffyheart2 if it's really bad I use ibuprofen. Tylenol doesn't put a dent in pain for my boys but I works for a fever.

I think my baby is sleep training herself for daylight savings time. Her bedtime is 8 but every night this week she has wanted to go to sleep around 7.

@Zigspective are you trying different brands? With Joseph we kept trying to give him a Numby sippy cup and he was having a hard time with it. Finally I decided to try the Nuk sippy cup and with a day or two he was drinking out of it no problem. So trying a different brand might work for you guys also!
