Lucy decided 6 am was the new wake up time. A far cry from the 7:40 we've been getting. Oh well. Dishes done, coffee made, kid fed.
My LO is doing the same. But instead of getting things done I put him in bed with me and listened to him fuss, squirm and kick me in the back for an hour. I didn't want to give up hope after a night like last.
@calikat80, that would be so nice! Keeping my fingers crossed for you, that would open up nearly two and a half hours of time for you and your family. [-O<
I missed the bump all weekend. I will catch up on all the words.
WE HAVE A TOOTH!
Starting on Friday, he kept waking up screaming around 2 and refusing the go back to sleep until 5 or 6am. He was running a mild fever (99-100 ish) and was so angry! We thought it was related to the cold he has had, but then on saturday morning while we were nursing, he bit me. And I realized that he had a tooth! I think it broke through overnight. He woke up again last night screaming so I think maybe the other bottom tooth is coming soon.
So I have gotten little sleep all weekend and now it's time for coffee...
my child is a monster today. looks like she has 4-5 teeth that might be coming through. I gave her some advil and dropped her off at daycare. I'm happy it's Monday and that I'm at work. ;;)
Lucky! I wish I was working my LO is going through the same thing 3 are already broken through and two more are trying all on top! Also he has a sinus infection, I wanna run away.
LO had blueberries for the first time today. I just cut up large blueberries into quarters. He seemed happy and gumming them.
Blueberries look the same going out as going in. Massive fail.
:bz
@stargazer763 instead of cutting them, I squish them with my fingers and then give them to Colton. I squish them to avoid it being a round chocking hazard and he gums them and eats them. Blueberries and kiwis are his favorite!
LO gave me his combo respiratory/stomach virus. Send saltines.
Ok this is a thing!! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but my LO has the same combo going on and I thought I was crazy since usually those are two separate things!
@libberluru, is C taking BM from a bottle or formula or both? Just being nosy because LO was taking a bottle of BM from me when needed and when I started adding formula he stated rejecting all bottles now (
Ugh... Trying to find a divorce attorney today. I don't even know where to begin?? Google? lol
Can you do mediation in the states? Most divorces have to go through mediation in Ontario first, and if that doesn't work then they go to court. It's a lot cheaper.

I second mediation. My sister used a mediator for a fairly amicable divorce and it was way cheaper.
MOTY right here...Grayson got ahold of a piece of dirt the dog tracked in when I wasn't looking. When he turned around to look at me his mouth was covered in mud and he had mud all down the front of his jammies.
@colieann32 LOL I just said the same thing to my mom yesterday. I put her in a 12 month outfit and said I'm searching her to 12 month clothes because I'm bored of her 9 month clothes haha!!
He's been wearing the same clothes since November!! Time to switch it up!! Haha
I'm also weaning - we were down to nursing 3x/day and slooooowly getting down to 0 over the next few weeks. Until I got a stomach bug yesterday and woke up this morning with empty boobs for the first time since N was born. She nursed and was clearly not full after - latched back on 15 min later. Clearly this is good for weaning but I'm crying for myself - I thought we had a few weeks left.
It is national cupcake day in Canada as a fundraiser for the animal shelter. Bakeries make and sell cupcakes and the proceeds go to the SPCA. It's a good reason to eat two cupcakes, right?
numbersgirl08 NOOOOOOO I'm so sorry! At least it's a painless end. Physically painless...
Yeah. At this point I'm trying to decide what to do. I skipped nursing her this afternoon so I guess I'll see what my boobs feel like tonight at bedtime. If I'm still pretty empty maybe I'll just go cold turkey now....
Ok, all this talk about weaning and my flu like symptoms made me wonder if there's any chance I have mastitis. I don't have any breast pain...is that possible, then?
I'm pretty sure you would have some breast pain or a clogged duct if you had mastitis. If you're anything like me, your sickness might make weaning easier, which is both good and bad, depending on how you look at it.
Season 4 of Buffy is so brillliant. The silent episode, the dream episode...so good.
I think the silent episode was nominated for (won?) an emmy. IMO it is second only to the musical episode (which I may or may not be able to recite off by heart).

When I had it, I had the flu symptoms and fever for about 36 hours before I had breast pain. However, the pain then showed up big time.
DS1 has been asking for the dinosaur episode of Bubble Guppies, but it hasn't been available on demand since they change what they have. Just thought to check netflix and they have it! So he's happily watching and I'm happily eating chocolate granola.

my read shelf:
Or maybe a Fortinos is you have one.
Yes, they sell PC. We don't have Zehrs out here (Alberta)... Is it a Galen Weston company? Lol
Eta - I found this stuff right beside the PC chocolate chip cookie spread. It's new, because I've looked there before
