@macgrs Totally. I read that over after I posted it and was like, "I just did a status update about my daughter's gastrointestinal problems and poops..." :-bd

@AprilMay9 I get that. We're getting AC installed starting tomorrow (2 day job). Josie and I have been camping out in the bedroom where we have a window unit because the baby can't sleep in the heat. And it's not even that hot here! She's her father's daughter.

Also, this whole reverting back to a 3-4 hr 'long' first stretch after doing 5-7hrs all last week is really messing with me. Not cool, baby. Not. Cool.

My kid gives no fucks about the ceiling fan. He smiles at my and DH's faces, and recently the little plush mobile animals on his bouncy seat, but no fan fascination here.
I wish there was a swaddle that looked like a burrito. I just talked my dog through the making of a baby-rito while re-swaddling A after a feed and diaper change.
@mamrotu73 and @MrsW26 and everyone else wishing their swaddle could look like a burrito, I present to you the Tortilla Baby Swaddle. I happened across this a few days ago and thought it was hilarious and so cute too!
Edit: It looks like @Ashleyahann beat me to the punch, but still - I die!! )
I overslept this morning by half an hour, and then I realized that outside of the crazy thunderstorm that woke me up for a minute, I didn't get up at all last night after I fed Aiden at 11... 7 hours! He slept 7 hours!!! Fluke or not, I'll take it! \:D/
@kcp913 don't feel guilty! Sometimes it's good for you to get away and good for your DH to spend some time with the baby too. It doesn't make you selfish by any means!
I've been on Zoloft for a month now. I feel like I have my life back! I can't believe how much has changed over the past few weeks and how much I'm enjoying my time with my kids now. I never doubted my love for my children, but I was always doubting my parenting abilities and so afraid to be left alone with them all the time, so that made being a SAHM really tough. The improvement on my anxiety and OCD has been like night and day. I can't believe I waited 5 years to get help.

@thomas930 So happy for you! I know it's easy to say, "I should've done this differently," but just be proud of yourself for finally getting the help you needed and moving forward as the awesome mom you are that your kids will remember you as as they grow older.

Had a dream last night that Red from OITNB was the chef for some building I lived in. I complained that she didn't have mac&cheese and she beat me nearly to death with her metal ladle.

So, instead of having a pacifier sucker or a thumb sucker, we apparently have a fist sucker. Oh well. If its something that helps him settle his shit down, it's cool in my book.... For now.
Yay, @thomas930! Glad to hear you're feeling better. I can only imagine how overwhelming it is to be a sahm when you feel like you were.

@MrsStanton87 good luck with house hunting! @thomas930 glad you are feeling better! @fourthnlast we had a good night of sleep too. Maybe some sort of karmic reward for the day time crabbiness?
