I can relate to not sleeping- this is the third night where I just can't sleep. I keep checking the clock all night long to see if it's late enough yet to justify getting up and making coffee. I'm soooo tired but feel like I've just had a triple espresso when I get in bed.

Well this day is off to a fantastic start! Terrible night's sleep and cramping. DH was a mega ass this morning (woke up at 5) and he left for work a half hour ago without saying happy birthday. I am in no way high maintenance but at least acknowledge my birthday.

I know it is not a prank, he isn't the type and he knows I hate it. No better way to start the day than a good old fashion ugly cry.

I came into work today and my coworker was talling me a story of how his fiancee wasn't called into sub today so she wanted to play videogames. Sadly her Father was home and would "bother her all day." Isn't that sad?

I told him/her to suck it up buttercup, put on her big girl pants and tell her dad to leave her alone or move out. I didn't realize losing ones brain-to-mouth filter was part of pregnancy. We should get the last few weeks off just so we don't kill anyone .

@3crazykitties I'm sorry your DH was being a mega-douche this morning. I hope your day improves enough to truly call it a happy birthday!

And with everyone talking about their lack of sleep, I'm going to have to agree! With a combination of DD and heartburn I haven't been able to sleep yet. I'm going to make another attempt though, since my eyes feel like they're going to shrivel up and die. Good "night," RTT!

@mamamonzo, I remember this happening with DD also. And if I did anything I wasn't used to yet I would gush after.I think it's normal unless it's super heavy or full of clots. Hopefully it subsides for you soon!

Thanks for the circ advice @colleenswerb and @mamamonzo. I feel so oblivious by having a boy. I know it's stupid, but no one in my social circle has had a boy and my family hasn't seen a boy since my cousin was born 27 years ago.Gavin was my first boy diaper change.

This is how my nights of sleep unfold lately...Fall asleep on right side for an hour.  Wake up and need to sit up to change sides because rolling over is too painful due to carrying 5 bowling balls in my belly.  Decide since I'm sitting up I might as well go pee.  Go back to bed and sleep on my left side.  Wake up after an hour to repeat the process. All night long.

Clothes are just way to uncomfortable on top of being late 3rd tri pregnant.

The anticipation of the unknown can be the worst. I have faith that all you brand new mama's will do just fine. Yes, you'll make mistakes (like we all do) but you will also learn from them and be a better parent.

@kseccomb17 - our circ with DS1 went really well. He didn't even cry during the procedure. I would be sure to pull the skin back every diaper change and clean really well to make sure it doesn't re-adhere. DS's started to a little bit, so we had to pull it back apart, which was really no big deal since we caught it so soon. It's amazing how much further they can pee once that foreskin is gone though, so watch out!

Ok, probably clots is more likely- glad you have a dr appt. I know I gushed some weeks out so I thought it was a period but it was from exercising (I didn't get periods again until 9 months pp). Hope all is ok with your gushing clit
