I love my vet... After explaining my car situation the receptionist had the vet call me back. Because my fur baby is a small breed he is prone to hip dysplasia, I explained I heard a popping noise and he was swollen in the hip area. She explained how to get it back into place and some massaging to reduce the fluid build up, my fur baby is back to normal with a slight limp for the next day or so.  I imagine he loved the massage every couple of hours!!!

So DH got some motivation tonight and decided to open and put together the travel system. Thank God he did because shortly after opening it we realized a couple of parts on the stroller got cracked/broke off during shipment! Total PITA having to take it back to BRU tomorrow but I am so glad we didn't wait till closer to DDAY open it!

So I went for that training haircut today. I assumed it would be the guy cutting my hair into the style, THEN having the educator come over and check thr overall cut for accuracy...instead it was every. teensy. weensy. section that was cut had to be thoroughly inspected for perfection. Can't complain cause my haircut is divine, but what I thought would take an hour and a half tops took THREE AND A HALF HOURS.

I just wanna give a shout out to @RubiksElf, cause she came along to mind DS while I got this done, and ended up having to spend 3½ hours in the mall babysitting someone else's crazy toddler. Had I known it was gonna take so long I would've made other arrangements. I feel like a total asshole, but she was super gracious about it. She's an awesome friend. Just wanted to say that.

I'll post before & after pics when I'm not mobile bumping from bed.

I want raspberry sweet cream crepes in my life right now. (side note, my phone really wanted them to be "creeps." Gimme those raspberry creeps!!)

After one day off on leave, my GM texted first thing in the morning with a break up personal emergency meltdown and begged me to work his shift. So I worked last night and I swear I sat on my ass and did freaking nothing, and I am still sleepless and miserable all night. Currently chilling on the couch where I can flop and move and be awake guilt free waiting for DH's alarm to go off. Smh.

@jennypenny I used to get my hair cut at a training school and yes, they take a lot longer. But 3 1/2 hours?! Yikes.

I have officially hit the stressed out stage of getting things ready before baby, which apparently does not bide well for sleeping. Mostly work related as I have SO much to tie up before I leave and a little over 3 weeks to do it. Ahhh!

Up until late re-admitting my MIL to the hospital, and now I'm freaking awake at freaking 4:30 am. For the first time I feel like I officially can't with all other threads today. Except HDBD. I do love that one. I may have to call in for the morning. Freaking sleep. Why do I need you so much?!?

Woke up to 54 text messages this morning - group text with my mom and brothers. Apparently someone tried to break into my mom's house last night. She said she was on the couch and heard someone shaking the doorknob from the garage, she said hello, no one answered, so she hit the panic button on the alarm. The police were there within 2 minutes and saw footprints around the house, she saw a car back out of the driveway, but they weren't able to catch anyone. So happy she installed that alarm, but now I'm freaked out that she lives alone with her 2 dogs.

Actually speaking of ash wed, I was watching the news and there is a place in RI that's doing drive through ash services. I'm sure it is for people who work and need to get it done quickly.
Anyway I decided they should start having more services like that. You drive up to the speaker box abd order the Body of Christ meal. Then you drive up, receive your cracker and juice, and drive off. Oh and there should be a mascot with the priests and it should be the Buddy Christ.

Got home at about 2am
They said possible SPD but they don't think they want to define it at this point..but they think it's just my frame and this belly/weight gain so fast my body couldn't keep up so it's causing this feeling. Supposed to monitor and come back if anything wild occurs.

Good thing the "babymoon" consists of just sitting around. The pool should be nice for it.

Ugh, so unsettling. This happened a few years back when my mom, brother and I were helping my grandmother move. We had the UHaul out in the driveway since we pulled in late at night and someone saw fit to come try to mess with it and peer in the windows around 2 am. My brother and I were sleeping on the couches in the living room when I noticed a face in the window - not a minute later my brother was outside shirtless, shoeless with a baseball bat pacing in the street in front of the house yelling obscenities. The next day we got her a very yappy rat terrier at the shelter. I don't think the neighbors loved the yelling, but my grandmother says they've looked out for her in our absence.

Unsettling is exactly how I'm feeling...and I wasn't even there! She got the dogs shortly after my Dad died as well as the alarm system, it just doesn't seem real that someone tried to get in the house!

Lame snow here. The kind of snow that isn't quite enough for heavy duty snow tires to grip, so, its just REALLY slippery. And of course, there are asshats that follow too close, or, turn a corner and slam on their breaks. Why can't people who live here drive in the snow??!!

His crackhead mom (who has 4 other kids ranging in ages from 8 months to 5 years old with different men) asked him if he had kids. When he said 'in about a month', she said 'your wife should have had an abortion. Don't do it.'

Thanks lady! What a peach. I don't know how he does his job every day without becoming jaded and depressed.
