My bf never texts me when he's at work unless it's dire (ok that's a slight exaggeration) but he just text me to wish me luck on my mid term tonight. Is it corny that I can't stop smiling about this and now I'm determined to do well so I don't let him down?

I posted my first last week at 34 weeks.  Taking pictures of my bump requires a tripod and my DSLR since I have no smartphone and DH has our smaller camera.

If I had to guess, I'd say all the delivery people at our local Jimmy John's know me as "that one pregnant lady" by now. I order it 3-4 times a week.  X_X

Why do people doubt their ultrasound techs and then come post their ultrasounds on the bump asking what we think their baby is? Dude, I do hair. I have no fucking clue how to read your kids smudgy black and white genitals. Trust the people who have years of training in that department!

ETA: I totally knew someone once who claimed they knew a dentist who could look at your tongue and tell you what you were having. Seriously. 8-|

One of my brothers manages a JJ and has no clue how the company determines delivery range. He said it's super illogical. If he or the drivers happen to know a person who calls and they're within a reasonable distance he has it delivered anyway.

My husband is being an asshat. He is going snowboarding on Friday (which I forgot about) and instead of RENTING equipment like a normal person, he wants to BUY it. Like wtf man. You're going to go snowboarding once this season and then the shit will just sit, taking up space we DONT have with 3 kids. Plus it's a waste of money (which could be spent on stuff for the baby!!). Now he's mad and thinking I'm being unreasonable. :-w

I just drank some tea and I feel really good right now. I brewed a vanilla spice green tea and mothers tea together. Normally I get sleepy when I drink caffiene in the middle of the day but this actually pepped me up. Just wanted to share

Sweet tits magee, the co-pay at the dentist is ridiculous. $200 today and I have to take two kids back next week for 2 more fillings. I'm about to go back to brushing everyone's teeth myself, including the 11 year old!!! FFS.

I typically use a tempurpedic type also, made for my neck issues. Maybe I'll try throwing another underneath that one tonight and see if it helps but I usually end up with neck pain on the other side if I've got too much under my head

Totally agree with Colleen. I have major neck issues from the harp and usually the tempurpedic made for neck problems work. But, since I've been pregnant, I've added another soft pillow on top and its helped. I'm sure I'll go back after, but, its just a weird pregnancy thing.

@poru I'm traveling at 37 weeks (about two hours overnight) for work. My dr was like nbd as long as I'm not driving and I have someone who can leave with me if I need to. A female coworker is my stand in DH for the two days since she has experience but I saw it as a fun last trip. My mom and a few other coworkers think I'm insane for being that far. Here's hoping it works out for both of us!

@aviola329 is the neck issue a new thing or pre pregnancy? I've noticed in the past month or so my neck muscles feel very weak. It hurts to have a towel on my head and I have to has the pillow a very specific way to support. I'm hoping it passes once the baby is born!

Take it from my hallway closet that is packed with Scuba gear, put your foot down and tell him to rent! That shit is expensive! My husband hasn't been diving in 4 years! What a waste of money and SPACE!

I got to hold an 8-week-old little girl today!  Squeee!  Unfortunately, I'm now feeling unbearably guilty thinking about leaving my 12-week-old little girl with a stranger when I go back to work.  I don't know how I'm going to do it but I don't think I'm going to have a choice.

My random thoughts for the moment: 

1) Peanut finally moved off my sciatic nerve, so my leg is not currently throbbing - yay!

2) My car is finally back home - I love being able to get into and out of the car without bending over. I don't know how you ladies with small cars deal while pregnant. Maybe it has something to do with me being 5'11"?

3) DH and I tried to order pizza from a really good place we ordered from a few weeks ago. Since we last ordered, they changed their delivery zone and now we are just outside it by 0.5 miles. DH and I both wanted to cry.

I had a growth scan because I hadn't gained any weight yet so there was concern that the baby may not have been growing well (I'm 280 lbs already, so don't think I'm bragging - my doc would prefer I gain next to nothing). Otherwise, the anatomy scan @20 weeks would've concluded my U/S's for this pregnancy. So don't worry - you're not missing anything, and you're far from dumb.
