There is snow outside!!!! Ok I know this isn't exciting for most of you, but I grew up in south FL and moved to NC this year. Snow is still amazing for me! I'm laying here desperately wanting my son to wake up so we can go play in it before it melts away.

My H will never be a real adult.  I handle all the bills. He gets all pouty and ridiculous if I even talk about them.  The man has many strong points, but budgeting and bill-paying are not among them.  If I go first, he'll need to hire someone to manage his finances, I think.

So on the plus side of ending up in L&D yesterday, I got to tour the place! They only do official tours Mondays at 6 and I work till 7 so that wasn't going to happen. The rooms themselves are super nice, they have their own thermostats that actually work, huge windows, lots of space to move around and a sweet shower that has jets. They said I have no restrictions when it comes to laboring they even provide labor balls and shower chairs if i wanted to labor in the shower with the jets hitting my back to relieve pain/stress. They even have one room with a birthing tub, but that I would have to ask my dr if that is something they let their patients use (note to self, add birthing tub question to list for dr) all in all I am feeling pretty awesome about my hospital choice!

Debating on going in to work today. I slept like crap because of the congestion and my sinuses are still killing me, but burning through my PTO like this is less than ideal. Might be able to work from home for a half day at least...
Agh. If I wasn't pregnant if power through for sure. I just know that a sinus infection makes one prone to picking up a cold or other bug more readily so I don't want to expose myself to any if possible.
Also- I miss you NyQuil, so very much.

"Hi, this is your doctor's office..  Great news, your GTT test came back normal!" "Great thanks!" "Yeahhhh....  But you also have anemia!" 

Obviously not a biggie, except DH heard and is now googling anemia and thinks I'm going to die.  I'm just happy I have a reason for being so tired lately!

I may be toasting English muffins for breakfast solely as a vehicle to get Nutella into my mouth. I don't know what it is about condiments lately, but I'm ALL about them! Will also be having apple slices to get peanut butter in my belly too.

It's strange--I remember not being able to stomach sugar for an entire 4-5 months after getting pregnant and now that is all I want. Sometimes, I don't eat until 11am and then have to make the hard decision of breakfast or lunch and breakfast = sugar, so it always wins out!

I think I am one of the guilty who have been kinda MIA lately on here. Been beyond busy trying to get my currently place vacuumed, dusted and scrubbed down so we can eventually bring a baby in here. Along with that we have been scouring the internet finding houses to look at. So much going on my head is spinning!

OH and the tacos DH is whipping up are ready! OLE!

I didn't want to start a new thread for something so minor, so thought I'd post here: This shortness of breath thing is no joke! I felt like I was gasping for air all the way to work this morning. Anyone have any tips for finding a bit of comfort? Is it just baby's positioning and a matter of getting her to move?

I think Peanut may have finally flipped from sideways to up/down - I bend over and I can feel a body part right by my ribs! I may have to revise my previous desire of having him flip.  Transverse meant no rib poking!!

I have to sit on the edge of a chair and kind of over extend my back to get more room up in there.  I sometimes have to push the babies down a little bit (awesome mom, already, I know).  It is temporary but it helps for a little.

Speaking of things we're wanting, a calzone sounds awesome. But for me, I would KILL for some really good japanese dumplings (gyoza). They don't have them here. But, I could eat a boat load if they did. I'm going to try and eat something healthy tonight though, especially after my bathroom adventure from hell yesterday.

They think she only has 3 months to live. THREE MONTHS.  I am a total wreck and cannot stop bawling. Right when I am welcoming one baby into the world I will have to say goodbye to my other baby. I don't know how I am going to get through this. Please pray for her.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear about that adventure no one wants to have happen to them.  I had a bit of one the other day, also.  Healthier foods are sounding pretty good nowadays.

I am so sorry!! This is just a horribly difficult thing to experience. Sending good thoughts and hugs your way.

I am so sorry.  I know exactly what you are going through, as I had to say goodbye to my sweet rescue kitty of 12 years only two weeks ago today.  She had leukemia resulting in renal failure.  I will definitely pray for you and your rottie baby.

Talking to the mechanic about getting work done on my car, and this little....diva...inside of me will not stop playing on the trampoline that is my bladder. I was trying my hardest not to make noticeable reactions but I know at least three times my eyes tripled in size and my mouth gasped open. Trouble maker.

@cgoldian: I'm so sorry for you. We just lost our family Labrador, assuming due to lung cancer. It's never a good time to say goodbye, I'm heartbroken she won't meet my LO, but I try to just keep remembering how much love I was able to give her. Hope you spoil the crap out of your rottie (which is one of my favorite breeds by the way) and really enjoy the rest of your time together.

=(( Aww, I'm so sorry you had to get that kind of news.  I lost my first dog to cancer in 2007, and it sucked.  We only got a week's notice, and that made it even harder.  Take the time you have now to really love on your baby! Even though you can't change the ultimate outcome, making the time you have left count will make it easier in the long run.

Feel free to bawl here as often as you need! ((Hugs)) to you and your fur baby.

An honest auto mechanic!!! My car has a coverage plan up to 75,000 miles and this is my last check covered. The mechanic came and asked me "your brakes are covered, but since this is your last check, this is the last chance to change them without paying. They aren't bad, but they are worn down, would you like us to change them anyway?" Heck yeah if it's covered give me the whole spa treatment! Now if only I had remembered to bring a book to read because it will take an extra hour and a half...guess I will be commenting on pretty much every bump thread. Watch out!

@cgoldian I am heart broken for you. Losing a pet is incredibly difficult. I hope you are able to enjoy her every minute. I pray that you are able to find peace and strength through this difficult time.
