Yep I had to reschedule again. They are refunding our money. Now we hve I wait until Thursday at 11.

I think the Metzling is having a huge growth spurt. After breakfast, snack, two lunches, and a dinner that was designed for fatty mcfaterson, I am still down a pound from last week and STARVING!

It is -11 with a windchill of -29 degrees here in Minneapolis, I am nice and cozy in bed, yet all I can think about is how can I get doughnuts and coffee into my belly??!

I don't understand the obsession with wanting your baby to grow up so fast. Someone on a group asked what age did other moms start potty training. Some said as low as 9 months. What the actual fuck?! DD was barely walking at 9 months!

Oh a happier note.. I let DD sleep in bed with me after DH left at 5. Totally worth it. She slept in until 9:30. I think I have found my new secret weapon so I can actually get some sleep!

J&NL I let DD climb in with me to these days. We are able to at least lay around till 10 before she starts going nonstop!

Its my last day off, and that saddens me. I want to lay on the couch and feel sorry for myself all day. I have a dr's appt this afternoon though, which means I should shower and  get dressed so the doctor doesn't think i'm incapable of caring for myself, let a lone a baby...Is it the weekend yet!!

I don't blame you! DH is going to the field tomorrow and probably won't be back until Thursday night so I plan to have her sleep with me so we can sleep in. Plus, I'm a huge baby so I feel like I need her there with me because it's scary having her across the house.

@katiegummow something about am I being a hormonal bitch about my shower? It's most likely on page 2 but the OP is gone. For what the OP said people were actually very understanding and helpful. I pretty much saw it as a woe is me story :-@

Also I've been meaning to ask you if you use groupon at all? They always have spa services and I know you were asking about back facials!

Refresh my memory - you said before that your OB did not find protein in your urine, right? My memory is fuzzy, so I could be mixing you up with someone else. I guess my only suggestion would be to notify your OB if your headache doesn't subside and you're still worried about your BP readings... With any luck the doc can recommend another decongestant that won't mess with you. Hope you feel better soon! Headaches SUCK!

Thanks, mama!  I do Groupon and look out for those, I should start calling and see if It would apply to a back facial.  Thanks for the thought!  Really good idea

J&NL DD shares a room with her 14 yr old sis till we move in Oct. When she is away at friends DD is in bed with me. She gets late nights and even later mornings = good day for the both of us. I have no shame!!

Just her complaining about her MIL asking her to make decisions for her baby shower and how being pregnant is oh so hard so she's stressed out. She also used terrible grammar and basically spoke in text.

WooHoo!  Participating in the RTT for the first time in a long time.  I have 2

1.  I'm in full out nesting mode, but my house is usually a mess, so it's going to take a while to get it clean.  My daily goal is to go to bed with it in better shape than it was in the morning when I got up.  I kind of wish I could post my daily progress here, but don't want to bore you with "I did another load of laundry (including getting it folded and put away) and cleaned out my shirt drawer and got rid of shirts I'm no longer wearing).

2.  When I dropped DS off at daycare, one of the little girls was telling me about watching Sleeping Beauty.  "The witch turned into a dragon!  And the dragon was named Maleficent!"  DS pipes up "The dragon was an elephant!"

Since I hate making new threads I'll just put this here. My SIL has been bugging me for weeks asking if I need anything for the baby and asking if I have this or this yet because if not she'll let me use hers. It got annoying so I finally gave in and said the only thing I really need are clothes so if I could borrow some from when my niece was small that'd be awesome. Well the other day she brought over a huge box of clothes but the majority of it is so heavily stained I'm not even going to use it. I did manage to find a good chunk of still decent looking things that I'll probably use.

What do I do with the leftover things though? Do I give them back to her now (she wants them back after the baby grows out of them anyways) or would that be rude? I don't really have storage space for all the passed up things either..

Little boy was not super cooperative, but he remains a boy and apparently has a full head of hair.  He also apparently loves having his hand up by his face - I told him he has 9 weeks to get over that and get it out of the way.
