I just ate a giant burrito and now I feel better. Lesson learned-- when I get cranky, food is the answer. Maybe I should share this on one of the weight threads?
I realized this about myself lately. I try to figure out why I'm being a raging bitch and then as soon as I've eaten I'm puppies and rainbows

The kitchen staff at work has started feeding me before I ask if they think my attitude needs adjusting. Usually prompted by a dude who is a dad. Smart fella.

Came home to my crazy dog all nested in my pregnancy pillow! He's apparently claimed it for himself...when I woke up this morning he was laying on it too.

AW: DH finally felt the baby kick! Ninja kicks for the win! (But please don't kick mama's ribs/bladder/other organs, kid. We're on a roll, no need to start hurting me now...)
The hat and booties that @WifeofaComposer made for my little guy came in the mail today! They are awesome! If you want a fashionable April baby, consider yourself advised!

My mother is visiting. I love her to death but she's been pressuring me because I don't have a name for my son yet. So I happen to mention that I like the name Quinn, to which she replies "that's a girl's name." NO IT'S NOT!
And then I google and find out, to my dismay, that some female character on Glee was named Quinn. Ugh! I don't even watch Tv!
DH brought home a sub and soup for himself (because I said I didn't want one) and then I saw it and wanted it. Now the poor guy has gone back out to Subway to fulfill my order after working all day, while I sat around in my pajamas.

Got mine yesterday. I love em even more in person. I literally snuggled the hat. How gay!!!
To me, Quinn can really be a boy or girl name. I heard it first as a girl name years ago but now I have a student named Quinn and he's a boy. It can work either way.

Debating on whether or not I should make a thread about this. It's not a huge deal at all. I've been asking for a lot of advice lately, so I'm trying not to appear as a needy freak! Sorry if this is misuse of the RTT.
I'm most likely having 3 showers, 2 for sure. There are only 30 items in my registry. Is that about average, or am I totally missing something here?? I don't see how I can have 3 showers and have the guests be able to choose from a variety of things when they'll probably all be bought out the first shower.

That seems a little light. Have you bought a lot of the necessities yourself already? I only say it seems light because I haven't bought anything, because I'm waiting until after my shower to see what else we'll need. At the very least, is put some toys/books/blankets/clothes on it, to avoid a bunch of people getting you stuff you don't like. Or diapers. Do people register for diapers? I did, but we're cloth diapering.

Oh snap-are diapers not a good thing to give people at showers? Not knowing ANYTHING about babies that's all I used to give.
Glad I'm not the only one clueless about shower ettiquette! As far as gifts go, I mean. This board has taught me more than I EVER wanted to know about baby shower ettiquette.

In my experience hardly anybody actually shops off the registry. They all want to buy you the super cute clothes or other things that they find. I did register for diapers with my first just so that people would know which brand we wanted.
I got caught speeding but it was the day after my dog died my head was so distracted thinking about her and all of that I didn't even notice I was going 80 in a 65

I didn't register for clothes either because they're a given, and was going to do the same regarding diapers and basic necessities like bathing items, but then I thought about what if someone wants to buy the specific brand that I want? (Luvs because they're affordable but work just as well as Pampers and Huggies! Being a preschool teacher has taught me that. ) Or what if I get 30 bottles of shampoo because no one knows if it's been bought for me or not yet?! I guess that's not a bad thing, but where on earth would I put it all?
We only have clothes, a bouncer and a bassinet so far, and we'll be getting a changing table in a couple months. I didn't think about toys or books. That's a good idea. Maybe I need to revisit a registry list...

Do babies move more after a certain week? I thought I read somewhere they are only active 4 hours a day. It feels like she is active 20 hours a day lately. Is that possible?

Are any of you getting your guys a diaper bag? I'm thinking about getting DH a diaper dude bag.
I let DH register for ours when DS1. He picked a dude one and I don't really care one way or the other. I figure if it means he'll carry it and change the baby when we're out, then it works for me.
@aviola329 No, just Target. I've been considering BRU since I've been hearing a lot of you ladies talk about it, but the one nearest us is 45+ minutes away. I think I'd only register for online only items. I don't want to have to drive that far to register, so I sure wouldn't want to make any of my guests drive that far to get me something.
