I'm not sure if I should do a swim classes or music classes with DS. Any input?
I vote music, but I'm a music teacher so I'm partial Maybe look at a local college outreach program for classes. That's where I take DS and it's great because it's taught by music professors and collegiate music students.
This makes twice now that I have set DS down on the floor, walked away for a minute, and come back to find him sitting upright. He won't do it when I watch!
I'd tag you all but my brain is fried from being up 7 billion times with DD who was apparently starving all night. And all day today. My nips are sore and I'm exhausted. And tomorrow's Monday
I just laid DD down awake but drowsy and I'm pretty sure she's more awake then drowsy by the way she's kicking away. Just go to sleep, child!
Also, re: walkers. DD loves hers. Should I not be putting her in it? What were the reasons that they're bad again?

Instagram folks that aren't on my FB. I deleted my old account and got a new one since my old one had way too many pictures on it for my comfort, so if you would like, please add my new one.
@Vinny424 I vote swim! We started DS1 in swim at 5 months and he is such a fish. I have a genetic disease and swimming is one of the best things for my body, however I'm horrible at swimming. I can't put my face under the water. Since its genetic and my boys could have it, I want them to be better in the pool than me. I think music is very important, but swimming is such an important skill and so good for the body.
I was away in the mountains this weekend. It had its ups and downs. It was stressful because we went with the IL's and SIL's, so everything was based on their schedule instead of asking when the baby needed to eat or nap, then got mad when we had to stop a hike to feed him. At the hotel the first night there was a group of college boys that drank too much and were loud as shit which woke the baby up for 3 hours! Otherwise it was okay and I survived. Also, used my doppler when I got home for the first time this pregnancy and heard a healthy heartbeat of 145bpm. Best sound in the world.
Hugs @MrsStanton87. Marriage is hard and men don't listen.
My husband has put Edolie to sleep for every nap today, and just now for bedtime. Each time he has gotten her to calm down by putting the shirt I wore yesterday near her. She loves me. :x

I don't know why but they're illegal here. Probably some dumbass who was like 'oh I'll just go have a nap while my child teeters precariously over the edge of my stairs! Dum dee dum!' I wish we could buy one, they seem like so much fun for babies.
yeah its to do with the falling down the stairs - basically if they fall in the walker they have absolutely no way of protecting their head, so they come down very hard straight on their head. A crawling baby would probably not fall down the entire flight of stairs, but stop after one or two but in a walker they tend to go all they way, and land with the walker on top of them. And the scary thing is you only have to turn your back for just 2 seconds and away they go. Hundreds of kids go to hospital for head injuries because of them. Its just not worth the risk.
They have also been linked to development delays because they don't learn how to pull them selves up and all that. I'm not against then, but I wont have one because we have stairs, and it doesn't take much at all for them to topple.

I'm annoyed with my MIL. She posted pictures today on fb of her and my SIL's 7 month old at the pumpkin patch. I'm only annoyed because her fb is full of photos of her and the other grandkids, but I think she's only ever posted one of DD. Also, we live in the same city, so they might have thought to include us in their trip, but oh well. I'm pretty sure my SIL is practically living at my IL's house, so it makes sense she has more pictures of her. It just seems like she is playing favorites and makes me sad for DD

They need to make a shirt that transforms into a sleepsack. Then when you get undressed at night, you just put your stinky shirt on the baby for bedtime.
Bonus: reduced laundry!
Yes!!! Genius. You should get a patent for that.

A keeps scooting forward in his sleep. Then he hits his head against the end of the crib until I come move him back.
Yet during the day he can only scoot backwards when he tries to crawl.
:-/
You're in trouble. M started scooting backwards in his sleep a few days before he did it awake. Therefore, A is clearly going to start forward locomotion soon!
My MIL loves to tell the story of DH's sister falling down some stairs in a walker - so I guess those stupid people exist and lucky me I get to be related to one.
Clearly her stupidity is genetic. Last night when I was probing DH as to why he doesn't help with LO and he said its hard for him because he has to adhere to some made up schedule in my head like the fact that she has to nap 2 hours after she wakes up...... This is not our first child, he knows better than this. I can ignore the obvious - I married a dickhead
I made the mistake of casually sharing via text that LO had tried baby yogurt and rice rusks ( separately) recently. Cue like ten texts of questions regarding the baby yogurt . She is like in disbelief that such a thing exists and why must the baby have the baby yogurt. how does it differe from regular yogurt? what is the texture like ? where do you buy it ? does it come in a box ? what flavours are there? Does LO like it ? Did you taste it ?
I had to take two of the crib bumpers off yesterday because DS started pulling himself up on them a little. Cue bonking his head on the crib slats while trying to fall asleep. The good news is that I got him to fall asleep in the crib by patting his back and giving a pacifier rather than having to nurse him back to sleep!! :-bd
First World Problem Of The Morning : I was "bad" ( meaning I didn't eat the diet friendly scrambled egg and fruit ) this morning and had a toasted carb filled everything bagel with melted marble cheese on it for breakfast . I am still hungry of course because a bagel is a crap breakfast and am wishing I had just had the damn boring eggs and fruit.
Dylan and I have a show called "Making the Bed". It's kinda like a cooking show only we're making the bed. He sits in his pack n play and I talk him through the process of making the bed. I do it in a British accent. His father thinks I'm weird.
I just can't with these satire websites and people posting them on facebook. There is no vaccine for Ebola therefore the govt is not putting microchips in your body!
@snowbound I just complained about those sites to DH this morning!
@MrsStanton87 I'm still taking mine most days. I have another whole bottle before my prescription runs out I think, but as long as I'm pumping I'll probably keep taking them.
LO is about 15lbs and is wearing a 9 month set from Carters. It is almost too small. It's about the size of the 6 month ones! Grrr not sure if it's just cut small or if the tag I wrong. Grey sweatshirt with white dot flowers and bright yellow knit pants if anyone else has it.
Don't know if Canada sizes are different but my 16 lbser is still comfortably in 6 month carter stuff.
I just want to say that I am so glad things have turned around for me. I love our new routine now since starting back up at the gym and thanks to my new medicine, I feel like myself again. For the first time in a long time, I'm actually content where I am.
20 pounds and 28 inches long so D wears all kinds of sizes. I don't waste money on gerber because their shit is for chihuahuas. He can fit 4-6 and 9-12 month H&M onesies. He's currently wearing some 9-12 month stuff I ordered from babymallonline.com (which are a tad baggy on him). If you guys haven't heard of that place you may want to order from there. Stuff runs true to size and some stuff is bigger. He's got some old navy stuff but I won't be ordering from there anymore. He just grew out of a ton of 3-6 mo stuff that he's been wearing for a while now. I'm putting the 6 mo Carters sleeper that @acrookston got him on tonight for the 1st time. Hopefully it fits. Carters has always been true to size on him though.
Holy! You guys have some fat and happy babies My guy is not even 16 pounds....maybe that's why he makes me work so hard for the smiles. He's like "Feed me, biatch!" Are these formula fed babies or breastfed? I've read that bf babies weigh less....
First time on RTT so pardon me if I'm repeating what's already been said

Hugs @MrsStanton87. Marriage is hard and men don't listen.
Hugs to all the moving and sick mama's!
And hugs to everyone else just because.
Me too. I DVR them and watch them in the morning or while DS naps.
I brushed my teeth and came to bed only to get hit with the worst stench ever! DH gets gassy so easily! And damn this is smelly.
I stole my phone from LO, and have sequestered myself in the guest bedroom alone...
DH keeps saying LO misses you and wants you to come back! And also that I must be pregnant because my sense of smell is crazy heightened...
I think he just smells bad
But my guilt will get to me and I'll go back eventually..
