SS: I've never heard or seen the name Cadrienne so I can't say that I have an opinion on the spelling, but this spelling doesn't really look right. I would definitely spell Aleysia the right way, which is Alicia. This spelling can sometimes also be pronounced like ah-LEE-shah, but I would still spell it "Alicia".

Its not pronounced alicia its aleysia pronounced a-lee-cee-a lol maybe i need to change the spelling for her middle name.her first name is like adrienne but with a c. Cadrienne.
I like it spelled this way because its more girly vs caydrian which seems boyish.
I had no idea how to pronounce it the first way you have it spelled. I think Caydrian is easier to sound out. I agree with @thomas930 about the spelling of "Alicia" Please don't spell it with an "O".
@mskitty1985 I know, the name is pronounced both ways so spelling it Alicia would be the correct way to spell it.
Alicia meaning and name origin
Alicia \a-li-cia\ as a girl's name is pronounced ah-LEE-shah, ah-LEE-see-ah. It is of Old German origin, and the meaning of Alicia is "noble, exalted". Modern Latinate form of Alice. Phonetic forms to ensure a particular pronunciation are popular. Actress Alicia Silverstone.

Oic lol no wonder everyone pronouncing it that way... Def have to change the spelling. Thanks.
@mskitty1985 No problem, I wasn't trying to argue with you but I just wanted to show you that there was a correct way to spell it even if it has two ways to pronounce it.

Is it uh-lee-see-uh or uh-lee-see-ay? (Your last response made me think the second one kinda.)
Alicia has two pronunciations though so if it's the first one I'm confused on why you wouldn't consider spelling it the right way?
Lol thomas 930 told me so il have to change the spelling
You don't HAVE to change the spelling. It's your kid after all. It just looks tacky spelled like that imo.
Im not spelling it any of these ways its too confusing for people gotta spell it a diff way and i know its my kid so im changing it so its easy for people to pronounce.

"A-lee-see-uh" is still spelled Alicia. I like Cadrienne Alicia. I've never heard Cadrienne but with the Adrienne comparison I like that spelling better.
I'm an English major and if I saw "Aleysia" I would probably pronounce it ah-lay-shuh. Maybe it's just me? I like Cadrienne--looks very girly and almost French.
I don't really care for any of your spellings. I would spell it without trying to be cutesy. I'd rather my kid have a name others know how to pronounce than a name that's "cute." As PP said, I would spell it cadrianne or Cadrienne Alicia.
ETA: although people can find a way to mispronounce just about any name. It's quite amazing.

Have you thought of kadrienne with a k? For cadrienne I would pronounce it cad dree in. With a k spelling I'd pronounce it Kay dree in. Which is more like Adrienne. IMO.
Thats pretty too but i want her name with my first initial.
The only one that doesn't hurt my eyes is Cadrienne.
I know i asked for your opinion but no need to be a rude bitch about it tbh your fucking face hurts my eyes.get off my post. Bye and t.y. Not going to respond again to your negativity.im done.

Wow, no need to resort to profanity. She offered her opinion, and YOU are the one calling her nasty names. Who's the one being negative????

pot, meet kettle.
In other news, I don't see how people can really mess up the pronunciation of cadrienne, its no different than Adrienne, except with a C in front of it. Im still not sure how the middle name is supposed to be pronounced, but I guess the middle name isn't ever really used much anyway, right?
btw @demodoll I love your pics and think you and the baby are gorgeous. keep doin what ya do!
Awe feeling the love! Thanks Hun! This is the second attack I've had on my face so I was starting to wonder if I should cover it with a brown bag, I'm surprised I even got KU, twice now!!
OP, I wasn't trying to be rude at all. The names were really hard to me to figure out how to pronounce except for the first one, which I honestly think is really pretty. The "hurts my eye" comment is widely used when talking about baby names on TB, shrugs shoulders. I have always been nice to you in every single thread but I get that names are a super touchy subject. Sorry if I hurt your feelings, are we good now?

Before in my post I was really trying hard to be polite. But since you aren't being polite, I will be honest. Your name sucks. We are all very politely trying to tell you that. kthanksbye
@ poru i could care less but thanks fir your opinion

I picked Caydrian just because it's easier to read than the other spelling. While it's unique and cute, the way to say/pronounce the name is much easier to identify by using Caydrian rather than Cadrienne. You will see that people will pronounce it the way you indend with the Cay rather than just the Ca. By looking at Cadrienne I immediately say it as "cad-ree-n". Which might lead to many issues when the child goes to school (reading aloud attendance) or on documents and forms.
