Re: Introductions!
we found out on Christmas Eve morning. I had spent a week straight with constipation and when my period didn’t start on the 20th. I simply had a hunch and took the at home test. Did a follow up test on the 27th and just for safety measure a third on New Year’s Day.
EDD/ weeks + days: September 10th
EDD Sept 18 - 4 weeks today
Found out: at home test - I tested early just out of habit and was shocked when it was actually positive.
1st appointment - Feb 6
I’m a freelance web developer and life insurance agent, and amateur baker. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a 12yo boy from a previous relationship and a wonderful husband who puts up with all my shenanigans.
STM - but it’s been so long since my first that it feels like I’m completely starting over.
So far major bloating and gas. I’m always hungry but then feel disgustingly full after 2 bites. And occasional nausea but it hasn’t been as bad as my first so far.
Found out: at home at 8DPO, I use natural cycles and even though it was before the first day of my period it advised I test so I did and here we are!!
First Appt: had my first physical with my GP, but my first ultrasound is Jan 24, and first midwife appt is Feb 1.
About me: I'm a business advisor for a health and wellness company. In my spare time I love to read, and spend time at the cottage. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and together for 10 (high school sweethearts).
I'm a first time mom and super excited!
My main symptoms as of now are severe fatigue, breast tenderness, and nausea has started.
i missed my period and took a test, double dark lines!

this is my 3rd! Unexpected 🤣
about me: I have been married 13 years. I’m a director and live in Florida and spend my time in the ocean and springs 🏝️ ☀️🌊
I am feeling tired and certain smells/ taste are starting to bother me. Happened with my other 2 pregnancies as well.
I’m 4 weeks today and just found out this morning.
We have been trying for 20 years and this is our first positive test. (Home digital). We go in for blood test on the 16th to confirm with the lab.
We have two beautiful children through adoption - they are 16 and 10 years old….. one dog, two cats, and a tank full of fish.
I’m 42 and work in police support services. Hubby works in non profit.
I feel a bit crampy, have to pee every five minutes, and cry at the drop of an hat. Oh and I feel old!!
Tested faint line at 9 dpo
1st appointment is Jan. 16
I’m 36 with an 18 year old and I had a miscarriage in early 2018.
My husband and I married on September 1st. In November we decided to drop birth control and start trying. I was SHOCKED to get a positive so soon. I’m very excited and incredibly anxious.
Blessings to all our little September babies!
Hello
EDD/ weeks + days: September 5/2 weeks today
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): spouse ( married October 2023)
EDD/ weeks + days: September 18th
TW***
I was very anxious for my US today because last pregnancy I found out at that appointment that development wasn't happening. So right now I am so incredibly relieved to have seen everything growing well and a heart rate of 128 bpm.
**End TW.
Otherwise, nausea here and there, breast tenderness, fatigue, all the stereotypical symptoms lol
hi everyone! My EDD is Sept 2. I found out early using a First Response test at 3w6days. My first scan is tomorrow Jan 16 for a 7week ultrasound as I miscarried the month prior to this pregnancy (at 5w) and my doc wants me to have one early. I also get to connect with my midwives for the first time this Wednesday Jan 17 which I am really looking forward to!
Physically, I am starting to feel the naseau (not terrible yet just constant underlying mild naseau), and definitely feeling the sensitivity and upsizing of my boobs 😂
P.S. Anyone else feel like they might be carrying twins at this early juncture? Based on my body's reaction, I'm very suspicious!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I have been severely bloated for days and crampy with lower back pain. I vomited the night before I tested. I am overjoyed but also nervous due to my previous loss. Praying for sticky babies for all of us!
Tested faint line at 12 days post ovulation
1st appointment is january 31st.
I’m 35 and have three other children- 6 year old girl, 3 year old boy, 2 year old girl
Im a nurse at a local hospital and we have two huskies that are my grumpy old men. I enjoy step class, spin, podcasts, and real housewives is my guilty pleasure!
The decision to have a fourth was really difficult but we had a surprise pregnancy back in october that ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks. After that experience i knew i really wanted another baby. So our first month trying to my surprise i am pregnant. Im anxious on many different levels. How will i juggle it all? Will this be a healthy pregnancy? This is also my first “geriatric” pregnancy.. And of course i tested positive for covid this week…
Send me your good vibes because i need them!!
I am 31 & currently in my first year of dental hygiene school & was not planning to get pregnant but here we are 🙃 my partner & I were very surprised to say the least. But we are are excited & happy to meet our little one ❤️

EDD- September 6, 2024
Weeks + Days - 6 + 6
How you found out- My wife and I took a pregnancy test and found out on the morning of the first! It felt like such a beautiful new beginning! This was our third cycle of IUI.
1st appointment date - February 6, feels like a whole world away!
Tell us about yourself-
My wife and I married in the summer of 2022 and have been trying since the fall of that year using a known donor (we are a same-sex couple). I have two children I carried from a previous marriage that are 10 and 13 that my wife just adopted as her own. 🥹
We have a big pup and love to be outdoors and go on adventures as a family. Our kids have been a part of the conversation around expanding our family but we will be telling them after our first appointment (in an attempt to protect them, should anything happen). They are going to be so excited!
My wife is a Graduate Gemologist and private Jeweller. I am a master’s student studying group dynamics and will graduate this spring.
My wife is a first time pregnant mom, but an incredible mom to our kids.
She’s been so lucky! Some heart burn but no nausea, sore breasts but no spotting or cramping. So far so good :-)
Hi all!
EDD/ weeks + days: EDD Sept. 4 ; 7 wks + 1 day today
How you found out: My husband and I have been trying for baby #2 since last May. I had been obsessively checking via pregnancy tests after every ovulation cycle
1st appointment date: January 22
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Hubby and I are both 27. We had our daughter at 22. Our little girl has been begging for a sibling for a year now and we started to try last May, had a missed miscarriage in August. Our baby (I have a feeling it was a boy) stopped developing around 7 1/2 weeks, doctors detected it around week 11 and by body miscarried at the 12th week. We’ve been trying since then, finally got my positive the 28th of December after PRAYING to end the year with this.
FTM/STM/TTM+:
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): Hardly any symptoms, you wouldn’t even be able to tell I’m pregnant. I worry about that since the symptoms hit right away with my last two. We will see what the doctors say next week *fingers crossed*
EDD/ weeks + days: Due Sept 16 / 5w4d
How you found out: My period was a day late and I found a test in my bathroom.
1st appointment date: Feb 22
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? I have 2 boys - 4 and 2 years old. No pets… contemplating getting the boys a bunny. I am a real estate agent.
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Love doing anything outside with the kids. Love yoga and Pilates… trying to stay active despite this fatigue. My husband works as a courier.
FTM/STM/TTM+: This my 4th pregnancy. I have 2 boys and had a blighted ovum.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I’m still in shock. This wasn’t planned. Still processing. We weren’t planning on having more kids. I’m mostly tired, a bit moody and craving carbs.
Wishing everyone a easy and healthy pregnancy ❤️
looking forward to starting this journey with you all ❤️
Happy to be back here, I was in the October 2021 Group last time.
Best of luck to everyone!
How
you found out: my period started spotting so went to a clinic
1st appointment date: February 12th
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Army girl with a fiancé, he has a child already so he’s not worried but I’m stressed. I like traveling
FTM/STM/TTM+:FTM
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I’m tired almost every time I take a seat somewhere, headaches randomly, kinda scared of the possible things that can go wrong so anxiety is very HIGH. Constipation has been a problem before so it’s worse now, stomach pains on my left side near my hip, boobs hurt and stomach bloated
Very tierd, anxious, some nausea but no vomiting. I've been very down too. I'm super excited to be pregnant and have a baby, but for some reason I've just been super sad. My husband's been trying to support me and cheer me up, but nothing seems to work. Just sad. I think part of it is that it doesn't feel real yet. I doubt it will until my first appointment.
