  • My EDD is September 3rd. I’m super excited, my dad’s birthday is September 1st

we found out on Christmas Eve morning. I had spent a week straight with constipation and when my period didn’t start on the 20th. I simply had a hunch and took the at home test. Did a follow up test on the 27th and just for safety measure a third on New Year’s Day.

    1st appointment is January 30th

Assuming FTM standards for first time mom, this is a sorta. I’m a stepmom right now. This is second pregnancy. The first I lost about 10 weeks. I guess that’s a STM?

How am I feeling? Hungry, bloated, constipated, tired and good god my nipples! They are marble hard.
Besides all of the above. I’m excited to see if this is 1 baby or more inside causing chaos.
  • Hi everyone :)

    EDD/ weeks + days: September 10th

How you found out: We were trying to conceive for 4 months so I tested when I missed my period, super boring!

1st appointment date: February 6th, It seems so far away.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am a middle school teacher, and I live with my husband and our dog who is 2 years old. My dog is being super snuggly and protective of me already, it is the best.

FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM - this is my first time getting pregnant, and I am anxious to see if the baby is healthy, and for all of the horror stories about childbirth.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I feel fine, but my boobs are super sore, and I am slightly bloated. No nausea or other symptoms at this time.
  • Hi!!! Excited to be here!

    EDD Sept 18 - 4 weeks today

Found out: at home test - I tested early just out of habit and was shocked when it was actually positive.

    1st appointment - Feb 6

I’m a freelance web developer and life insurance agent, and amateur baker. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a 12yo boy from a previous relationship and a wonderful husband who puts up with all my shenanigans.

STM - but it’s been so long since my first that it feels like I’m completely starting over.

So far major bloating and gas. I’m always hungry but then feel disgustingly full after 2 bites. And occasional nausea but it hasn’t been as bad as my first so far.
  • EDD: Sept 8th - 5W3D today

Found out: at home at 8DPO, I use natural cycles and even though it was before the first day of my period it advised I test so I did and here we are!!

First Appt: had my first physical with my GP, but my first ultrasound is Jan 24, and first midwife appt is Feb 1.

About me: I'm a business advisor for a health and wellness company. In my spare time I love to read, and spend time at the cottage. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and together for 10 (high school sweethearts).

I'm a first time mom and super excited!

My main symptoms as of now are severe fatigue, breast tenderness, and nausea has started.
  • EDD/ weeks + days: Sept 24, 3 weeks

How you found out: just got my faint line today! We were actively trying, so I've been waiting very impatiently

    FTM/STM/TTM+: 5tm

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): Starting to feel a little lethargy and slight cramping. • hi everyone! My EDD is Sept 2. I found out early using a First Response test at 3w6days. My first scan is tomorrow Jan 16 for a 7week ultrasound as I miscarried the month prior to this pregnancy (at 5w) and my doc wants me to have one early. I also get to connect with my midwives for the first time this Wednesday Jan 17 which I am really looking forward to!

I am 31 years old, a clinical counsellor living in British Columbia, Canada. This will be my first child. I have a boisterous rescue dog and a wonderful husband. We love to hike, read, cycle, do yoga, spend time with friends and family. I am always undergoing further training in treating trauma in psychotherapy as well.

Physically, I am starting to feel the naseau (not terrible yet just constant underlying mild naseau), and definitely feeling the sensitivity and upsizing of my boobs 😂
Emotionally I am cautious until I learn from my scan how things are going but I’m focusing on trusting my body and believing in this pregnancy 💛 lots of love to you all!!
  • EDD/ weeks + days: September 2 (literally Labor Day...) 7+0

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I had a bad bout of nausea and frequent urination week 4 with insane smell, had a nice reprieve week 5. Week 6 has not been nice to me, and I'm back to frequent nausea and fatigue. I'm finding it hard to eat, so I've lost a few pounds. Just looking forward to getting positive news on Friday!

P.S. Anyone else feel like they might be carrying twins at this early juncture? Based on my body's reaction, I'm very suspicious!
  • Hey ladies!

Hi! Nice to "meet" you all.

    EDD/ weeks + days: Sept 20/4 weeks 6 days

How you found out: home pregnancy test yesterday

1st appointment date: 2/1 including ultrasound

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I'm 34 and my partner is 32. I have a 6 year old from a previous relationship. He will be 7 in April. This will be my partner's first child. I had a mmc in January 2019 at 8 weeks and my ex and I struggled with secondary infertility for 2 years after that. I'm a middle school Latin teacher and ebay/Poshmark seller. I have been with my current partner for a year now and we are both very excited to start our family. We are planning a very small intimate wedding soon. I just went off of bc in November so we could start trying. I didn't expect it to happen so fast but I am glad it did!!

FTM/STM/TTM+: this is my 3rd pregnancy. Hopefully 2nd live birth.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I have been severely bloated for days and crampy with lower back pain. I vomited the night before I tested. I am overjoyed but also nervous due to my previous loss. Praying for sticky babies for all of us!
  • Congratulations! I also did IVF ! Found out I am pregnant on Jan 15. I totally understand the nervousness. Stay strong my follow IVF warrior 💗🍍
  •  EDD: september 18th

The decision to have a fourth was really difficult but we had a surprise pregnancy back in october that ended in a miscarriage at 7 weeks. After that experience i knew i really wanted another baby. So our first month trying to my surprise i am pregnant. Im anxious on many different levels. How will i juggle it all? Will this be a healthy pregnancy? This is also my first “geriatric” pregnancy.. And of course i tested positive for covid this week…

    EDD- September 6, 2024
    Weeks + Days - 6 + 6

1st appointment date - February 6, feels like a whole world away!

    Tell us about yourself-

My wife and I married in the summer of 2022 and have been trying since the fall of that year using a known donor (we are a same-sex couple). I have two children I carried from a previous marriage that are 10 and 13 that my wife just adopted as her own. 🥹
We have a big pup and love to be outdoors and go on adventures as a family. Our kids have been a part of the conversation around expanding our family but we will be telling them after our first appointment (in an attempt to protect them, should anything happen). They are going to be so excited!

My wife is a Graduate Gemologist and private Jeweller. I am a master’s student studying group dynamics and will graduate this spring.

My wife is a first time pregnant mom, but an incredible mom to our kids.

She’s been so lucky! Some heart burn but no nausea, sore breasts but no spotting or cramping. So far so good :-)
  • Hi all!

    EDD/ weeks + days: EDD Sept. 4 ; 7 wks + 1 day today

How you found out: My husband and I have been trying for baby #2 since last May. I had been obsessively checking via pregnancy tests after every ovulation cycle

    1st appointment date: January 22

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): Hubby and I are both 27. We had our daughter at 22. Our little girl has been begging for a sibling for a year now and we started to try last May, had a missed miscarriage in August. Our baby (I have a feeling it was a boy) stopped developing around 7 1/2 weeks, doctors detected it around week 11 and by body miscarried at the 12th week. We’ve been trying since then, finally got my positive the 28th of December after PRAYING to end the year with this.

    FTM/STM/TTM+:

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): Hardly any symptoms, you wouldn’t even be able to tell I’m pregnant. I worry about that since the symptoms hit right away with my last two. We will see what the doctors say next week *fingers crossed*

    FTM/STM/TTM+:(idk what this means lol)

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): I feel pretty decent! No nausea or heartburn yet. I’ve been living it up with the pizza and ice cream because last time I had to not eat that for several months or I’d have bad heartburn. Definitely some cramping which are not my fave because they stress me out a little. A little bloated but lol not surprised.
  • EDD/ weeks + days: I’m 7 weeks and 5 days, due 9/1

How you found out: we stopped preventing 12/1 and I  took a test on Christmas Eve because I felt “off” and sure enough- positive!

    FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally):
Very tierd, anxious, some nausea but no vomiting. I've been very down too. I'm super excited to be pregnant and have a baby, but for some reason I've just been super sad. My husband's been trying to support me and cheer me up, but nothing seems to work. Just sad. I think part of it is that it doesn't feel real yet. I doubt it will until my first appointment.
