How
you found out: was overly snappy and easily irritated so I took a test for shits and giggles. Didn’t have to wait 2 or 5 minutes for it to turn bright positive.

How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally): This pregnancy totally took us by surprise. We were not trying but we also weren’t preventing very well either. This past year was not great to us, so finding out we are pregnant just 3 days into the new year was a jolt. I’ve been having some complications since I found out I was pregnant. Was spotting at first, went to ER HcG was checked, was told I had low levels of HcG at 500 and was given an ultrasound but wasn’t shown anything. It’s been a whirlwind of emotions this pregnancy, definitely different than my last pregnancies. I’ve never had this many issues so early on before.
I’m sorry you’re feeling sad— I feel sad too.. if it interrupts your life may be worth it to talk to your doctor about prenatal depression. I already knew I struggled with depression before I got pregnant but I noticed my depression/sadness also got a lot worse after I got pregnant lol.. wishing you warm and healthy energy ❤️ know you’re not alone
Hey all! I am a TTM and have used this community throughout both of my precious pregnancies! My oldest is turning 8 this summer and my second is turning 4 next month.
According to the app my EDD is September 25.
How you found out: I’m about 4 days late on my very regular period. Took two expired pregnancy tests that said not pregnant, but over this coming weekend I’ll take a fresher one 😅 I’m super early on and could possibly be wrong, but I’m trying to get into the mindset of having a third after trying for 8 months!
1st appointment date: Next Wednesday 😁
Tell us about yourself: I am a stay at home mom with the hobbies that traditionally “come with it.” I love sewing, baking, gardening, and cooking my family meals from scratch. My goal is to be as self sufficient as possible. I’m also a chicken mom to 6 lovely ladies and one rooster. I was 18 when I had my first, and in a rough spot when I had my second, so I’m extremely excited that I could potentially be having a baby at what I consider the most peaceful time of my life. I feel like I’m no longer in survival mode and can thoroughly enjoy motherhood without the added stresses life can sometimes bring. My husband works and is gone 10 hrs a day 5 days a week. He works very hard to give me and his step sons a very happy life. We have a significant age gap between ourselves so while he’s very excited, it’s a bit daunting for him.
How are you feeling : Very agitated 🤣 My patience has been a little thin lately but I’m able to see it and tone it down or just distance myself for a second.
I’m so excited to get to know you ladies and go through our pregnancies together! I hope I don’t offend anyone by jumping the gun when nothing is confirmed, but I don’t see any other reason why my period would be late. If you’ve read this far thanks!
How
you found out: I didn’t replace my arm implant when I was supposed to… we were on vacation when I was supposed to get my period, but didn’t! Found out when we got home… was about 4w, 5d when I took the test.
1st appointment date: Feb 12

Hi everyone! My name is Bethany, and I joined this forum in 2015 when I was pregnant with my son, Tristan. I am 24 weeks pregnant with my second baby, another boy! I had my IUD removed at the end of 2022 and have been using the Premom app to track my cycles and test for my ovulation. I had a chemical pregnancy (positive test with a miscarriage before 5 weeks) just a month later and again in September 2023. I learned I was pregnant this time around on 1/3/2024 on 10 DPO.
My partner and I are not married, and he is not the father to my first, but we have known each other for 10+ years since we were in high school, and it was always the "wrong place at the wrong time" until we finally got it right in 2020. He was the one who got my son and me through his rough years in 4K and kindergarten, learning his ABCs and how to read, etc... He has been such a great father figure towards my son, and the way he treats me and this baby during this pregnancy makes me fall in love with him more every day.
This pregnancy has been a breeze, much like my first, aside from finally getting a baby bump this past month and really feeling it in my back and pelvis. I can hardly roll over in bed anymore from the pain, and I try to stay on my feet to be active, but I am enrolled in an LPN program full-time, so sitting in class all day or driving while commuting to school makes me want to cry sometimes. :') Any methods you mamas use to alleviate this pressure would be a godsend.
Wishing you all a healthy rest of your pregnancy, and we are almost through it!
I took a home test and found out. But, I think in the back of my mind I knew I could've been pregnant. Around xmas eve 2023 was when i felt slightly nauseous.
1st appointment was feb 8th. You can see that it was the size of a gummy bear lol
I have a great husband. We've been married for 5 years, dated for 17 years since high school. This is our first child together. And we're both nervous and just can't wait to see how she looks when she arrives. I took a year off from work, I didn't like the job I was at, hopefully after the baby, I can find a new job.
I'm feeling more tired and now that I'm in my second trimester, the baby bump is huge. It's hard to get any sleep and get comfortable. Every night, is always four hours max of sleeping. Then, I can feel her kicking all through the night and into the morning. She's a kicker. I try to nap throughout the day. But, that never seems to happen.
Good luck to all the moms! I hope the delivery is smooth sailing and fast recovery ❤️
