How you found out: IVF so we found out a few weeks ago after our beta. We had our first ultrasound at 7 weeks yesterday!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are big sports fans, and we have a chocolate lab named Luna. We try to stay active and spend time outside.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? My symptoms come and go (sore breasts, slight nausea in the morning/after eating, and SO tired) so that makes me nervous, but the ultrasound gave me some slight sense of relief yesterday.
How you found out: felt extra moody so i took a test and it was +
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) i have 3 kids- 9,4,1 and i am a SAHM. Have a small pup and I like to hang out by our pool and make frozen margs 😆
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nauseas, moody, stressed
Same here with the hunger. Hungry all the freaking time, especially when I’m so tired and want to sleep or nap but can’t rest because I’m too hungry it’s like I haven’t ate the entire day even if I just ate 2 or 3 hours prior 🥲 so annoying haha
How you found out: I was bloated for a week straight which has never happened before, very itchy breasts, peeing more frequently, and I was sleeping way more than usual. On the day of my period I decided to take a PT and it came out negative. Tried again 4 days later after I was feeling nauseous and vomited.. took the electronic one and it says YES+. Looked back at the first one I did that had the line.. an extra line appeared much later than it was supposed to but it was there.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am 29 and this will be my first. I have a 4 year old dog (corgi.) I house-sit/pet-sit for a living since I am disabled and can’t work most jobs. I am going to be a single mom.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I have chronic pain and fatigue with my medical conditions already so it’s hard to tell if it’s the pregnancy or my pre-existing conditions causing the symptoms but I have noticed my pre-existing nausea that came and went before I was pregnant is now all day and every day and I vomit more frequently. My daily chronic migraines have been more intense, and my back pain is worse so I have an even harder time sleeping. Emotionally I am trying to be strong but I am stressed and worried about what the future holds.
Had a mammogram appointment and before I went to it I decided to take test just to be sure. And there was the positive. Shocked. Surprised. Not planned. Totally unexpected. I'm 39, 40 in Dec and this is my first pregnancy. I'm still in shock!
Hi Everyone! I'm excited to have found this community.
Due date: March 24th
How you found out: I knew within the first two weeks of pregnancy due to extreme breast tenderness. I tested 5 days before my estimated period date, and it was positive.
Tell us about yourself: I'm a 34 y/o UX designer living in Toronto, Canada. I work in the luxury fashion market. My husband and I decided to start trying earlier this year. Our main goal in life for the last 4-5 years was to travel as much as possible.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I'm nervous and anxious about the big change. I overwhelmed myself by listening to pregnancy podcasts nonstop in the first few weeks. My main symptom is severe fatigue. Instead of morning sickness, I have an increased appetite and have gained 10lbs+ already.
Hello, I am hopping on over from the February board since we only have 4-5 active members.
Due date: 2/24
How you found out: I knew basically as soon as implantation happened. Somehow it felt exactly like with my first baby. I took tests until I got a clear positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 32, I have an 18 month old who was born at 29 weeks due to preeclampsia and had a lot of medical issues in the first year of her life. But she is doing great now and has far surpassed all her doctors' expectations for her. I'm hoping for a full term pregnancy this time around. I work in a treatment program in a prison and for fun I like to do outdoors things. I had just started getting the energy to have adventures again after my first and then I got pregnant with this one.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I had some pretty rough nausea/food aversions/fatigue in the first trimester. I'm feeling better now most days but I still have some weird aversions and random nausea.
Hello! Another February transplant! Thank you to @hedgepig for inviting us!
Due date - 2/16 but I’ll have a repeat C section the week before.
How you found out - I have zero chill when TTC. I start testing from 9dpo
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 35 and mom to two boys 6.5 and nearly 4. Before having kids I was a molecular biologist. I enjoy crafty things (sewing, knitting, crocheting). I wouldn’t say I love running but use running to help keep my anxiety more manageable. My husband and I are high school sweet hearts. Next march we hit 20 years together and then May will be 15 years of marriage.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I felt really gross during 1st trimester. My nausea has improved a lot but my fatigue is still out of control. ***TW previous losses and potential heart defect *** I’m having a bit of a hard time emotionally. This is my 7th pregnancy for hopefully our 3rd child. I had two missed miscarriages in 2015 before our first son, and I had two more early losses (5 and 6 weeks) this past year while trying for our 3rd. At 13 weeks and 15 weeks we saw MFM specialist for a cystic hygroma, and at this point our most likely scenario is that this baby has a heart defect but we won’t know more until our fetal echo in October.
Also joining from the February Club- Thanks for making it happen, @hedgepig and @dinomeetsjedi - I'm excited to have an active group!
Due date: Feb 26
How you found out: I'd been having waves of nausea since 6dpo, so I tested the day I was supposed to get my period on a whim. I got a faint positive, so that night, I bought a digital test and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I got married in August 2022 and have been trying since November. We work together in the ag industry and have two dogs and a cat. This will be our first child!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I had terrible nausea, insomnia and headaches my first trimester. I also have ADHD and took stimulants daily to help my focus and work performance. Being off of them, and off caffeine, AND feeling extra tired was VERY rough. Things have seemed to improve in the last few weeks, so overall we are just super super excited!!!
Another February transplant, and on the earlier side (so I may even belong in January, haha). Thanks for the invite to join. This is my first, so it's nice to be part of an active group!
Due date: 4 February 2024
How you found out: We'd been trying
for a couple of cycles, but then I came down with COVID a few days
before ovulation, so I thought we'd missed our window for the month! But
then I was feeling a bit off the week before my period, and some pains
that made me worried about an ectopic prompted me to test the day my
period was due. Astonishingly, it was positive! Followed up with HCG
blood test five days later, and it was at a very encouraging level for 4
weeks.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things
you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I'm 37 and this is my first human child, but we have a
one-year-old fluffy black cat named Lina. My husband and I are both
academics, and I work on climate change and food/agriculture
sustainability.
How are you feeling (any symptoms,
Emotionally)? Finally emerging from the nausea of T1, and generally feeling pretty good. I have low blood pressure, so that's been a bit more pronounced now, and I feel even more tired than in did in the first trimester (might go take a cheaky nap now...)
Welcome Feb folks! I'm glad to have you here - it's better for everyone to have a more active board! Please feel free to jump in, or make new threads - you're one of us now!

Hello friends. Another Feb transplant here. Possibly even late January but we'll see. Thanks again for having us.
Due date: Feb 7
How you found out: we'd been trying for a few months and so I tested literally the first day my period was supposed to start.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Um well let's see. I'm 36, my husband and I have been married for six years (together for... 14? I think?) and we have a three year old. I have an old man cat that loves to be up in your business all the time. I'm pretty boring, I like to read, I make and sell jewelry, and spend far too much time on my phone.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Physically I'm finally feeling more normal. I was struggling with headaches for a few weeks after I hit the second trimester but it's finally leveling off. Now it's just dealing with all the weird symptoms like tons of dreams, waking to pee constantly, night sweats, gum bleeding etc.Emotionally I'm struggling with body image as I'm plus sized to start and this pregnancy is just making me look and feel fat. But overall doing okay.
My husband and I were visiting his family in Michigan, and I wanted to have an adult beverage with dinner. We’d been trying for a couple of months so we wanted to test before I did that. Surprise it was positive! We were both shocked.
This is our first child so all new for both of us. I was a labor and delivery nurse for 5 years so I have a good idea of what to expect in March, but all this early stuff is so foreign to me. We’re up in Little Elm, TX, and now I work at a school as a school nurse and love it.
So far I’m feeling great (besides all the first trimester sickness and fatigue). I feel constantly nervous that something could go wrong, but I think that’s a pretty normal feeling.
How I found out: My husband and I were TTC for 2 months. Tested two days before my expected period and it was positive.
About me: I'm 40 y.o., married, with a 3 y.o. daughter and a 13 y.o. miniature schnauzer. I work in asset management and spend my freetime either chasing a toddler or tending to my plants/garden.
How am I feeling: Bloated, exhausted, heightened smelling ability, and constantly queasy. I'm currently 11 weeks and it's a STRUGGLE to make it through the day. I also feel like I need to break out the maternity clothes already (likely more due to me snacking to avoid full out nausea/vomiting than the baby). On the positive side, my nails look fab; super strong and long. Can't wait for 2nd trimester!!!!!
Hi! My name is A’me and I am 29 and this is my first baby!
Due date: March 16th
How you found out: i though I was just expecting my period a lil earlier than usual. Tender breasts was the main thing I was feeling. Then as I got closer to my actual period time I was nauseous all the time. Sent triggered. Missed period. Took a test and yay expecting our first baby. I think it’s safe to say we had too much fun on our Scandinavian vacation.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) i am married have a step son and two cats!! I am a hairstylist!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? emotionally I am feeling a lot. Happy that my nausea has calmed down and it’s not as common anymore but I’m still just always so tired lol lots of naps inbetween my clients lol
How you found out: My fiancé was suspicious and suggested I take a test. He knew before I even missed my period, ha.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My fiance has an 8 year old son. I’ve just got my big goofy doggo, Chief. And I am a newly admitted attorney.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: I’m 15 weeks now so I’m feeling pretty good!! I’m feeling like a normal human being - for the most part lol. The first trimester was rufffff. That morning sickness whooped my butt.
Due date: 2/29 and I've also got 3/2 from a different provider
How you found out: I had a 2nd miscarriage and was visiting my OB 4 weeks after to get bloodwork done to figure out the cause. She asked if I had got my period yet and I told her no. She had me do a urine test and BAM, my husband and I found out we were pregnant again right there in the office. She immediately started me on progesterone and aspirin which has seemed to help because I'm 18+4, the furthest along I've ever got! All of my bloodwork came back normal too so not sure the cause of my previous miscarriages.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I'm a physical therapist, I work in a hospital and recently started working in our outpatient center. I'm going to get certified in November to do women's health/pelvic health so I can help mamas in the future. I have another job that involves working with my siblings for a family business we have that involves taking care of elderly people. I have no children. I have a very energetic and affectionate dog named Murphy, he's a poodle and wheaton terrier mix. I like cooking, traveling, decorating, swimming, snowboarding, reading (Emily Henry books and Outlander right now) and watching rom-coms and trashy reality TV (golden bachelor and bachelor in paradise right now). I love the holiday season and I love Harry Potter... My husband and I have a Harry Potter marathon through the holiday season and I can't wait to start. I have a husband who I've been with for 8 years, married for 3. He's a sweetheart and I love him.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: I feel EMOTIONAL, tired, achy and excited right now. The first trimester sucked, so I'm feeling much better now. I've been having weird pregnancy dreams weekly where my husband leaves me... Hopefully that lovely new symptom goes away soon. I'm a little stressed because my husband and I are staying with my mom while our house gets some work done. Our family business is ran out of my mom's house. I'm more introverted and work a lot, so when I get to relax at "home," my siblings show up and make it hard to relax. I'm excited to move back into our house and get some needed space.
Hello! Was in the February group, but hadn’t really been active and saw people hopped over here and I’ve definitely been realizing lately I can use some extra support!
Due date: February 5th
How you found out: our first cycle trying and j was late so I took a test while my husband was on a bachelor party so me and my dog sat around for 3 days til he got back with the big news 😂
Tell us about yourself - my husband and I both work in healthcare in NC and we’ve a 7 year old pitbull named Chloe. This is our first!
How are you feeling: since being in second trimester, nausea has been pretty much gone and I feel like myself physically, however in general just more anxious, emotionally drained, some days on edge and just trying to find ways to manage this feeling.
Hi everyone! Late to the game, but so glad to be here!
Due date: March 28
How you found out: My partner was out on tour with his band, but before they left he had a dream I was pregnant. I took a test a few days early and then everyday for a week and they all came back positive. (I was in shock.)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a tortie cat (she’s my first baby from college, she’s 12). I’m 33 and work on a produce/flower farm and my boyfriend is a musician! This is our first pregnancy.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am feeling so very tired, but much less in the second trimester. I have developed a ‘dgaf’ intuitive attitude that I am attributing to becoming a mother. I am excited and nervous and curious!
Hi everyone I’m coming over here since the February 2024 group isn’t very active due date: February 28
How you found out:
My husband and I had been trying for about 4 months. But during the month I got pregnant I quit tracking my ovulation with test strips and said whatever happens happens. One day I was going about the day and realized I was late then a few days later remembered to go buy a test and it was positive! 2 days after my positive test my extreme pregnancy sickness started and showed it’s ugly face just like with my first.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am a SAHM to my June 2021 daughter. I was working part time on the dairy farm where my husband works and was able to bring my daughter to work with me until I became very sick with this pregnancy. As I mentioned, my husband works on a dairy farm in New York State. (Our milk goes to Chobani to be made into yogurt if there are any other Chobani yogurt fans here) We were both raised on farms (my husband in NY and myself in WI) and love that we get to raise our family in production agriculture around dairy cows. We have a 6 year old golden doodle who is a saint with our toddler. I enjoy being outside, baking, working with our dairy cattle that we show, spending time with family, and traveling when we can get away from the farm.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? With my first I had HG, I have it again this time around. I got to be excited and not sick about this pregnancy for 2 days between positive test and getting sick. The beginning was miserable and I was really struggling mentally and emotionally because nothing was working to stop my vomiting and I had no appetite/strong aversions. I tried many different prescription, OTC, and at home remedies that didn’t work and just wanted the meds that I knew worked with my first. I was trying to take care of my toddler but honestly couldn’t take care of myself. I finally got a prescription for zofran at about 10 weeks after landing myself in the ER for fluids a weeks earlier. I had been practically begging for zofran since week 6 or 7. I’m feeling very torn because I always wanted 3 or more children but with my first experience and now this one I’m grateful for the child I already have, and the one I’m carrying might have to complete our family.

Hi mamas!

- my husband and I both work in healthcare in NC and we’ve a 7 year old pitbull named Chloe. This is our first!
How are you feeling: since being in second trimester, nausea has been pretty much gone and I feel like myself physically,
however in general just more anxious, emotionally drained, some days on edge and just trying to find ways to manage this feeling.
Due date: March 28
How you found out: My partner was out on tour with his band, but before they left he had a dream I was pregnant. I took a test a few days early and then everyday for a week and they all came back positive. (I was in shock.)

We have a tortie cat (she’s my first baby from college, she’s 12).
I am excited and nervous and curious!
due date: February 28
How you found out:
My husband and I had been trying for about 4 months. But during the month I got pregnant I quit tracking my ovulation with test strips and said whatever happens happens. One day I was going about the day and realized I was late then a few days later remembered to go buy a test and it was positive! 2 days after my positive test my extreme pregnancy sickness started and showed it’s ugly face just like with my first.
