I am a 39 yr old mother of 2, a 12 yr old daughter and a 9 yr old son. Whew I know the gap lol. I figured I was pregnant because of diarrhea, hightened sense of smell and frequent urination. Sure nuff I tested at home on Monday, and confirmed at the dr Wed. Roughly 3.5 weeks. I am due March 23rd
We reside in MD and love the great outdoors, carpool karaoke, and LIFE
How you found out: I was feeling a little off earlier this week so I tried an early response test on Sunday that had a faint line. The line’s been getting darker all week, and today I got my BFP!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?) I’m 36 and this is my first pregnancy, which is exciting/a little scary. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years and we have a soon-to-be 5 year old poodle who has had a ridiculous number of health issues over the years. My husband also has a host of health issues and chronic pain, so I’m crossing my fingers that everything goes well as we adjust to my pregnancy and then life with a newborn.
My husband is my co-worker; we work for his family’s insurance business, so I have a little more flexibility when it comes to balancing work and family. Outside of work I like to garden, paint along with YouTube watercolor tutorials, and read allllllll the fantasy and romance novels. 😅
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Symptoms-wise, I’ve been experiencing a little heartburn and some nausea. Emotionally I’m trying to focus on the positives and not panic about all of the things that could go wrong. Really trying to ground myself and enjoy the moment, which is easier said than done, lol.
I am 33 and found out last week after my period was late 6 days and I finally decided to take a test. My husband and I had literally just gotten married (and had an amazing wedding) 3 days prior! What a surprise!
Symptoms - VERY exhausted. I can sleep for 12 hours and still not feel like it’s enough. Nausea that comes and goes.
Trying very hard to keep my anxiety at bay. I had a blighted ovum pregnancy 5 years ago, but otherwise this is my first. I am praying for a healthy ultrasound on the 28th 🙏🏻❤️
Randomly took an at home pregnancy test 5 days ago and have had 2 blood tests to confirm since. Not even sure why I tested something just told me to test even though I was only 11dpo.
This will be my first baby- *tw:loss*….had a mc in September and had almost given up hope I would be able to get pregnant again. I have an amazing dog, Eno (boxer/shep mix) and the sassiest orange tiger cat, Waffles. I am a gardener by profession and love to get my hands dirty. My husband, Brian is the most loving, supportive partner I could ask for. We’ve been married 9 years but have been friends for over 20 years.
I enjoy hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, painting, singing, and watching movies.
Symptoms: Some nausea and vomiting, mostly just extremely tired. Sleeping at least 12 hours a night.
Due date: March 20th, according to the apps- just found out over the weekend so will call my Dr first thing on Monday!
How you found out: I was a little more tired than usual (no matter how much sleep I got, it was never enough), and then one day I just felt kind of 'blah' about food, like nothing sounded good even though I was starving! Very much not like me! So I decided to test not thinking it would be positive because we've been trying for a year and I hadn't ever gotten a positive. I was in complete disbelief! Still kind of am, tbh. I'm anxious to get in to my Dr office and have it confirmed! This is my first kid so I have no real idea what to expect.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm turning 35 this week (happy early birthday to me!). I'm a FTM and so thankful to be pregnant. My husband and I aren't animal people, so it's just the two of us for now. We like to be active and travel and we can't wait to have adventures with our little one!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? A little nauseous- I have a big fear of throwing up in general so I'm praying my nausea doesn't get too bad. I'm starving all the time but when I go to eat a meal I can only eat a few bites before I feel full/over it. I'm so excited but very anxious. I've been wanting to me a mom for so long!
Due date: March 20th according to apps, just found out on Friday so I’ll call the Dr for an appointment on Monday and hopefully will find out a more then.
How you found out: My husband and I have been TTC for 2 months but we didn’t work too hard on timing sex right the first month. I started testing as early as I could and had multiple negative tests, it was very disappointing. I was still waiting for my period and thought it was late due to stress. Took a test on the day of my expected period and it was negative. Then it was 2 days late and I expected it to arrive at any moment. We were about to go to a dinner on Friday where we might have wine so just on a whim I took a test right before the dinner and there was a faint line! When we got back I took a few more tests including a digital one, that I was thrilled said pregnant.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 33 years old. My husband and I have been married for one year as of July 10th. This is our first pregnancy/child. We have a kitty. I’m a special Ed teacher. I’m on summer vacation now. My husband is an engineer. I wanted to try to time getting pregnant to give birth in the spring to have maternity leave and then summer break next year to have the most amount of time off with the baby. I wasn’t sure how many months it would take TTC so I’m happy and excited the timing we wanted worked.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? The day I found out I was pregnant I woke up feeling very tired with sore breasts and I feel like they are a little bigger (they are on the smaller size to start.) No other symptoms. I did get nauseous and vomited on 4th of July but that might have been unrelated. Emotionally- I’m excited but mostly so anxious, nervous, and worried that I will miscarry. I normally have anxiety so I’m finding it hard to not worry. The night I found out I was pregnant I had such bad insomnia. Glad I have slept better since then. Also stressed because I’m a bit overweight before getting pregnant, which I know could cause risks. Also nervous because additional tests I’ve taken the lines are still very faint. My husband doesn’t want us to tell anyone until we have it confirmed by my OBGYN but I’m finding it hard to cope without talking to anyone. I’m thankful there is this space I can talk about it until then. If anyone has advice on how to stress less about potentially miscarrying I would love any advice. Hope you all have a great day! 👋🏻
How you found out: Aunt flow was running late so I took a test and it came back immediately positive. I was pretty sure I did something wrong so I waited a few hours and tried again, same result. Just in case I tried a third time the next morning. All glaringly positive after about 30 seconds.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my first pregnancy. I’m 36 and work as a Director of Food and Nutrition services for a school district. I have a dog (Harper) and two cats (Luna and Mia). My partner and I have only been dating for about 8 weeks. He works in security at a hospital. We haven’t even “defined the relationship” yet!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Symptoms: Peeing every 5 minutes, a few minor cramps, nausea, fatigue and heartburn. Emotionally: I think I’m still in a bit of shock. It doesn’t feel real to me yet. On one hand I’m really excited, I’ve always dreamed of having a baby! On the other hand I’m a little embarrassed- feeling like this is bad timing - and I’m really nervous about telling the father. I think he’s going to be excited, we’ve talked extensively about our desires to have children. But you just never know and I don’t want to botch the “how” part. I told my best friend and he jokingly suggested I just throw the positive test at him when he walks through the door! 🤣 I was thinking something more like a box wrapped up with a onesie, a book about what to expect for first time dads and maybe a couple other little filler things. Does that seem crazy? Too much? 🤷♀️🤦♀️ I’m also feeling a bit overwhelmed after scouring every inch of the internet for every piece of pregnancy advice I can find. There’s so much out there! I didn’t realize I needed to check my face wash ingredients.
How you found out: my spouse and I were trying. We used a test a couple of days before my expected period and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I live in San Francisco with my husband and bernedoodle. This is my first pregnancy! Love being around family and friends :)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m anxious, and definitely excited. It all feels a bit surreal? I’m feeling cramps and a small amount of nausea. As someone who never naps, I figured something was up when I came home from work and immediately fell asleep. 😅
Due date: March 23, but my family has a history of early delivery
How I found out: Just took a test this morning after spending a week developing symptom after symptom.
About me: Hi! Name’s Bri. 36 years old, married with a 7 year old son. No pets. Thankful for a relatively low stress, flexible job. I love reading, walking and eating, LOL.
How I’m feeling: AS I said, symptom after symptom piled up. Acne, then fatigue, then nausea, then bloating, then breast tenderness. Uncomfortable, but I’ll live. Non-physically, I’m a bit nervous. I had a first-term miscarriage a couple of months ago and am anxious about it happening again, especially since I’m considered geriatric now.
How you found out: woke up Friday morning feeling like someone punched me in the boob. Tested, didn't believe the test but I had a dr appt in the morning and showed her a pic of the test and she yelled "YEAH YOURE PREGNANT!" and, so, here we are :) :) :) :) :)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): We're planning for this to be our one and only kidlet. We're both 33, have dreams to move abroad (currently US), and our cat will make an excellent au pair (she's had lots of practice on us). I'm a serial hobbyist: camping, hiking, kayaking, crabbing, embroidery, archery, reading, kitchen-messing-upping.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? My stomach is lurching, my boobs hurt, I pee a lot. We're just really excited.
How you found out: Late visit from AF, first test was a dud so I tried a second, which was pos, but I was in disbelief, used a 3rd, also pos. Confirmed at the clinic yesterday
Tell us about yourself: My name is Sarah, I'm 27 y/o with a 5 y/o son. I work as a line cook at a local restaurant. My partner is 32 and works as a mechanic. I'm 6 weeks along and waiting until that first ultrasound appt before I make any announcements to family or friends.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I've had some minor cramping, which I don't remember from my first pregnancy, but seems to be normal as long as it isn't too bad. Light nausea, definitely increased appetite, LOL
Hi, Due date: thinking 3/16/24 based on pregnancy calculator Missed period on 7/10/23 if app right I’m married, been married a few years. This will be my first kid. I have a 4 year old dog. I work in the business area. I feel happy and many emotions. I’m lucky right now to have few and minor symptoms that go away. I like to walk, bike, run outside. We like to walk, explore/travel and see concerts. Talking on phone to nurses 8/8 then I’ll go from there
34, SF Bay Area. I work in Marketing for a local food company. Married for 3 years and have one dog.
First pregnancy
How I found out: Spotting during the TWW was my first clue. This all came as a shock because it was the first time we tried to conceive after many years (10+) struggling with Vaginismus. I got pregnant fast, which felt like a miracle because I was convinced I was infertile due to my condition. Now am staying cautiously optimistic as I make it through my first Trimester with all the typical symptoms. First appointment with OB is at the end of the month.
How you found out: We were TTC so I started testing at the beginning of last week, got first positive on 7/12.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm a 33 (34 next week) SAHM, with a 19 month old. I used to work in insurance prior to having my son. My husband is an HVAC Tech. We've been married for 4 years. We have 3 cats who have varying levels of patience for our son so I'm sure they'll be thrilled about a new baby 😆 We are very close with both sides of our immediate family so we've shared the news with parents and siblings.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I'm exhausted but I'm chasing a toddler around all day so that's nothing new. I'm also weening my son , he's down to one short nighttime feed before bed. Last month was my first period since getting pregnant with my son so I wasn't sure about how long it would take to conceive. My husband and I are thrilled but I'm also nervous as it is so early still , first dr appt isn't until 08/16
How you found out: Husband and I decided to try for baby #2 this past month. Felt like I was getting lightheaded easily when standing up, which was about my only symptom with my first. Took a test 7/1 and it was positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? A 2-year old and a 16-year old dog.
Job? Things you like to do? Formerly in HR management, currently a stay at home mom. Hobbies include photography, hiking, gardening, and embroidery.
How you found out: this will be baby #5 for me, so I felt round ligament pains and basically knew what was up. A test confirmed it
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets)? I have 4 older kids with my ex-husband; this will be my first child with my fiancé, and my youngest is 5 (so it’s been a minute since I did this!)
Job? Things you like to do? I’m a lawyer but have been a SAHM since my oldest was born almost 11 years ago. Was contemplating going back to work as my kids will all be in school full-time this year… but now it looks like I’ll be a SAHM a bit longer 😆
How are you feeling? Very ready for school to start. Tired, nauseous and dealing with 4 fighting kids most of the day. They start school in a couple weeks, though, so almost there!

Due date: 3/24/24 so just hitting 4 and 3 days? Have my first ob appt Aug 7th! Also my second time back in the boards!
How you found out: I just had a feeling considering we had a literal misunderstanding about “safe week” I literally could feel it happen 🤦🏽♀️ lol sure enough I tested and two positives!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? My name is Julia, just moved back to Texas from FL. We miss it terribly, but it definitely helps to have family close by and be able to help out. We have an 18m daughter who will be 2 in Jan before the 2nd one comes ! I’ve been with my fiancé ten years! Getting married finally next year ! I’m also a hair stylist 💕
Things you like to do? Used to love going to my mommy and me group activities and Disney. Now a days I like to sleep.. and try to binge my trash tv
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? The BLOAT is killing me. I didn’t have it with my first and not even my stretchy jeggings are comfy 😭 & tired, and the smells are hit or miss lately. I’m very sad I won’t have my OB from Florida. Also stressing is the fact that my sister is prego again as well, and our due dates are 2 weeks apart 😵💫 our first kiddos are 3 months apart
How you found out: tested early since we likely need progesterone support - was surprised to see a positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I are high school sweethearts and have 2 other kiddos DS1 (4) and DS2 (2). We have two cats who are super sweet to us and resigned to the kids 😉 I’m a teacher, so in summer break right now. In my free time, what little there is, I enjoy yoga, running, cooking, and knitting.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Still processing. This was hoped for but unexpected. Second beta came back today and we’ve more than doubled, so letting myself feel a little more excited!
Hi! My name is Ashley. I am due March 16th. After two miscarriages we decided to try IVF and got pregnant on our first round. My husband and I are very nervous and excited. We have our first ultrasound on Monday 7/24. They transferred two embryos so it could be twins! So far this pregnancy has been rough and we are just starting week 6. I have been constantly nauseous, my sense of smell is definitely heightened, I am exhausted. But I don’t care as long as I end up with a happy, healthy baby!
How you found out: I was a few days late and took the test. It was so faint but definitely looked positive, so I took another in the morning and confirmed it!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My name is Emily and I’m 32. I am almost a year and a half into remission from leukemia. Before each chemo treatment, I was given a shot to protect my ovaries and give us a chance to have kids again (I have an almost 5 year old little boy) but we’re told it would be difficult if not impossible for us to have children. We’re blessed to be on this pregnancy journey today! We also have a dog named Bear. I teach High School Spanish and love to cook, bake, hike, hunt, and all the things like that! I also recently took up finger knitting and love it! My husband and I are so very excited for this new bundle of joy!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m excited and overwhelmed all at the same time. I didn’t expect to get pregnant so easily with everything we’ve been told so we’re just praying everything goes well for the entirety of my pregnancy!
How I Found Out: I had been complaining about my boobs hurting all week and my husband looked at them and said “those are definitely bigger than normal.” Grabbed a test and was immediately positive, but it was also expired so I rushed to the store, got two more packs, came back, and they were still positive!
About Me: This will be our first! My husband is a chiropractor and I run the office. So far it’s just the two of us but we were already planning on hiring someone in the next couple months but now I guess we are DEFINITELY hiring someone in the next couple months😁 We love being out in nature, especially kayaking the rivers around us, and taking our dog for walks through the park behind our house.
Feeling: very excited!! I’m bursting at the seams to tell people but also nervous since this is our first pregnancy and it’s still so early
How you found out: I was feelimg bloated and boobs were hurting decided to take a pregnancy test out of curiosity and boom it was positive. We were/are in shock! We have a 5 year old found out about the new baby after his birthday. We are very excited got to hear the baby's heart beat which was the most amazing feeling since I had a miscarage last sept and didn't hear anything then.
How I found out: tested 11 days post trigger shot and saw the faintest line! Made my husband and best friend confirm and officially 8 weeks pregnant!
I’m a healthcare worker in NY and this will be my first baby. We have a dog and can’t wait to see them together. My husband and I have been married 1.5 years and can’t wait for this new part!
I’m nauseous on and off and panicking every time I don’t feel awful. I’m nervous and excited all at once but mostly so so tired.
How you found out: We had been trying for a while, I tested as soon as I noticed my pms symptoms seemed more intense than normal
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a 21mo who is wild and fun!!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m feeling okay, just moments of queasiness but not all the time. I had a missed miscarriage before I was pregnant with my daughter, so these first few weeks before the u/s are making me a little anxious, but trying to take it day by day
How you found out: took a test before getting in the shower and came out to a positive! We went through IVF so I had my transfer a few days prior.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my first child! We have a cat and a dog already. My husband and I have been trying to a year and a half before this. I work in healthcare on the administrative side.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally) I don’t have many symptoms besides being tired and a little moody. Right now I have a food aversion to red meat.
How you found out: My husband and I have been trying for about 3 years now. I had a miscarriage in 2021 and I had no idea until I went to urgent care. I was miscarrying as I walked across the stage to receive my Masters. It was a very difficult time for us after it happened but we never lost hope.
These past few months I've been paying close attention to my body. My periods are like clockwork and as soon as I missed a day and I saw no spotting I had a feeling. I woke up at around 1am with pain in both breasts but I went back to sleep. That morning I woke up and I told my husband "I think I'm pregnant." He just asked "how do you know?" So, I didn't hesitate and I took a pregnancy test right before breakfast. 💗
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband works for a BBQ Manufacturing company and I am a 2nd grade dual Immersion Teacher. We have a fur baby, Benny 'the jet' named after the movie The Sandlot. He is a cuddly spoiled (loved) boxer that loves all of our attention, so it's going to be interesting once his sibling arrives.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am VERY nervous especially after our miscarriage. I've been praying every day that it all goes well and I'm constantly checking to see if there's any spotting. Regardless, I am SUPER excited for this next adventure! The only symptoms I've felt are pain in my breasts and fatigue. I'm trying to stay calm and relaxed as much as possible.
How you found out: AF was due to arrive on 7/8 and didn't. Had a dream 6 days after missed period that a test was positive and said "Hmm should I check into this?" Tested and was negative. Then woke up on 7/20 with a nagging feeling I should just test. Got a positive that morning --12 days after my missed period...had to test twice to make sure I wasn't seeing things!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 37 and this will be my first, although I do have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Hubby and I have been trying since January, and we experienced a chemical pregnancy in May. I own and operate a scrapyard where we process metal and then send it to a mill for recycling/melting purposes. For fun I love to sew bags and purses of all kinds -- hoping to open an Etsy shop to sell my goods some day.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Excited, but yet nervous. No real symptoms yet...just tired and peeing all the time. I can't wait to tell our families (the excitement is killing me) but we've decided to wait until after our 1st US. Unfortunately that's not until 8/23....so. far. Away!! Can't wait to see our Little Critter on the monitor!!!!
@babydcooking sending you all the sticky baby dust ❤️ pregnancy after loss can be a real mental challenge, especially the in the early weeks. Thinking of you and happy you are here!
How you found out: AF was late and I had an app screaming at me to take a test. Low and behold!
Tell us about yourself: my partner and I are going on 2 years married, 10 years together. We live in NYC with our rescue pup. I love hiking and making new things with my Cricut
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? So far my biggest symptom is smelling everything in surround sound…everything. And I feel like each day I’m going through many emotions lol with a lot of anxiety, but ultimately, I am so so happy.
Can’t wait to get to know everyone over the coming months!!
How you found out: my cycle is sometimes a few days early or late but usually never by over a week so I knew something might be up (although tbh I thought it could also be stress affecting it so much 😅 but that’s a different discussion board). I tested yesterday and got a positive. It was the night of my childhood friend’s wedding so that will make it memorable for me!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 32, married for 8 years. My husband and I are both attorneys and we have a daughter who just turned 5 and a 1.5 year old dog. We like to hike, read, travel.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I don’t have any symptoms yet! Physically, I actually have more energy than I’ve had in a while. Emotionally, I think I’m still processing. I haven’t told anyone yet even hubby so it will feel more real once people know and we go see the doctor.
How I found out: we've been trying for two and a half years so I test regularly. Got a BFP 10DPO which shocked me. I didn't believe it so I did four more.
About me: I'm 30 and have been married to my partner for 4 years now, been together 10. We originally met in HS but things never worked out then. We kept coming back to each other for more than a decade before we finally got together. He works for the government reviewing pesticide safety. I'm a general contractor and work with a couple companies who focus on whole home renovations. This is a second career for me and I absolutely love it! This is our first little one, our doggo is looking forward to having a little sibling at home as he loves kids. I'm an avid crafter and roller derby player (although, I had to give up contact for now).
How I'm feeling: exhausted all the time. I'm talking naps at lunch in my car and before driving home. I have mild rotating nausea and am incredibly easily winded. I can't climb a flight of stairs without needing a minute after. I'm also experiencing dizziness on occasion when standing up from the floor. I'm super nervous about this pregnancy as it's my first, we worked so hard for it and I have a family history of severe infertility and pregnancy loss. We're waiting for 12 weeks, my request, not my husband's, to tell close family. Then I'm hoping to wait for the third trimester to tell anyone else. I did need to tell my co-workers and boss, given the nature of my work. I can't lift as much anymore and I need to wear a respirator or mask for a lot of work that I didn't wear it for before. So, it sort of throws up some flags for the crew.
@joelle19 Welcome! I almost played Roller Derby back before kids, but I just about broke my ankle during my first training session and that was it for me 😬 We used to go watch lots of derby though!

Hey everyone! Joining this BMB because it's a coin toss as to whether my due date is 3/31 or 4/1 (though I went 8 days late with kiddo #1) but thought I'd join here because this seems like a good group, tell me to leave if I'm off base!
Due date: 3-31/4-1
How you found out: I've been tracking my periods for like over a year now and had a decent idea as to when I'd ovulate. Took a test the day of my kiddos 3rd bday party 7/23 and it was a faint but definite positive.
Even though I'd been watching the calendar I was pleasantly surprised to get pregnant in one try, it took a few cycles for my first pregnancy.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I live in Philly and have one husband, one son who just turned 3 in July, and 2 tuxedo cats. I work for a nonprofit and also help my husband with his real estate business. When not working we're big hosters (we love to have like, 30 people over for a Friday night dinner and cram them in our house) and love to explore new Philly restaurants.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I noticed a day or two before I tested that my boobs looked different which was my first sign round one. Other than that, nothing is too different minus maybe a little fatigue though that could also be credited to some difficult life things going on right now with my dad (not close, recently got sick, had to do a lot of stuff quickly including cleaning out a 4000 sq ft home of a hoarder).
How you found out: fertile window landed during a trip to a friend’s wedding … took a test about a week later on July 4 & could’ve sworn I saw a line … by July 7, we had the BFP on one of the clearblue tests.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
First time mom, but I used to be a nanny. My husband is the oldest of 3 and remembers his baby sister being born when he was 9. We’re so excited. We both work from home — I’m a copywriter and he’s a project manager. We love to go on nature walks and eat at local restaurants (pre-pregnancy I loved the brewery … still do, just no beers now.)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
Emotionally, very nervous. These early weeks are so anxiety inducing, especially if you know a lot of people who’ve experienced loss. We did have one episode of spotting/bleeding and went to the ER to get checked out — all looked good at almost 6 weeks exactly.
Symptoms: pretty tired, coffee/food aversions, no nausea yet. Having heart palpitations (common/normal) which is not my favorite. And the usual boob tenderness.
How you found out: was tracking BBT for informational purposes and realized I probably ovulated sooner than I have been. Took a test about 9/10 dpo and got a faint line. Kept testing for it to get darker and it did!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my 5th baby. 3 girls and a boy. This is our longest gap between kids, my son is 4.5 yo. I'm a SAHM and we homeschool. First year schooling all 4 since my son just started preschool. Husband works as a project manager in a grading and site development company. I enjoy reading and doing quilting and sewing projects.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? So, so, so tired. I've never felt this tired with any of the others. Sore boobs, round ligament pain, and some heartburn already kicking in. :| Morning sickness hasn't kicked in yet and each pregnancy has gotten progressively better in that department, so I'm hopeful. Nervous emotionally, this is our longest gap so I feel a bit out of practice. :D
I was on here with my third DD in 2016, but decided to deactivate when the mass exodus happened, so I had to make a new account this time. Couldn't get into my other one.
sorry, editing to try and figure out the emojis on the computer. I give up.
Re: Introductions!
Job?)
I’m 36 and this is my first pregnancy, which is exciting/a little scary.
Due date: 3/9/24? My first appointment is 7/28!
Spouse/partner?)
I'm turning 35 this week (happy early birthday to me!).
Spouse/partner?)
I live in San Francisco with my husband and bernedoodle.
How I found out:
Just took a test this morning after spending a week developing symptom after symptom.
About me:
Hi! Name’s Bri. 36 years old, married with a 7 year old son. No pets. Thankful for a relatively low stress, flexible job. I love reading, walking and eating, LOL.
How I’m feeling:
AS I said, symptom after symptom piled up.

I found out one morning, that it just felt like I should. I keep getting crazy dreams as well. I found out 4 days before my period was due.
I am a mom to lots of blessings, and we homeschool. I am a Christian, and prayed so much for this baby after 2 losses.
I'm nervous, but I continue to pray.
Praying for all of us.
Due date: March 27 (2 days after my birthday!!!)
Due date: thinking 3/16/24 based on pregnancy calculator
Missed period on 7/10/23 if app right
I’m married, been married a few years. This will be my first kid. I have a 4 year old dog. I work in the business area. I feel happy and many emotions. I’m lucky right now to have few and minor symptoms that go away. I like to walk, bike, run outside. We like to walk, explore/travel and see concerts.
Talking on phone to nurses 8/8 then I’ll go from there
Due date: 3/12/24
Spouse/partner?)
I'm a 33 (34 next week) SAHM, with a 19 month old.

How are you feeling?
Pretty good!
Also my second time back in the boards!
I literally could feel it happen 🤦🏽♀️ lol sure enough I tested and two positives!

My name is Emily and I’m 32.
Due date: 3/30/24
Due date: 3/5/2024
Spouse/partner?)
This is my first child! We have a cat and a dog already. My husband and I have been trying to a year and a half before this. I work in healthcare on the administrative side.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)
I don’t have many symptoms besides being tired and a little moody. Right now I have a food aversion to red meat.
Due date: March 31st, 2024
Spouse/partner?)
My husband works for a BBQ Manufacturing company and I am a 2nd grade dual Immersion Teacher.
Spouse/partner?)
I'm 37 and this will be my first, although I do have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Due date: 3/20
Congratulations everyone!

Excited to connect with you all!
Due date: March 17
I give up.
