Re: Introductions!
I was active with BMBs for my other two pregnancies, and hope that we can have a nice community here!
Pretty good so far 🤞 I'm on and off low key nauseous and pretty tired, but overall really excited! (A little nervous too, at the prospect of having a third.)

How I found out: I was having not-quite-right PMS symptoms for about a week, then started falling asleep at weird times all throughout the day and REALLY strong cravings for pork rinds and yogurt (I'm severely lactose intolerant, not a normal craving). Didn't even wait to miss my period, took the test 3 days before it was expected and got an immediate positive.
About myself: I'm 38 years old, and this is my first ever pregnancy. I've always wanted kids, but held off until finances and life in general were stable enough to try. Spouse is an engineer, I do artsy stuff and knit commissions based on video game and cartoon characters, and we've got 3 cats.
Feeling: Excited, nauseous, nervous, worried like crazy. I've got visceral hypersensitivity and a lot of food limitations. Most days I can't tell what a pregnancy symptom or just a flared up regular thing, and I worry the my food issues will effect the baby. It doesn't feel entirely real yet, but I really REALLY can't wait to meet them.
How you found out: I took a test at CD 30
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I are high school sweethearts! We’ve been together for 20 years, married for 13. We live in central Wisconsin. This will be our 5th child. We have 3 daughters ages 9, 7, and 5 and 1 son who is 21 months. I am a SAHM but occasionally substitute teach at my kids school. I’m a big runner. DH and I enjoy traveling for races together.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m nauseous ALL DAY LONG. Everything smells. Despite the nausea, I’ve found that I’m hungry all the time. I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night to eat a full meal which is new for me!
How I found out: I found out by using a test this morning. My husband and I have been trying for months.
A little about me: I have one son, he just turned 5 last week, and I never thought I'd be able to have another. My last chemo was on November 11, 2021 and they said there was a chance I would not be able to have more kids. I'm an after school children's program coordinator in Pennsylvania. My husband and I will be married 7 years on July 17 but have been together for 11 years.
How I'm feeling: Elated and petrified. I'm so happy I'm pregnant but I'm really scared that my body will not be able to handle it. Because of chemo, there is a higher chance of miscarriage. I'm 36, so I'm "geriatric" which also gives a higher chance of miscarriage. I don't want to lose the baby

@emjeve MH and I are HS sweethearts too! We also hit our 20 year dating anniversary this year, and will have our 10 year wedding anniversary in a couple months. Cheers to you!
@laz5009 🤞 everything goes well for you! I'm "geriatric" too, and curious how that will affect my care this time around...
@mrosek91 That sounds scary! Wishing you a peaceful pregnancy and smooth delivery.

Feeling great so far. Only symptoms are soreness, tired, and hungry 24/7! We are super excited!!

I believe my DD should be about 3/22/24. My first dr visit is 08/01 to confirm date and first U/S.
This will be our 5th, possibly more. 😆😅 we have four kids and my last two were twins. (5yo now) They told me my chances of multiples increases after having fraternal twins. Sooo we are in for a treat.
Very excited! We’ve been married 9 years! I’m a SAHM now and will sub here and there for my kids’ school.
Congrats everyone!!
Due date: I think 3/18, but haven't kept great track of my cycles, I believe I haven't missed a period yet that I know of so very early and surprised
How you found out: a week before my expected period tested on dollar store tests and very faint positive so confirmed with clear blue that has the word "pregnant". Might be further along that I'm expecting.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I married my husband May of this year. I have birthed 1 child (9) and my spouse has 4. We have a golden retriever and a Great Dane. I am a stay at home mom and past RN.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I feel a tiny bit nauseous when I don't keep my belly full and feel like I've been having increased urination already. I also have mild cramping once and a while.
Here are a few things I've made:
Due date: March 7th? Waiting for a dating US on 7/24
How you found out: we are not TTC but not strictly avoiding. Thinking I ovulated a couple days early this month according to symptoms and we had DTD 5 days before that. I know, still possible, but was not at all expecting this to happen. POAS the day my period was supposed to start and shocked! We want a 3rd, but weren’t sure on timing. Not sure we’re ready but I mean when are you ever really and truly ready?!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DS is 5.5 yo and starts kindergarten next month 🥹 DD is 15 months old and the most wild, spirited baby. The contrast between our first two is comical. Can’t wait to see what this baby is like ❤️ I am an ER nurse and DH is a paramedic turned STAHD. We love our family dynamic right now. We have a dog that is our kids’ best friend and 2 geckos that were originally for the 5yo but have completely become my hobby.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Initially felt pretty anxious. Had zero symptoms. ***TW: loss*** the only other time I experienced that was with a 6 weeks loss in 2021. ***End TW*** Got 2 beta hcgs drawn 48hrs apart that more than doubled and put my mind at ease. Still no breast tenderness (possibly due to still BFing my daughter?). But in the last few days have been struggling with fatigue, being FREEZING all the time, peeing constantly, and a crazy sense of smell. Emotionally I am ecstatic. Surprised. Happy. And still struggling with intrusive thoughts of how I could be ruining my DD’s life by giving her a sibling so soon. DH and I both made a pact to enjoy every aspect of this pregnancy to the fullest as it is probably our last.
ETA: I also can. not. drink enough water. So thirsty. And short of breath with minimal exertion- something I experienced with my last pregnancy too.

@mynameisoverused 3/10 was my due date with my last baby! She came on 3/9. Love your knitting creations.
@emjeve I am the oldest of 5 siblings and love big families. And I also feel you on the constant hunger.
@laz5009 congrats!! We have a 5yo too. Love this age ❤️ sending you all the well wishes for a healthy pregnancy!
@mrosek91 love seeing multiple TTM+ in our group! Thinking of you during this pregnancy as you manage the feelings from your daughter’s traumatic birth, and wishing with you for a successful VBAC. Have you heard of ICAN (international cesarean awareness network)? I know of other mamas who struggled with trauma related to c/s that found lots of great support and VBAC resources through ICAN.
husband and I have been trying for a couple months and my period was due today. Wednesday night we had plans with friends and I wanted to have some drinks. I decided to take an early detection test before havin a crazy night and sure enough it was positive! I enjoyed a nice tall ginger ale 😂
husband and i have been married since February but friends since kindergarten. I have a 9 year old who is very eager to be a big brother. Keeping the news from him in these early days is going to be tough!
My name is Shara, 34 years old (35 in Aug) and this is my 1st child.
All the apps say my due date is 3/9/2024, but I will find out with more certainty post-doctors appointment on 7/28. I have been tracking ovulation for quite sometime, and I just had a feeling is should take a test the day my period was due this month, and after the initial trst showed very faint lines, 4 more later I was convinced I was pregnant! I have taken 1 a day for the following 3 days just to be sure - definitely pregnant!
My fiance and I have been trying for just about a year - we have been together for just about 7 years, engaged last May, and we purchased our first home about a year and a half ago and both felt like we were ready (not to mention both our sets of parents are definitely ready for their 1st grandchild too)! I work from home in customer service management while my fiance works for the state we live in, and we have a 3 year old cat named Eminem who I think will make a wonderful furry big brother!
My symptoms are definitely fatigue, soreness, naseusa, regular shortness of breath, and extreme thirst. Very excited, as well as anxious and nervous - but I guess that comes with the territory!
Due date: it’s looks to be around 3/15/2024
How you found out: I have been tracking my cycles and I was late from the predicated first day of my period but I’ve been pretty irregular recently and I had a miscarriage about 2 months ago so I wasn’t sure. I waited till i was about 5 days late and took a test and it was immediately positive. Thinking it it was too good to be true I took a test the following day and it was positive again!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m 34 and my husband and I have been married for almost 2 years. This will be our first child. I work for a research and development company and my husband is a fundraiser. We have a very old kitty (18yo) and I’m not sure how she’s going to take having to share attention with someone else, haha.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally: I’m excited and nervous. My symptoms have been pretty mild, cramping and some acid reflux (which is unusual for me) and my basal body temperature has been higher. But it’s still early.
I was expected 4 July, came 25 June. Brother was expected 29 February (leap year), came 23 February.
So you never really know, eh?
Aw looks like we will be close in DD! Cant wait to see what our ultrasounds bring up date wise!
How you found out: tested on the day AF was supposed to arrive and surprisingly got a positive.
Tell us about yourself- we have 4 other kiddos! I have been married for almost 10 years! We have 2 dogs! I am a pediatric sleep consultant and I absolutely love my job!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Tired and nauseous at night. So happy to be here. Congratulations everyone!
Due date: March 7th if my apps are right!!
How I found out: this was our first month trying, so I had pretty low expectations. Felt funky and was a day late (I’m not super regular and have long cycles), so tested just because. So shocked to see the positive I took 5 more😂😂
About me: I’m 22 and an apartment locator! My husband and I got married this past October, and he’s 23 and WFH for a tech company. We have two cats and a Lab.
How im feeling: crampy, exhausted, and nauseous. But very excited and terrified!
Due date: March 9
How you found out: I tested the day I expected AF and thought I got a negative. Tested the next day and was surprised by a BFP! I fished the test from the day before out of the trash and sure enough it was also positive! I guess I didn't wait long enough.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)I am so excited to see some other larger families and geriatric moms here! I am 38 and if this pregnancy is successful it will be my 4th child. My kids are 11, 9 & 4. I have had several early losses in the past, which always makes early pregnancy a stressful time. I am a former attorney turned cowgirl. DH and I have a cow calf operation and sell grassfed beef. We also keep a milk cow, ducks, chickens, bees, goats and pigs. We started homeschooling with the pandemic and plan to continue. I like cooking whole food from scratch and doing projects.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am exhausted! I've had a few short episodes of intense nausea, but mostly I feel okay just not interested in eating. I am so bloated already it is insane! I am really hesitant to tell anyone and am hoping to get in for an early ultrasound before I share my news IRL.
Congrats!!
How you found out: This was a first month trying again after our ectopic in February. We were going on a trip to Nashville on 6/24. I tested 6/23 at around 3pm and got a faint positive! Told my husband the next day at the airport 😅
Tell us about yourself: I'm 25, i work in Marketing 😊 We have 4 fur babies (2 pups, 2 kitties). This will be our double rainbow baby ☺️
Spouse/partner? My husband is 28, he's a plumber 😊 we've been married for 3 years (together for 10 years this october)
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Sore boobs, out of breath quite a bit, lower back pain and a tiny bit of cramping. I'm cautiously optimistic, i have my first ultrasound tomorrow, i'll be exactly 6w so i'm crossing my fingers for an early heartbeat. But definitely, super nervous.
My name is Tori I'm 28 (29 in August)
Due date: March 20 (Hubby's Birthday  )
How you found out: Had all the typical AF symptoms plus one odd one that never really hits me .... about 5 or 6 days ago once it would hit about 2pm I would just crash. I was so so so exhausted nothing would help so decided to take a random test Friday evening about 830ish right before getting into a shower and happened to notice a faint line coming up! I have to admit I panicked a little and ran out of the restroom to my husband and shoved the test in his face asking him if I was going crazy or if he seen the 2 lines as well. The line was faint but he actually seen it too and this started my roller coaster of emotions haha.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have 2 DD 8 & 6 and 5 fur babies (3 dogs 2 cats)
This is will hopefully be my Rainbow Baby
I have been married to my husband for 11 years this month and he works in Farming. I work as a sales clerk.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
Tender Breasts and exhaustion are my main symptoms right now.
Emotionally I'm on one h*ll of a roller coaster ... nervous/excited/scared/worried and so much more. Mainly I am trying to find a happy medium between all my emotions and just breathe.
I am Sara, working mom with a teenage. Married 13 years this year. Didn’t think a second one was going to join, kind of a surprise but I am quite excited.
I found out the regular way. I was just feeling very similar to the last time I was pregnant (more sensitive, forgetful,…) so I thought I should test!
We’re happy, it’s just weird timing as we were about to move across the country for some adventure as a family. We’re considering changing our plans.
Otherwise I am feeling great, super energetic. Just not very hungry but that’s it for now.
Waiting for confirmation but due date is 3/18 which is my birthday…
Due date: 3/9
How you found out: I felt exhausted just before my period was expected so I tested and got a quick positive. This is my 6th pregnancy and usually that’s my first symptom.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Hi, I’m Kasey and I’m a 35yo SAHM. My husband and I have been married 5 years this fall and have 2 sons (7 & 4), 3 dogs, a cat and a boatload of chickens. We started homeschooling during the pandemic, loved it and found a pretty great community nearby.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I’m feeling hesitant to get excited about this pregnancy after 3 consecutive first tri losses (1/21, 7/21, 10/22). Unexplained secondary infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss also unexplained according to my ob and fertility drs. My numbers look good so far and I have an ultrasound next week to see if everything is progressing as it should. My ob has me on progesterone as a precaution as well. My first two pregnancies were so easy and normal and then the three losses with no answers I’m terrified we’re headed for more heartbreak.
I tested out my trigger right after the transfer so it’s definitely not false. I’m waiting for my beta this Sunday.
Due date: Supposedly March 25, 2024
How you found out: I’m a POAS addict and as soon as the trigger was out, I wanted to keep testing because I didn’t want to wait until beta.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No other kids. We have two small dogs and are hoping to pick up a new puppy this weekend. I’m a massage therapist and I got a husband. We have been married over 7 years now.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nothing really except some cramping. I’m also taking Progesterone and it makes me run hot. My job is also physical so I can’t tell if my back hurts from hormones or my body mechanics suck.
Due date: 3/7/2024
How you found out: I went to urgent care for extreme pain in my lower right abdomen. I have a history of kidney stones and was sure one was moving and getting stuck or I was thinking appendicitis. They needed to do imaging and of course did a pregnancy test and it came back POSITIVE!! I looked at the Dr and told him to STFU because I was certain he was wrong. I hadn’t even missed a period yet and both my fiancé and I were told that it would be a miracle if we had a child together.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 7 year old daughter from a previous relationship and 2 kitty cats. I love to scrapbook and do arts and crafts. I am a registered medical assistant and currently going back to school for my RN. Right now I feel pretty awesome. Of course slightly worried since it’s so early and dealing with migraines. I got them often before pregnancy but could take medication for them. Now, Tylenol doesn’t even touch it.
@kmw611 🤞🤞🤞 for a sticky baby!

I found out at work after some of my coworkers told me to test 😅
I work in a pediatric hospital and this will be my 4th child . My youngest turns 8 soon so this feels like a whole new experience.
Thank you for letting me be part of this group
Found out I was pregnant on 7/10 after missing my cycle.
Due Date: 3/14/23
About me: I’m a college counselor at a community college in the Los Angeles Area. Born and raised here and my husbands name is Alex. He is back in school studying accounting and our hope is to start our own business/non-profit. This will be our first child. And we enjoy the outdoors a lot! Hiking, biking, camping, beach, outdoor concerts and movies etc.
Feeling: Excited, blessed yet a little anxious. Our last pregnancy resulted in a traumatic miscarriage. But we’re trusting that Gods in control and this time around things will go well. We’re holding off on telling anyone till we get farther along then our first pregnancy.
Congrats to you all!
How I Found Out:
We had been struggle with secondary infertility for over a year. We found out it was actually genetic male factor infertility, and our first kiddo (who is now 3) was a one in a million. At the beginning of June we started treatment at a fertility clinic and did our first iui. The day after our iui, we were told by another specialist that ivf-icsi might be our only option. However - our iui somehow worked.
I suspected it had worked around 10dpiui, went in for beta hcg on 15dpt (13dpiui) and had a beta of 190. Second beta was 635, less than 45 hours later. I had three great follicles, so…we are a little nervous about multiples, but won’t find out until 8 weeks at the ultrasound.
Symptoms:
Exhausted, on and off sore boobs, on and off dizziness. Heightened smell.
