@babyrummom I just wanted to say I’m also scared about viability. The unknown is so hard. My first appointment isn’t until 8 weeks. It seems like a long time to wait. Thinking of you!
Hi I’m Katie, age 30 and 7 weeks pregnant with twins
Due date?
June 20th
How did you find out?
I had an IUI done and was told to test after 14 days. I waited the whole two weeks because I was scared it would be negative, but thankfully the IUI worked times two!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
This is my third pregnancy in the past year, but the other two both ended in miscarriages. My husband and I have been working with a fertility clinic since our last loss and are cautiously excited about this pregnancy. We have an 8 year old golden retriever named Penny.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Anxious, exhausted and nauseous. I didn’t experience nausea in my previous pregnancies so I’m taking that as a good sign this time.
@elars the waiting game is always so hard. I'm waiting until 9 weeks for my first appointment! I could have gone at 8 weeks, but it worked out better with my work schedule to do it later, which means more waiting!
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Tamara. Age 36, and 7 weeks 2 days pregnant. 2nd pregnancy, but hopefully 1st beautiful healthy birth and baby. (We loss our 1st baby at 7 weeks pregnant back in Feb this year)
Due date? June 19th
How did you find out? We had actually just gotten back from our honeymoon (Married 9/24/22) the day before, and I woke up and told my husband I felt weird. Kind of off. So I decided to take a test, and it was positive.. but barely. I was only about 3 1/2 weeks pregnant.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? This baby would be my 1st child, but my husband has a son that I love and adore very much! We have 2 dogs who are like fur babies to me! One of my dog feels like she has to constantly be right next to me, and even more now since I’m pregnant. Job? I work from home as an account manager for a medical distribution company. I love it, and the benefits are amazing! We get 15 weeks of maternity leave to be with the baby! I’m very excited about that! Things you like to do? I love to play poker, travel, spend time with family and friends, go on random dates with my husband, and now I’ve picked up decorating my house since closed back on 10/12!! Spouse/partner?): I’ve been with my husband for 2 years now, married a little over a month, and it’s been a journey.. and I’ve so excited for what’s to come!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been nauseous almost daily at points, but no vomiting. My breast are soooo sore, and hurting so bad! I’ve had a headache or 2. I haven’t noticed any food cravings, but diversions to onions. Lol I’ve also been told that I’ve been kind of moody recently. Still happy to be here!
How did you find out? Well, my period was late and I was having what could be pregnancy symptoms BUT my husband had a vasectomy five years ago so it couldn't be that (plus, my period had been late before and it wasn't pregnancy). Google had me convinced it was actually early menopause -- until I felt sick cooking ground beef for supper one night and found myself out of breath walking around the yard. I couldn't shake the feeling I was pregnant after that so I took a test a couple days later and it was positive! Pregnancy #3 for me, vasectomy #2 for DH coming up 😅
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have an 8yo DS and 5yo DD, we live on a farm with two dogs, 12 cats and.. lots of cows. I run a daycare out of our home -- and really enjoy it but was looking forward to hopefully working as an EA at the school next year since both my kids will be in school full-time, guess five more years of daycare it is!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Not great. Nauseous, headaches, sore boobs/back/body, cramping, stuffed up, all of it ha. Was obviously not at all mentally or physically prepared to put my body through another pregnancy and my first two were pretty smooth sailing for the most part so this has been rough! Heading into week 10 this weekend though and hoping things will improve
I have been going through IVF treatments for over a year, this was my second frozen embryo transfer, and it stuck! I’m terrified of every ache and pain because this has been a long hard road.
We used a donated embryo because I wasn’t able to have my own egg retrieval, but any baby at this point is a complete blessing, and I am so so happy!
I have two dogs and a cat, and this will be my first child. Some positives of Embryo Transfers, I already know that I’m having a girl! (It’s a weird day when you have to pick which embryo to transfer…)
As far as symptoms, mostly I’m just exhausted. I have some slight nausea during the day, but nothing making me run to the bathroom. Kind of like general car sickness at any time. Not fun, but not too terrible.
I live in Southern California, and am excited to be on this journey with you all!
Took pregnancy test because I knew I was in the range to test (been ttc since Sep 2021), the first test I honestly thought it was a fluke that I had left it out too long and it was an evaporation line (it was a cheaper dip test). The next day i took another test (this time I took a First response early detection) and there was definitely a line there. I was completely shocked and I had kinda come to the conclusion that my husband and I were going to have to proceed with fertility treatments soon.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I am a first time mom, this is my first pregnancy, and I am trying to stay positive. I also have PCOS, overweight, and I have ADHD. So needless to say I've had my fair share of discrimination when it comes to OB care. But despite all the negativity I have heard, I have found a wonderful OB who is supportive and my primary care doctor was so happy for me and gave me a big hug when I told her.
I have a wonderful, supportive husband, who watches me carefully so i don't "do too much". It's 95% sweet only 5% annoying lol. We are also dog parents to a wonderful 5 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix, Theodore. Theo is super cute but he also has the temperament of a grumpy old man who hates children, so needless to say i'm just a little worried.
Currently I am a stay at home wife, but my husband's sister is currently living with us temporarily (She is autistic and waiting for an opening for a waiver for housing) so we have our hands full already.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
My main symptoms have been heightened sense of smell, sore breasts, and lots of cramping. I'm emotionally a bit stressed out, but i'm trying my best to keep calm and relax. I have been trying to take a walk everyday to try and help and that's been very helpful.
@maddmama Ugh. What a club! Haha, how old are your other two? Is this pregnancy easier/harder for you so far? I really lucked out the first two times so this pregnancy is fully kicking my butt -- age plays into I'm sure but still, it's been rough!
How did you find out: Got a positive test on 12dpo! I used Mira to track my ovulation
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am 28yo and live in thesuburbs of Chicago. This is my first pregnancy! My husband and I have been married for 2 years, together for 7. We recently built a house and it’s just been us two and our German shepherd! We love all things outdoors and enjoy doing yoga together.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally): My biggest symptom and challenge has been exhaustion. I work in the medical field and by the time I get home I can barely keep my eyes open. My nausea is usually mild but comes in waves. I have extreme bloating which makes me feel like I already look like 4 months pregnant!
Pregnancy has been very emotional for me. I lost my dad when I was 21, and my mom when I was 26. As much as I am happy/excited, it’s been really hard when I feel their absence so deeply. I don’t have any sisters (4 older brothers) and I’m the first of my girlfriends to get pregnant. Right now it feels very lonely going through these major changes but I’m hoping I will feel better when we are ready to tell people after 12 weeks.
@mamababyschulz I lost my dad at 20, too. I still have my mom, but it is so hard to navigate the emotions that come with a new baby when you've lost one (let alone both) of your own parents. Thinking of you ❤️
@thescarletmom i turned 20 the month after my dad passed ❤️ it’s a hard age when you’re just becoming an “adult”. My mom has since re-married and her husband is really great with my kids. He’s their grandpa because he’s all they’ve known. But it’s so bitter when I let myself think any deeper into the situation.
@maddmama My dad passed right before my 14th birthday and my mom remarried when I was 25… I struggle so much with letting my daughter call him grandpa. He’s a great guy and loves my daughter so much but it would be too hard for me to hear her call him grandpa. So she calls him by his first name.
@francesgs@maddmama my mom literally *just* got remarried earlier this year (although they were divorced when i was little, long before my dad died, she never so much as dated). I think my mom refers to him as papa with the kids, which doesn't bother me hes a great guy who loves them very much, but I can never bring myself to say it. It's what my dad was called when my son was a baby. He was weeks shy of two when he died, and the other day in the car we were talking about how many grandparents the kids had. Then out of the blue, my son said "All I remember about your dad... is a smile". Cue instant waterworks 🥺
Hi i’m Sam! I’m due 6/28/23 I found out because I was 2 days late on my period & I just had a feeling so I took a digital test & poof! I work full time, I love to work out, watch crime shows & read. I have a dog & 2 kitties. My husband & I just got married this past June & are so stoked to welcome our little one!
I’m feeling so grossed out by beef which is absolutely absurd to me😂the nausea is here full throttle, my constant crying has subsided a bit from week 3-4, those were very emotional. First time mom & just left my doctors & he had recommended this app!💕
@maddmama its one of those things that makes you believe in something... he *shouldn't* have memories of my dad because he was just so little, but this is not the first time he's said something about him so unprompted and genuine. I have no idea how else he would have thought of it if it weren't true that he remembered him.
I recently found out my due date is June 15, 2023.
How did you find out?
We’ve been planning for me to get pregnant by age 40. I found out a little bit before my missed period I was pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I currently work from home and I’m studying for my PhD in counseling psychology. I have one son he is eight years old who is super excited about the new baby coming. We also have a dog named Clarence. He is a Shih Tzu. I enjoy lots of family time traveling with my son and family.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I recently came back from having my ultrasound. My doctor said that I started out with twins but end up having what is called vanishing twins.
My doctor says from my ultrasound baby A is not showing signs of a heartbeat, and they just can’t quite see a continued growth of the baby. However baby B is showing movement, a strong heartbeat, and appears to be just fine.
I am definitely grateful to hear that baby B managed to keep fighting lol. I was a little sad at first about baby A but I feel blessed to still be pregnant.
Introduce yourself: My name is krystal I am About 8 weeks have my first prenatal tomorrow

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Right now my husband and I only have a cockapoo named Cloey
Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband owns a sports cards and memorabilia business ( we work with pro and former athletes)

Hello everyone. I'm a web designer from Chicago. I am on the 33rd week. My stomach is already like a drum and I don't know how to work sitting at all))) Does anyone have any life hacks?
Hi @joeyjoy are you due in December 2022/January 2023? You might check out those BMBs because the ladies here are all due in June 2023 and between 10-6ish weeks. But as a TTM, my best recommendation would be to try sitting on a yoga ball or something that's not a regular chair where you can drop your legs away from your pelvis/open up your hips more.
Hi I am Ashlyn! 26 years old. I work as a F&I manager in the car business. Have no hobbies as work took over my life. I’ve been trying for 4 years. I’ve taken countless tests and had to stop taking them due to the heartbreak of a negative result. But we are so excited to start out little family! Our due date is June 14th which happens to be my nephews 6th birthday! I was that sibling watching all my nieces and nephews getting older feeling left out, wondering when my time would come. I was about a week late when I took my first test and it was negative. Then not long after I felt that cramping feeling and was like oh well it’s just late again. Then another week went by when my cousins wife whose my only friend out here told me to test again. I actually took the test at her house and it immediately was positive. I was so overwhelmed with emotions I was crying when I told her guess what and showed her the result. Then I called my sister and she was so excited. Went home and told my boyfriend and he was over the moon. So I guess I can backtrack a bit. I was in an abusive relationship/marriage for 8 years. I left my ex husband a few times and the last time that’s when I met my current boyfriend. Something clicked and I knew he was the one I was going to spend my life with. So that’s the short story. We have two dogs, Roscoe and Remi, and a cat, Dodger. We just work then come home and relax. We going bowling every now and then with work friends. As far as how I am feeling… I was so nauseous but the anti nausea medicine saved me and heartburn meds. Exhaustion for sure. Still some cramping every now and then. Drinking tons and tons of water. Sleeping a ton. Even got my doctor to cut my hours only to 9 hour days. That’s been the best. I’m 9 weeks and I’m over the fear of something happening and wondering how I am to get everything done that I need to do to prepare. But we’re excited!
Introduce yourself: I’m Melissa. I am 34. This is my second pregnancy
Due date? June 14
How did you find out? Took a test a few days before my period, positive! My husband and I started trying 4 months prior.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m married to my husband for 15 years. We have one 5 year old son,a dog and cat. I’ve been an ER nurse for ten years. I love being with my family, pampering myself at a spa, traveling, finding new restaurants, board games, murder mysteries and watching sports!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Emotionally I’m very worried I won’t love another child like I love my son. How could you? Friends have reassured me you can and do. Hard to imagine. Physically, ugh, what a bad 3 weeks. Constant nausea, hungry but nothing sounds good. Eat a few bites then blah. Weak, dizzy, exhausted, racing heart.
How did you find out? Seems like a thousand years ago (or 5 weeks). Just a home pregnancy test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): First pregnancy and first kid. I have a husband and dog who I adore (maybe the dog more than the husband lol).
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Nausea, fatigue, super sore boobs, so bloated clothes hurt my belly.
Introduce yourself: Hello, mommas! My name is Delaney. I am 23, I live in central IL and this is my first baby!
Due date? I am 10w2d today, due June 6, 2023 :)
How did you find out? Me and my boyfriend weren’t necessarily “trying” but we also weren’t preventing pregnancy lol. I know when I ovulate, so about a week after my ovulation day I started feeling extra moody and I told him “I guarantee I’m pregnant.” Took a test about a week later and got my bfp.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I don’t have any other children, but we do have an 8 month old husky named Lola who we LOVE so much. She is like a child to us and we both adore her and can’t wait to see how she takes to our human babe when he/she arrives! I am an LPN, I work at an assisted living facility and my boyfriend does concrete work. In our free time we like to watch football, take Lola on hikes/adventures & spend time with our family and friends. He also has a son from a previous relationship who is 6 years old.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I actually feel great. My biggest symptom up until this point has just been extreme fatigue. I feel like I could sleep forever. Lol. I’ve had little bouts of nausea here and there but nothing very extreme at all and I haven’t actually puked at all. Sore boobs and some moodiness still persist, but are starting to ease up a bit.
So happy to be in the group, nice to meet all of you! :)
Hi! I'm Gracey, I'm 26 yo, and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA! My due date is June 28, 2023!
How I found out is a bit crazy. Each year when the weather changes, my boobs start to hurt but this year, because my husband and I honeymooned a bit hard, I decided to rule everything out. Lo and behold, the pregnancy test came back positive, with dark lines too!
This will be my first child with my husband (we got married in September but have been together since October 2017)! I have 3 boy cats and a bearded dragon! I am an assistant general manager at a restaurant so I don't really have a life outside of that lol.
My nausea has been terrible... I'll have good days and bad days with it but emotionally and physically, I am SO TIRED! My job as a restaurant manager is extremely tolling and honestly don't feel a sense of job security at the moment so that in itself is exhausting.
Hello all! My name is Hannah! This is my first pregnancy so I am very excited to be able to have a forum like this with so many others who are going through the exact same thing and also others who have experience and helpful advice!
My due date is June 1, 2023 which also happens to be my moms birthday so that is exciting!
One day out of the blue, my sister in law who lives in another state texted me and said “I had a dream last night you were pregnant”, That made me start thinking “what if?” My fiancé and I hadn’t exactly been careful but my period wasn’t due for another week so I did my best to wait it out. 4 days before my period was due my fiancé and I just couldn’t wait any longer so I took a test and swore I saw a faint line but wasn’t sure because it was so early. We decided to go get a digital test and after 2 minutes of waiting we got that positive! I took 2 tests daily for the next week until I was able to get my blood work done to confirm. I am now 11 weeks and 3 days and we are so excited!
My fiancé and I just bought our house in May 2022 and got engaged in August of this year as well! We have one pup who is 3 years old that we’re really excited to see be a big sis! We were originally planning to get married in May 2023 but I’m going to be huge now so we have bumped up the wedding and will be tying the knot next month! So many exciting things happening!
This first trimester has been miserable for me to be honest. I am so so very excited and grateful to be pregnant with my little nugget but the nausea and exhaustion has just been so overwhelming. I’ve felt completely useless because I struggle to get out of bed most days. But I know I’m nearing the end of this trimester and am hopeful that the second will bring me some relief and energy so I can get back in my groove!
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! My name is Lisa. A friend of mine told me about this app when I told her I was pregnant and said it helped her get through alot. This is my first pregnancy.
Due date? June 16th
How did you find out? Nausea and a missed period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 years now. We both weren’t sure if we could have children so we are both very excited. We have a dog named Monty that can definitely sense something is going on. He has always been protective of me but he just will not leave my side right now.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I seem to have good and bad day with morning sickness. Breasts definitely are tender and growing rapidly! I feel nervous. I feel like I don’t want to get my hopes up until I reach a safer point in the pregnancy. I am beyond happy and excited though.
After trying for three months we got a positive 12 DPO. I ovulated September 19. I was shocked that it happened so quickly and had no initial symptoms. I had been tracking via Daysy for four years and used OPK tests, I read every fertility book at the library.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I am just days away from turning 34, this is my first pregnancy, I am 10 weeks. My husband and I have been married for four years, he is an engineer and I'm now a SAHM to-be. I like studying, researching, thinking, questioning but I also like making delicious dinners, going for walks with my husband, resting, and quiet.
I have had two midwife appointments, we heard the heartbeat yesterday and took the NIPT which included the sex-reveal. Initially I was not interested in knowing if it was a boy or girl, now that I have taken the test it is constantly on my mind.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally):
I feel physically, emotionally and mentally well. From weeks 5 to 9 I was immovably exhausted and have experienced an increased appetite so intense that I am eating six meals a day; I have gained 10 pounds. I have had motion sickness, yet very little nausea and no vomiting. I have had no emotional shifts yet, no tears of saddness or joy. I have not felt moody or dis-regulated. Mentally I still feel as if my mind is clear, I haven't felt forgetful, mentally fatigued or anxious.
How did you find out? I had a IUD, but my breasts were sore and I couldn’t remember exactly when my last period was so I took at test just in case expecting it to be negative. We had a dating ultrasound yesterday to see what was going on, get a due date, and remove the IUD.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m a SAHM with a 6 year old girl and a 3.5 year old boy.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Physically I feel ok, just tired. Emotionally I’m all over the place. We were very done having kids, my last pregnancy was pretty difficult, I’m already overstimulated by the two kids I have, I was finally starting to feel like I had some freedom and I’m scared to start over again, I know my family is going to disapprove, we even got rid of all our baby stuff already.
How did you find out? My husband and I had been trying for about 4 months and both got COVID and were really sick early October. We kinda called my fertility window a wash since we were so sick but low and behold…eliminating the stress seemed to be the key! I was a few days late and taking a week off before starting a new job and was able to have a fun surprise for my husband before a planned dark night that night 🥰
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m 32 and my husband is 38 - this is our first baby! I’m excited to have this little one with us for the holidays this year - it’s my favorite time of year.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Definitely emotional - seeking a lot of extra affection from my guy. Otherwise pretty tender breasts and some nausea and sensitivity to smells. Overall pretty good!
Hi! I’m Katie, from Connecticut! I’m 38 and pregnant with my first. My wife and I used IUI to get me pregnant. This is our 2nd try, I had a miscarriage in May.
Due date? June 10, 2023
How did you find out? We tested just about 2 weeks after the IUI procedure. It was a few days early, but during lunch, the smell of whatever was on offer that day made me almost barf and I thought something might be up, and it was!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My wife and I are teachers - I teach high school History. We have one goldendoodle and we love to be outside - hiking, walking, gardening, whatever!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally? I’m glad that I’m almost done with the first trimester. I was nauseous almost all day long, and only slightly hungry. Also, soooo tired. But right at about 10 weeks, my symptoms started getting better and I don’t always need a nap in the middle of the day anymore. We just had our NIPT testing come back low risk, so I’m finally feeling like this little one might stick around awhile!!!

My main symptoms have been heightened sense of smell, sore breasts, and lots of cramping. I'm emotionally a bit stressed out, but i'm trying my best to keep calm and relax. I have been trying to take a walk everyday to try and help and that's been very helpful.
I am excited to get to know everyone here!
Due date: June 4th
How did you find out: Got a positive test on 12dpo! I used Mira to track my ovulation
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am 28yo and live in the suburbs of Chicago.
I’m due 6/28/23
I found out because I was 2 days late on my period & I just had a feeling so I took a digital test & poof!
Hello, beautiful mothers, my name is Jessica!

My name is krystal
I am About 8 weeks have my first prenatal tomorrow
Due date? As of now June19 2023
How did you find out?
We have been trying for a year. My husband and I were working an autograph show and while going up and down the stairs with former pro athletes my boobs were killing, I felt a little weird that day
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?
Right now my husband and I only have a cockapoo named Cloey
Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
My husband owns a sports cards and memorabilia business ( we work with pro and former athletes)
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Sleepy, hungry, nervous , headaches
Due date?
Due date? June 15
How did you find out? Seems like a thousand years ago (or 5 weeks). Just a home pregnancy test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
First pregnancy and first kid. I have a husband and dog who I adore (maybe the dog more than the husband lol).
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Nausea, fatigue, super sore boobs, so bloated clothes hurt my belly.
Due date?
June 16th
How did you find out?
Nausea and a missed period
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I have been with my boyfriend for about 2 years now.
Thank you for letting me share!
How did you find out:
Due date? June 24, 2023
Due date - June 29th
Spouse/partner?):
My wife and I are teachers - I teach high school History.
