*lurking* @wunderkai I'm so sorry. I was really hoping for you when I saw your post earlier this week. Alas, I know the feeling of only having miscarriages and joy being sucked out of it. Sending you hugs, friend.
@wunderkai I am so sorry for your loss! I wish I had the right words to say, but hope that you can get some answers that will bring you some peace and a path forward in the future. Sending healing thoughts!
Hi, I'm Maggie. I'm 32 and I'm from the PNW. I am in the Navy and DH is a SAHD to our 2.5 year old daughter. We did IVF for our daughter, but I've been working on managing my PCOS with supplements to improve egg quality. I had just about convinced myself that the current batch wasn't working and we were going to need to try something new when I got back from deployment.
I found out by POAS after my period was a few days late. I went to go tell my F2020 BMB and learned that @burr1371 and I found out at about the same time and with nearly the same due date. I'm due March 29th by LMP.
I've had some physical symptoms (sore boobs, exhaustion, etc) but worst has been emotional. My ship was about to leave on deployment and now I can't go, so I'm being transferred to a different (all-male) ship for the next few months until we figure out a long term plan. I loved my ship and I don't want to leave them. I'm also not super excited about being the only woman and dealing with the first trimester on top of that. I cry just about every day and sometimes I can't stop. (Yay, hormones!) Because of this, I have been having difficulty feeling as happy about this miracle as I should be, so I decided to join here, even though it's early.
Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Jennifer! I’m 32 and this is my very first pregnancy.
Due date: 3/30/23
How you found out: My periods are like clockwork. I *knew* before I missed my period & I had a urine pregnancy test at a doctor’s appointment about 5 days before I was due to start and it was negative. I tested exactly one week later when I hadn’t started and got an instant positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work from home at an insurance job I took to get settled in a new city and I’m actively trying to find a new gig. No other human kids but I do have a lovely ball of anxiety that’s shaped like a dog. I live with my boyfriend who I’ve been dating for about 7 months but been friends with and lived with as roommates for over two years. I play roller derby & my only disappointment with this pregnancy is that I had to forfeit the rest of the season, but I can’t wait to get back to it once my Duckling is here.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Oh god. The nausea. Everything else is fine but constantly feeling queasy is getting real old, real quick.
Introduce yourself: I'm Chelsea, 36, and have a husband of 4'years (together 10) and a 2.5 year old son. I'm a teacher and I'm already nervous about having to work pregnant (even though I did with my first) cause I feel worse nausea this time, but hopefully it passes quickly.
Due date: March 24th (but could change with first ultrasound)
How you found out: we've been trying for just two months/cycles and I was late, but in Portugal and test was hard to come by. I got sore boobs and still nursing my toddler and it started getting really sore when he latched on. Finally got a test and it was a solid two lines!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a cat and 6 chickens. Like to craft, sew, knit, garden, yoga, bike. I used to love rock climbing and hoping to get back to that some day!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Fatigue, nasuea, been throwing up two mornings in a row. Bleh. It feels worse than last time, but maybe I'm forgetting.
Introduce yourself: Hi, everyone! I was previously in the Feb 2023 group, but after my prenatal appt today, I’ve officially been bumped to March! I’m 30 years old and this will be my first baby.
Due date: 03/13/2023
How you found out: I had a feeling…no symptoms, really. But we’d been trying and I took a test two days before my expected period and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 5 year old husky. I am a graphic designer. My spouse and I have been together about 10 years and married for about a year and a half. We like to watch TV (maybe too much) and work in our garden. And of course take the dog on long walks!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Right now, I’m pretty excited. Still a bit nervous, as we’ve had a loss before. But I’ve now gotten to hear the baby’s heartbeat on two separate occasions, which has helped. I’ve been fairly lucky with symptoms. Sore boobs and fatigue are my biggest ones. Also hungry a lot and much more prone to heartburn than I once was.
Introduce yourself: my name is Aisling (ash-ling). I am 34 and living with my husband and two dogs in New Hampshire.
Due date: March 29th
How you found out: my dog was being super clingy so I peed on a stick and bam!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have two adorable Labradors. One is yellow and one is chocolate. They are our whole world! I am a director or marketing. I love my job. I really just like to relax and hang out with friends and family and my dogs. I’m a sucker for trash reality shows too.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nauseous and headaches come and go. I’m super super tired. But overall I am just so happy about this experience an next adventure of our life.
Introduce yourself: Hey y’all I’m Ashley and I’m 28 Due date: 3/5 How you found out: I took a friend to the hospital for a potential pregnancy and realized I was late myself so I went home and took a test Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? This will be my first baby. We have 3 very spoiled doggies Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We like to spend a lot of time outside relaxing How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? This pregnancy was completely unplanned and a surprise but I am now getting excited. As for symptoms I have severe nausea and throwing up and fatigue otherwise we are doing well.
We’d been TTC for almost a year (charting, etc.), took a test on July 3 because we had two parties later and I wanted to see if it was safe to drink. And it was positive!
I’m 30, I live in the Seacoast of New England. Married. First-time mom, but a fur mom of 3 (2 cats and a dog). I work for a not-for-profit and also photograph weddings on my weekends!
At 9 weeks, I’m feeling exhausted and nauseous but surviving!
Introduce yourself: Hi! I’m Denise and I’m 30 living in PA.
Due date: March 19
How you found out: we were TTC for 1.5 years, finally decided to schedule a fertility appointment and a month later my period was late so I tested - no fertility appointments necessary! We are so happy, excited and feel very blessed!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be our first child, but we have two dogs - both age 11. I’m a high school math teacher at our local public school. I like gardening, cooking, and the outdoors. My husband and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary a week after we found out we were pregnant!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I was feeling very nauseous but as I entered week 8 it seems to have calmed down. I have VERY sore boobs, worst symptom so far. I’m also bloated, get belly cramps, and feel anxious occasionally.
How you found out: it wasn't really a shocker because we did IVF (three retrievals, two transfers) but our little squinter was still (and still is) kind of surreal after years of trying and a first failed transfer. the HPT was followed up by several betas to confirm. even then, we were very guarded with our expectations and emotions. even now, we're waiting a few more weeks before beginning to make plans.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband and i have co-parented pugs for about 15 years—one pair through their twilight years and, now, another pair that are essentially toddler twins (read: a handful). we work in news/comms.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? aside from being exhausted (esp starting at 8-9 weeks) and now my stomach feeling uneasy this week, i've been fortunate not to experience morning sickness, which was what i was dreading most. i'm on IVF hormones for another week or so and have been for a while, so i didn't know what's normal with my emotions anymore. i do tend to cry (happy tears), like any time my nurse or doctor has congratulated us on graduating from RE to OB, which is never not embarrassing.
How you found out: We we’re getting ready to go camping and I decided to take a test right before despite it being early in the two week wait. I was shocked to get a very faint line. We took more tests with us. Let me tell you it’s fun to take them in the woods 🤣
Tell us about yourself: My husband and I have 4 dogs that keep us busy! We love being outdoors and having day adventures. This will be our first baby as we had a miscarriage in January.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am having a lot of symptoms that like to show up randomly. The biggest symptom is wanting to sleep all the time. We are super anxious and nervous because of our miscarriage but trying to stay positive!

You might have to log out of the bump or even delete and redownload the bump app on your phone to see the name change after you change it.
Introduce yourself: hi! I’m Abby and I live in the Pittsburgh area. I’ve been hanging out on the thread for a little bit now but figured it was time to introduce myself!
Due date: 3/6/23
How you found out: we had been trying for a couple cycles and I had a few negative tests leading up to this day but something woke me up at 4am and told me to take a test - positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) my husband and I like to explore new restaurants and breweries and spend time outside trying to deplete our two year old son of his constant and unrelenting energy!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I have been so sick but since starting diclegis it’s been a lot more manageable. Without it I don’t know how I’d work. Sore boobs, exhaustion, food aversions! But know I’m lucky to have the symptoms and they usually mean baby is growing!
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I'm Brittney! 28 years old.
Due date: March 16th
How you found out: My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5ish years now and had a early miscarriage in 2019 with our first ever pregnancy. We sought help from a fertility clinic shortly after and have 4 IUIs (all failed) and 2 complete rounds of IVF under our belt. Our first IVF transfer ended in a chemical and the 2nd took and we now have our little girl on the way!💗
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No other human children but we have 4 fur babies! 3 dogs and a cat (cat thinks he's a dog). My husband and I have been married going on 6 years and met in the military. We both work in aviation and love to spend time either at home with our animals or outdoors in nature. We love snow, mountains and rainy weather.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I have had some bouts of nausea and have been very tired. Cramping at times and very bloated. Boobs are really sore also. I LOVE cheese...but since being pregnant, have not been able to eat it! All that said though.....I'm just SO happy to be pregnant! 💕
My due date is March 29th. I found out by a pregnancy test, lol. The dad is my highs school sweetheart. We dated off and on for over twenty years. Third times a charm. I work in real estate. I've had 3 miscarriages. This is my first baby. Fingers crossed. I'm 39. I am scared. But feeling no morning sickness. Just exhausted, sore boobs, moody, and sometimes a headache.
Hi! Late to the party, but felt this would be helpful. I’m 30 and expecting my first! Hubby & I are beyond excited and we’re due March 12th. Nauseated almost constantly lol but have accepted it as the new normal.
Introduce yourself: Hello My name is Kylee I’m 25 and expecting my first baby.
Due date: March 31st
How you found out: my period was late and took a pregnancy test and came up positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m an LPN working in a busy family practice office and working towards my RN. I have been with my fiancé since high school
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am feeling nauseous all day, tired, headaches, sore breasts, some food cravings starting.
Hey there! My name is Ashley, first time mama at about 10 weeks pregnant, and I am extremely late to this post but thought I would say hi anyways! :)
Due date: March 30, 2023
How you found out: I had just gotten over being sick for a little over a week. I assumed I was fatigued from the illness and kept chugging along for the rest of the week. We decided to go out for steaks and margaritas. I could only eat half my meal and got super drunk after one margarita (not normal for me) and so the next morning took a test and realized I was almost 6 weeks pregnant!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have one calico cat named Diya. Before I even found out I was pregnant she knew, she has been extra sweet and sleeps with me just about every night (which is unlike her) no matter how many times I kick her off the bed! I work as a manager at a small family owned plant nursery. Honestly this job is causing most of my issues right now as I am on my feet the whole time doing hard labor in the sweltering sun. As of late I like to rest as my hobby lol. And prenatal yoga is very enjoyable and relaxing. I have a Husband and he has been such a wonderful partner during our first pregnancy.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? My symptoms are just nausea which is not so bad. The fatigue is killing me though, my job is so strenuous that there are some days where I will close my eyes while walking and almost nod off. I had terrible constipation up until this week (been eating prunes everyday and they are a miracle!). Emotionally I have been a cry baby which has not been too bad until yesterday when I got my first panic attack and could not even leave the house today because I would break down sobbing. I am assuming hormones are taking over right about now.
How you found out: I suspected because my boobs were sore. I took a test after crying about something random 😅
Tell us about yourself: no other children. I have had one miscarriage earlier this year. I like to read and knit and my husband and I have been married a year and a half
How are you feeling: feeling pretty normal since the second trimester started. Emotionally, all over the place. I’m kind of paranoid after my former pregnancy loss and I’ve already been treated for an asymptomatic uti and an infected cut, that was most likely staph but I caught it very quickly and got antibiotics (I’ve had a staph infected cut before). I’m now paranoid that I could have infected baby somehow and not known, even though I have no signs of anything wrong. It’s just hard to stay calm when everything in my body is changing so rapidly. It’s like I don’t trust myself anymore
Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Steff and I live around Chattnooga TN
Due date: March 10 from the doc, March 17 from last period
How you found out: we’ve been trying for a few months, so I was testing :)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
My husband and I met 8 years ago, canceled our Covid wedding and got married in our yard - it was beautiful. We have two dogs who have been our family for a few years now. We love to be outside - hiking, running, camping. I love to travel! I would move all over the world if we didn’t have our anchor dogs but they’re worth it. This is our first kid!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: It’s amazing how much better I feel now at week 14! I’ve been exhausted and nauseous for months but I’m feeling okay these days. Also very excited that I only just discovered these discussion groups. So fun!
Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Kelsey. I’m 35 and live in the St. Louis area.
Due date: March 6 with baby girl
How you found out: Took a test on July 3rd when I was a couple days late for my period and had been really tired. Really changed my 4th of July plans. 😂🤦♀️
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a hairstylist. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 12 years. We have two boys (9 and 7), and two cats. I like play the guitar and video games (Zelda nerd) and have recently taken up crochet.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’ve been quite nauseous and exhausted. Emotionally, I’m feeling better now that I’ve had some time to adjust to the idea of having another baby. This was quite a surprise, and I was really upset at first! I’m starting to feel excited/happy now.
Due date: March 25ish(?), currently stationed in Alaska...
How you found out: After 4 (false) negatives I went in to be tested for PCOS. I did NOT need to be a radiologist to determine what was on the ultrasound lol. I found out at 11(ish) weeks
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband is in the Air Force and we are currently stationed in Alaska. I have a masters degree in dairy science but this is one of the few states where there is no dairy industry so I'm just working at a small animal veterinary hospital for now. I am interested in changing jobs because I miss using my brain more but that's a different topic. We currently have 3 horses (2 up here in AK, 1 down in the lower 48) and 3 dogs (a Beauceron, Australian Shepherd, and a couch-potato). We are halfway through our stay in AK and I can't wait to move back down to the lower 48! At least there is great fishing/hiking/camping up here
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Definitely swollen breasts and mood swings. I thought the mood swings were from stress but, well, nope... I was nauseous most mornings but I just rationalized it was due to coffee on a not full stomach or something. Only woke up to vomit 1 night fortunately. My husband was thrilled to find out and became emotional. It took me a long time to get over the shock because I had so many false negatives but I am slowly but surely getting over the shock and becoming excited. It's hard to see my body change but I'm making myself be active and I'm just reminding myself that this is for a good thing lol.
Introduce yourself: Hi Everyone, My name is Lexus and I’m 25 years old. I’m from Raleigh, NC!
Due date: March 27th, 2023
How you found out: I found out after deciding to take a test for fun with a friend of mine. I actually had an MRI scheduled the day after for my endometriosis surgery that was supposed to happen Sept 9th.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a Nurse and currently have been with my fiancée for about 9 years now. We recently suffered a loss this past March and now my due date is in March, it’s crazy! I love to go to church and truly sleep all day and love meeting new people.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I guess I’m still in shock. I’m in shock because I thought I was infertile or somewhat some some way not having an easy way of just getting pregnant. BUT GOD! That’s all I can say. Prayer is beyond powerful! I can finally eat again and don’t feel much symptoms aside from right sided breast pain, but I do have a history of a lumpectomy from a fibroid that was huge and have one more.. so it’s pretty normal. I also am super excited to meet my baby girl.

my husband and i have co-parented pugs for about 15 years—one pair through their twilight years and, now, another pair that are essentially toddler twins (read: a handful). we work in news/comms.
Due date: March 12th
Due Date is March 29th.
2nd pregnancy, mom to 3.5 yr old boy. Did IUI and found out on test, 2 weeks post treatment.
Having terrible night sickness this go around. Excited to be here
Hello My name is Kylee I’m 25 and expecting my first baby.
Spouse/partner?)
I have one calico cat named Diya.
Nice to meet you all!
Due date: March 6
So fun!
My name is Lexus and I’m 25 years old.
Spouse/partner?)
I’m a Nurse and currently have been with my fiancée for about 9 years now.
