  • @becks105 I'm so sorry for your losses, how devastating and heartbreaking. I hope they get you in to be monitored ASAP 🤞🏻 and fx this is your rainbow baby with no complications. I'm rooting for you 🙌🏻
  • @kalesix3 thanks. I have an appointment next week and am having major PTSD already back to when I went at 5 weeks with my ectopic.
  • @becks105 I hope it's a healing experience and completely different than last time in every way.
  • Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Bekah and I am 29.

    Due date?
    June 4th

    How did you find out?
I tested at 12 DPO and got a positive!

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I work from home in vaccine development in North Carolina. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and together for 10 years.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I have been very thirsty, had sore breasts, and have just started to feel a bit nauseas.
TW: I had a miscarriage in July and am nervous to get too excited about this pregnancy. My first doctors appointment isn’t until November 4th. I am interested to hear so many people are getting blood tests before their first appointment, is this something you requested from your OBGYN?
  • @sbaby2023 we are due date twins and I'm 29 too!
I don't think every provider offers betas as routine care and some won't even do them at all. I didn't get them with either of my other pregnancies, this is the first one and it's mainly because my RE orders them automatically if you've had 1 pregnancy loss, and in my case I've had three. Could you message your drs portal and just ask if they'll run betas for you for peace of mind?
  • Hi everyone!

Due date? 6/14 according to LMP

How did you find out? I just felt nauseous and off, so I tested way too early and it was positive. I have always just felt different and instinctively known before my missed period, but this was around 2 weeks 4 days that I got the BFP for this one- which is wild to me.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have 3 children who are 6, 4, and 13 months. No pets. Im a RN. It would seem that I really like to drive people places, but my honest to God passion is sleeping these days. DH and I have been together for 13 years and married for 9 next month.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been hit hard by fatigue and nausea early this time. Some breast pain started today. I’m trying to remind myself it’s a good thing especially since I found out so early.

I’m happy to meet all of you and I hope I get to stick around!
  • I have my first scan on Friday and I'm trying not to be nervous. My HGC levels haven't been rising as much as they should so I'm really not sure what the outcome is going to be. Trying to stay positive though.
  • @frappuccino I will be sending you all the good vibes, I hope it's good news at your scan 🤞🏻
  • @kalesix3 yah it’s exciting to see so many of us with the same due date!

Ok that is good to know. I will reach out to my doctor to see if I can get a Beta test, I think it would make me feel a lot better.
  • Wishing you the best of luck!

How have you been tracking your HGC levels ?
  • Introduce yourself: Hey,  my name is Brittni. I'm 35. I have 3 bio daughters that are 17, 10 and 7 and a step son that is 12.

    Due date? June 8th

    How did you find out?
This has been super emotional and honestly embarrassing for me. I was on birth control up until the moment I found out about the pregnancy. I had a tubal scheduled in 2 weeks and I tested out of habit just to make sure I was good to go for surgery.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):

I work as a breastfeeding Peer Counselor for WIC. I like festivals, traveling and volunteering for organizations in my community.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?

Symptoms I have just been extremely moody and everything stinks lol. Appetite has been poor but I think it's more because I'm still in shock about being pregnant. I think it's going to take a little time to get through the emotional part of this. Still really disappointed that everything I put in place fell through.
  • @thescarletmom welcome! Fellow paralegal here. Have been for coming up on ten years. I don’t see much of them on these boards for some reason. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • introduce yourself: hi! My name is Meagan. 32 YO. This is my first pregnancy. My husband and I have been married since June of last year.

    Due date? 6/11/2023

How did you find out? We started trying recently and said we would actively try when we’re were on our recent trip to Paris. Welp, turns out the city of love did the trick and I took a pregnancy test last Friday. My boobs were sore and I was really tired.

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am a property and casualty insurance broker in Milwaukee, no other kiddos but we do have 3 cats (too many) I had two when I met my husband and he had 1. My husband is from Michigan and I am from California but we both moved to the Midwest for a previous S/O. We met at a beach party. I drank too much and threw up in a hole that I had dug and he thought I was cute like a cat.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’m feeling good. A little anxious. I feel like it was too easy so I am waiting for the ball to drop. I keep taking pregnancy tests to reconfirm that we have a baby on the way.
  • Due date twins :)
  • Hello! I’m Nicole. I am a teacher, and my house is a mini zoo. I have dogs, reptiles, and fish all around my house. My due date is June 1st, and this will be my first child. I found out after I missed my period and took a test. My first OBGYN appointment is this Friday. I am so excited! The main symptoms I have been having are breast soreness, fatigue, and heartburn. I’m dreading the upcoming nausea.
  • Introduce yourself:
Hi everybody!! 💗 My name is Amanda, I’m a 28 year old (birthday 9/25) newlywed as of August 20th! I feel so beyond blessed and excited to be here!

    Due date?
    June 12th, 2023

    How did you find out?
My hubby and I hoped for a honeymoon baby, but I got my period a few weeks later (probably due to the stress from wedding planning! LOL). We also got a puppy over Labor Day weekend, so the baby-making practice was kind of put on the back burner! 🤦🏼‍♀️ We had sex no more than 6 or 7 times the whole month of September, so I expected my regular period first week of October. My older sister is expecting baby #2 and advised me to take one of her pregnancy tests she had in her linen closet this past Monday. I told her it’d be a waste of one, due to the lack of practice 😂, and BOOM there was a faint line!!!!! OMG. We screamed and cried tears of joy together and I was in the happiest state of shock ever. 🙏

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?)
This is our first human baby! 🥹 We have a 3 month old puppy who is very excited to be a big brother. I am a hairdresser & personal trainer— my husband is an electrician. We both come from the most amazing families, who we are soooooo ecstatic to share the news with. Our first (confirmation) ultrasound is Oct 27, and if all goes well we are thinking we will announce in November.

Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
We both love exercising, but I am taking it soo easy during these early stages. We do take our puppy on daily walks. I know many people who have experienced miscarriages; so I’m focusing on a healthy, nutritious diet & rest. I pray about it & think positive to keep stress reduced.

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
I am 5 weeks tomorrow, and my main symptom so far is sore breasts. I think I’m hungrier than normal.. but that may just be my mind opening up to higher food intake now that I’m “eating for two” (AKA realizing my diet is so important to the pregnancy and the baby). I feel on top of the world, honestly. I research and read a lot on pregnancy (this app is frickin amazing!) and I am expecting more symptoms weeks 8-11! I’ve also been looking up baby names/announcement ideas— which makes me cry everytime LOL. Couldn’t be more excited.
  •  Hi, nice to meet you all! I'm Amanda :)

Due date? June 9th (my wedding anniversary!)

Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):

I'm 4 years married with 3.5 year old twins and a 10 year old dog. I'm in grad school. I used to love rock climbing but it's been a long while since I've been regularly!

How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?

Not many symptoms yet at 5w2d. I'm hoping that this means there's just one in there this time 🙏. A friend of mine gave birth to triplets this summer after having twins!

Looking forward to getting to know you all :)

  • @dedtilapia that's so sweet 🥺 we are traveling to see family this week and not planning to tell them so I've been trying not to hype my 2 year old up about babies so he doesn't give it away but I can't wait for him to really start understanding! He's obsessed with babies.
  • Hello ladies!! First Pregnancy here!!

    EDD: 6/16/23

Took two tests yesterday after being 7 days late. I’m extremely regular! I knew something was off.

I am 34 years old and my husband will be 34 in November. We have been together for 11 years and married for 7. Never have we had a scare. One year into our marriage we became emergency foster/adopt parents to our now 17yo daughter.
My husband is a Game Warden (wildlife officer), and I am working on getting my license for insurance agent and supposed to start on Monday (17th). That timing really is not the best.

Only major symptom I am having is bloating and it’s causing some discomfort. I do have enlarged and tender breasts but nothing severe.

I have already started moisturizer on my stomach, I’m a very dry skinned person so I’m doing my best to start early. Any tricks are appreciated.

Hoping for a boy here! ⚾️💙💚
  • @ccmrc143 you are not the only one with some intense bloating this time around! This is my third and I was just thinking I look like 12 weeks along with how bloated I am! Almost embarrassing haha.

@smalone53 I have also started lotioning the belly. I didn't get any stretch marks (except on the bottom side of my boobs) with my first two, and now I'm scared that because I was insistent on a third I'll end up with tons! My husband has them on his hips and I think some other places, and I've never once thought anything negative of his, but for some reason it feels different when it's my body.
  • @thescarletmom wow I could have written that! My partner actually has more stretch marks than me and I never notice them, but when it's my body I'm suddenly hyper insecure. Gotta love how programmed to have unrealistic body expectations we all are 😔 society is so unkind to mothers and their bodies, it's a shame.
I do think if you didn't have them with your first two you'll probably be okay this time around!
