TW: cautiously joining this group, as this is my fourth pregnancy this year… hoping this is the one that makes it 🙏🏻🤞🏻
Due date: June 14 ish
How did you find out: tested early on impulse 10dpo, very faint line.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): 5th grade teacher in the suburbs of Chicago. Proud mom to an amazing 3 year old little girl. Married 5 years.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally): physically… a little crampy at times. Enhanced smell. Waves of mild nausea here and there. Extremely tired!! Emotionally… well, it’s been a journey. Our daughter came to us so easily. Not that we assumed that would be the case for #2, but we certainly didn’t anticipate it to be this challenging. TW: in January, I had a D&C for a blighted ovum. June, a chemical pregnancy, and July, I lost my right fallopian tube to an ectopic. So, anxiety is high and optimism is low. Because of my ectopic, I need to call right away for early monitoring because we obviously need to try and protect my left tube. Hoping I can get in for some blood draws in the next couple days.
@becks105 I'm so sorry for your losses, how devastating and heartbreaking. I hope they get you in to be monitored ASAP 🤞🏻 and fx this is your rainbow baby with no complications. I'm rooting for you 🙌🏻
Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Bekah and I am 29.
Due date? June 4th
How did you find out? I tested at 12 DPO and got a positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I work from home in vaccine development in North Carolina. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and together for 10 years.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I have been very thirsty, had sore breasts, and have just started to feel a bit nauseas. TW: I had a miscarriage in July and am nervous to get too excited about this pregnancy. My first doctors appointment isn’t until November 4th. I am interested to hear so many people are getting blood tests before their first appointment, is this something you requested from your OBGYN?
@sbaby2023 we are due date twins and I'm 29 too! I don't think every provider offers betas as routine care and some won't even do them at all. I didn't get them with either of my other pregnancies, this is the first one and it's mainly because my RE orders them automatically if you've had 1 pregnancy loss, and in my case I've had three. Could you message your drs portal and just ask if they'll run betas for you for peace of mind?
How did you find out? I just felt nauseous and off, so I tested way too early and it was positive. I have always just felt different and instinctively known before my missed period, but this was around 2 weeks 4 days that I got the BFP for this one- which is wild to me.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have 3 children who are 6, 4, and 13 months. No pets. Im a RN. It would seem that I really like to drive people places, but my honest to God passion is sleeping these days. DH and I have been together for 13 years and married for 9 next month.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’ve been hit hard by fatigue and nausea early this time. Some breast pain started today. I’m trying to remind myself it’s a good thing especially since I found out so early.
I’m happy to meet all of you and I hope I get to stick around!
How did you find out? At home preggo tests + late period!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): no other kids, never been pregnant so no clue what to expect! This is baby #1 for us. Excited for it all! But also scared.
We have 2 dogs though, got another one this year to keep other one company when we have kids.
I work in tech!
My husband Andrew also works in tech! We’ve been together 9 years this winter, married for 4.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I feel good! A little tiny bit bloated and some cramping but other than that optimistic and just a bit anxious!
Introduce yourself: hello Gemini and cancer mamas!!! I’m salam, 29 years old, first pregnancy!
Due date? June 4th according to possible date of conception
How did you find out? Currently in Barcelona for my husband and i’s one year anniversary. We found out on our second day here so it’s been quite the trip.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): This is my first pregnancy, we live in Chicago. We love traveling, we’re huge foodies, enjoy biking/Pilates!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Feeling extremely tired, a little bit emotional and these hot flashes! My goodness! I’ve needed to shower 2-3x everyday!!!!
I have my first scan on Friday and I'm trying not to be nervous. My HGC levels haven't been rising as much as they should so I'm really not sure what the outcome is going to be. Trying to stay positive though.
Introduce yourself: Hey, my name is Brittni. I'm 35. I have 3 bio daughters that are 17, 10 and 7 and a step son that is 12.
Due date? June 8th
How did you find out? This has been super emotional and honestly embarrassing for me. I was on birth control up until the moment I found out about the pregnancy. I had a tubal scheduled in 2 weeks and I tested out of habit just to make sure I was good to go for surgery.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I work as a breastfeeding Peer Counselor for WIC. I like festivals, traveling and volunteering for organizations in my community.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Symptoms I have just been extremely moody and everything stinks lol. Appetite has been poor but I think it's more because I'm still in shock about being pregnant. I think it's going to take a little time to get through the emotional part of this. Still really disappointed that everything I put in place fell through.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I'm am a mother of 3 looking forward to this 4th child. My children have been asking for a sibling and we have a kitten 😸. Not much I'm into I work from home also like to play piano and into crafting.Im still in aww with this news 😊 my youngest is 5
How did you find out: I had been nauseous for 4 days before my period. The day it was due (Monday), I wiped pink and assumed my period had arrived. Put in a disc, but 12 hours later/the next morning it came out "clean". I was suspicious, but had already peed and didn't want to waste 2 tests by not using FMU (knowing I would end up wanting to test again). I was convinced it was nothing but took a test yesterday and it was positive. I was in shock and started crying. My husband and I weren't decided on another baby yet (me yes, him tentatively no). I woke him up sobbing lol but so far he's taken the news of our little surprise well. I'm sure he'll freak out more once the reality sets in. I'm due 4 days after his birthday, but I've delivered early with both our previous babes. So he may get a birthday buddy!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband and I have been married 3.5 years. He is step-dad to our newly 6 year old J (his dad, my ex, is in the picture but immature and flaky) and daddy to our 2.5 year old E and obviously baby haha. We have two cats, Zephyr and Freya. I'm a paralegal and getting ready to head off to law school in ~2 years. Now with a tiny one in tow! We love Marvel in our house, and while I have other interests, I don't have any time for them right now!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally): Emotionally, I'm all over the place. I'm PGAL, so very anxious but also excited. I am nauseated and so tired no matter how much I sleep! I have had HG every pregnancy so I know my nausea is going to get way worse faaast, so I'm getting on meds ASAP. Despite all that, feeling grateful and calm *most* of the time (somehow??)
introduce yourself: hi! My name is Meagan. 32 YO. This is my first pregnancy. My husband and I have been married since June of last year.
Due date? 6/11/2023
How did you find out? We started trying recently and said we would actively try when we’re were on our recent trip to Paris. Welp, turns out the city of love did the trick and I took a pregnancy test last Friday. My boobs were sore and I was really tired.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am a property and casualty insurance broker in Milwaukee, no other kiddos but we do have 3 cats (too many) I had two when I met my husband and he had 1. My husband is from Michigan and I am from California but we both moved to the Midwest for a previous S/O. We met at a beach party. I drank too much and threw up in a hole that I had dug and he thought I was cute like a cat.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I’m feeling good. A little anxious. I feel like it was too easy so I am waiting for the ball to drop. I keep taking pregnancy tests to reconfirm that we have a baby on the way.
Hey friends! My name is Chrissy, I am 37 & I am 5.5 weeks pregnant with my first child! I found out 2 weeks ago. I thought my period was coming but it didn’t and I felt like it was so I took a test… and another test… and 6 more…. You get it😅
I’m super freaking nervous & introducing myself cautiously because of my age and it kinda just came out of nowhere after 2 months of trying - I’m gonna need to see it on the ultrasound before I start telling my friends and family 🥰
My due date, according to this app is June 7th! Legit perfect for a teacher like me!
If anyone has any advice or insight on pregnancy over 35, hit me up. Good luck to everyone on our journey of becoming parents!♥️
Hello! I’m Nicole. I am a teacher, and my house is a mini zoo. I have dogs, reptiles, and fish all around my house. My due date is June 1st, and this will be my first child. I found out after I missed my period and took a test. My first OBGYN appointment is this Friday. I am so excited! The main symptoms I have been having are breast soreness, fatigue, and heartburn. I’m dreading the upcoming nausea.
Introduce yourself: Hi everybody!! 💗 My name is Amanda, I’m a 28 year old (birthday 9/25) newlywed as of August 20th! I feel so beyond blessed and excited to be here!
Due date? June 12th, 2023
How did you find out? My hubby and I hoped for a honeymoon baby, but I got my period a few weeks later (probably due to the stress from wedding planning! LOL). We also got a puppy over Labor Day weekend, so the baby-making practice was kind of put on the back burner! 🤦🏼♀️ We had sex no more than 6 or 7 times the whole month of September, so I expected my regular period first week of October. My older sister is expecting baby #2 and advised me to take one of her pregnancy tests she had in her linen closet this past Monday. I told her it’d be a waste of one, due to the lack of practice 😂, and BOOM there was a faint line!!!!! OMG. We screamed and cried tears of joy together and I was in the happiest state of shock ever. 🙏
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job?) This is our first human baby! 🥹 We have a 3 month old puppy who is very excited to be a big brother. I am a hairdresser & personal trainer— my husband is an electrician. We both come from the most amazing families, who we are soooooo ecstatic to share the news with. Our first (confirmation) ultrasound is Oct 27, and if all goes well we are thinking we will announce in November.
Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): We both love exercising, but I am taking it soo easy during these early stages. We do take our puppy on daily walks. I know many people who have experienced miscarriages; so I’m focusing on a healthy, nutritious diet & rest. I pray about it & think positive to keep stress reduced.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am 5 weeks tomorrow, and my main symptom so far is sore breasts. I think I’m hungrier than normal.. but that may just be my mind opening up to higher food intake now that I’m “eating for two” (AKA realizing my diet is so important to the pregnancy and the baby). I feel on top of the world, honestly. I research and read a lot on pregnancy (this app is frickin amazing!) and I am expecting more symptoms weeks 8-11! I’ve also been looking up baby names/announcement ideas— which makes me cry everytime LOL. Couldn’t be more excited.
How did you find out? Pregnancy test after missing my period.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?):
I'm 4 years married with 3.5 year old twins and a 10 year old dog. I'm in grad school. I used to love rock climbing but it's been a long while since I've been regularly!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Not many symptoms yet at 5w2d. I'm hoping that this means there's just one in there this time 🙏. A friend of mine gave birth to triplets this summer after having twins!
How did you find out? I felt pinching and cramps a week before my period was due so I decided to test early. I got a faint line on 9 DPO and darker since; including a clear blue digital on 11DPO.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a spouse, a dog, and work from home.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I often feel hungry but full at the same time. I have sore boobs depending on the day. Emotionally, I am excited and just want my first ultrasound day to get here to confirm things are going ok, but that is three weeks away still.
Hiiii. Can’t believe I’m here. I’m Madds. Husband had a vasectomy 2 years ago, but SURPRISE!! This is my 3rd baby. I am absolutely elated. My due date is ~~ June 8th. I’ve been married for 9 years, stay at home mom with my youngest ❤️ we also have 2 dogs and a cat. Gonna have a full house!
Symptom wise, I’m cramping on and off, sore boobs on and off, already heart burn?!, and extra thirsty.
Introduce yourself: 39yo mother of one daughter (4yo). I will be 40 when I deliver my second child! We have been trying for our second child for 2 years. Had 2 Miscarriages last year. Praying this one sticks!
Due date?
June 14
How did you find out?
Positive pregnancy test the morning my period was due (we have been trying for 2 years)! Had 2 Miscarriages last year. Praying this one sticks!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Mild abdominal cramping that comes and goes. Tired. Can’t sleep. Excited! No other symptoms at this time.
Introduce yourself: I didn’t expect to be here again… i had a mixup with my birth control though and here I am 😅
Due date? June 20
How did you find out? I took several tests today and it’s definitely a pink line…. I took one in the afternoon on a whim after a friend was asking when I would take one. (I told her we had an accident)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I’m 37 and I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old. I’ll be 38 when I give birth! I have 2 cats and I roast coffee and make solid gold jewelry. My husband likes to knit and he’s 2 years younger than I am.
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Oof. I’ve been really gassy today, and really tired lately. But mostly now I’m feeling nervous and scared. We weren’t planning on having more and I worry about juggling 3 children. I also worry that I might accept that I’m pregnant and get excited but then get depressed and sad if it doesn’t turn out for some reason. So yeah I’m afraid I feel lots of things right now and I think I’ll feel better after a good ultrasound in the future.
I used a first response 6 days sooner test, but I haven’t gone to the doctor yet.
I’m waiting to be around 5-6 weeks pregnant before making an appt.
I am married and have a 2, almost 3 year old. We are so excited to potentially have a new baby. My 2 year old keeps saying there is a baby in mamas tummy!
Introduce yourself: Hi my name is Frances. I am 33 and cautiously optimistic. ***TW***
I was due with a baby boy july of this year but tx in March due to multiple fetal anomalies.
Due date? June 20th
How did you find out? Home pregnancy test.. will confirm tomorrow with labs.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): my husband and I have been together for 15 years we have a 13 year old daughter and a 1 year old goldendoodle
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? I am on an emotional rollercoaster right now. I keep getting excited then really scared. Symptom wise I am just super bloated and a little more sleepy than usual.
@dedtilapia that's so sweet 🥺 we are traveling to see family this week and not planning to tell them so I've been trying not to hype my 2 year old up about babies so he doesn't give it away but I can't wait for him to really start understanding! He's obsessed with babies.
My name is Bere Galvan from El Paso, tx I’m due June 1st do I barely made to this group I found out when my period was late so I took a pregnancy test just to ease my mind and quite the opposite I’m recently married and I work full time. I enjoy small road trips, camping and cooking. I’m 37 and this will be my first child, hopefully not last
How did you find out? I had a dream I tested positive 😮 as soon as I woke up I took a test and within seconds I had a second pink line
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I got married in June and my husband and I decided it was now or never. We never expected it to happen this quickly and I am so thankful! I work as a wedding coordinator so my life for the last 6 months has been NUTS! I’m down to the last 5 weeks of a crazy season and to be honest, I’ve been kind of thankful that the burnout has given me an “excuse” for why I’ve been feeling tired, cranky, sore, etc!
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? Sore boobs (which are also HUGE already), nausea, tiredness (but that just might be my job). I’m also pretty anxious since this is my first and I’m trying not to tell anyone until at least after my first scan next week so I’m feeling a little lost without a close support system.
Hi! So excited to be here and get to know you all! Congrats to everyone ❤️
Due date? June 22
How did you find out? I have been tracking my cycle and my period was due on Monday! I took a midday test on Tuesday and it was negative, but still no period. Pretty sure the two cups of tea and giant glass of water were to blame. So I tested this morning and BFP!!!!!!!! Husband doesn’t know yet. I’m planning ways to tell him!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): we have a son who is 17 months old, and we just moved across the country to be closer to family. I work as an editor. For fun I love to bake and go on walks to the local coffee shop
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)? My first suspicious symptom was actually last weekend before BFP. I had a total meltdown about something so silly. Now that I know for sure, I really don’t have any other symptoms besides major bloating. My cute new jeans are uncomfortable and I have been unbuttoning them haha. It’s CRAZY how much more bloating I have at just 4 weeks in my second go around. I look the same as I did at 10 weeks last time 😂 Starting to get prepared for what’s to come and will be buying saltines and ginger ale asap.
Took two tests yesterday after being 7 days late. I’m extremely regular! I knew something was off.
I am 34 years old and my husband will be 34 in November. We have been together for 11 years and married for 7. Never have we had a scare. One year into our marriage we became emergency foster/adopt parents to our now 17yo daughter. My husband is a Game Warden (wildlife officer), and I am working on getting my license for insurance agent and supposed to start on Monday (17th). That timing really is not the best.
Only major symptom I am having is bloating and it’s causing some discomfort. I do have enlarged and tender breasts but nothing severe.
I have already started moisturizer on my stomach, I’m a very dry skinned person so I’m doing my best to start early. Any tricks are appreciated.
@ccmrc143 you are not the only one with some intense bloating this time around! This is my third and I was just thinking I look like 12 weeks along with how bloated I am! Almost embarrassing haha.
@smalone53 I have also started lotioning the belly. I didn't get any stretch marks (except on the bottom side of my boobs) with my first two, and now I'm scared that because I was insistent on a third I'll end up with tons! My husband has them on his hips and I think some other places, and I've never once thought anything negative of his, but for some reason it feels different when it's my body.
@thescarletmom wow I could have written that! My partner actually has more stretch marks than me and I never notice them, but when it's my body I'm suddenly hyper insecure. Gotta love how programmed to have unrealistic body expectations we all are 😔 society is so unkind to mothers and their bodies, it's a shame. I do think if you didn't have them with your first two you'll probably be okay this time around!

Not many symptoms yet at 5w2d. I'm hoping that this means there's just one in there this time 🙏. A friend of mine gave birth to triplets this summer after having twins!
Looking forward to getting to know you all
How did you find out?
39yo mother of one daughter (4yo). I will be 40 when I deliver my second child! We have been trying for our second child for 2 years. Had 2 Miscarriages last year. Praying this one sticks!
Due date?
How did you find out?
How are you feeling (Any symptoms, emotionally)?
Mild abdominal cramping that comes and goes. Tired. Can’t sleep. Excited! No other symptoms at this time.
Due date?
My name is Bere Galvan from El Paso, tx
I’m due June 1st do I barely made to this group
I found out when my period was late so I took a pregnancy test just to ease my mind and quite the opposite
I’m recently married and I work full time. I enjoy small road trips, camping and cooking. I’m 37 and this will be my first child, hopefully not last
Due date June 3
EDD: 6/16/23
Hoping for a boy here! ⚾️💙💚
I do think if you didn't have them with your first two you'll probably be okay this time around!
