Introduce yourself: Hello! I’m 29 years old and expecting my first baby. This is my first pregnancy, so I’m very nervous and excited!
Due date: March 16th — according to my tracker. My first appointment is on the 26th, so I’ll have a better idea then.
How you found out: I had my annual gyno appointment on March 5th and had a faint positive. Took a blood test that day and an at-home-test on March 9th that confirmed it. We have been trying since January, so it was exciting.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I am a dance teacher in NYC, my partner and I have been together for four years, and I have the best little kitty. She’ll be 10 in October and I’ve had her since she was 2 months old.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: I’m exhausted. My only other symptoms are extreme bloating, constipation, and breast soreness. I’ve basically gone up a cup size. I’m really excited, but I feel like my partner is not on the same wave and it worries and upsets me. I really don’t know what to do. Things have been so tense since I found out, and I feel like it’s already negatively affecting our little one. He hasn’t spoken a word to me since I got home today and I’m traveling for work next week and won’t see him at all. I just feel very alone.
@lighttothevoid I'm sorry things are so stressful right now. There's a good chance that he's just processing everything. It's BIG news with LOTS of changes even when planned. I know with our first my H got very serious and quiet because he was internalizing all his worries and the magnitude of everything. Once he came around he was amazing. Hopefully your H comes around soon so you both can share the excitement together. ❤️
Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader. , 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Introduce yourself: I'm 27 and my husband is 31, this is out first baby. We have been ttc for 6 years. Fertility treatments were postponed due to Covid so this baby is truly a miracle.
Due date: March 9th for now!
How you found out: I felt like my period was coming, but my husband said my skin looked nice! My PMS skin is normally terrible so I decided to test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) No other children, 2 cats and I'm a reptile keeper for a hobby! I'm finally going back to work after a long lay off, so hopefully that'll give me an excuse to be more active!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Emotionally it feels like this isn't happening 😂 Pregnancy and being parents feel like things that happen to other people, not me. I'm really gassy, but other than that my skin is looking nicer!
Hi! I’m Meaghan, 32 years old and this is our first pregnancy! My husband and i met in college and have been married for 6.5 years and together for 12.5. We’ve been trying for ten months and it’s been 10 months of ultrasounds, MRIs and fertility clinic visits due to abnormal bleeding. I was supposed to have surgery next week to remove uterine polyps and have a laparoscopy and instead got pregnant with a little luck from a trip to Greece!
Due date March 14 but getting my first ultrasound on Monday!
I had a blood test done a week and a half ago that was negative for pregnancy but by this week I still hadn’t gotten my period so I decided to test (6 times) and all were POSITIVE! Honestly I’m still in disbelief and just praying that baby and I are healthy and safe!
I’m a receptionist at a fitness club and teach yoga and my husband is in finance. We have 2 dogs, a 6 year old golden and 12 year old mini Aussie that are my first babies!
Currently experiencing fatigue, sore breasts, and super thirsty all the time!!!! Praying I am among the lucky few who don’t have nausea or morning sickness becuase I have a diagnosed phobia of vomiting 😬
@meaghan314 golden mamas unite! I never had any vomiting or nausea with my first pregnancy, so maybe you’ll get lucky! This pregnancy I’ve been nauseous but haven’t vomited 🤞🏻
Hi, I’m Octavia. I’m 24 years old. This is my second pregnancy and live in the humid Midwest.
Due Date: 3/08/2023
I found out at three weeks, the same time I did with my daughter. Chocolate gave me acid reflux and I was sleeping 14 hours at a time. So I I took a test June 22nd and it came back negative. I then took one at 3:30am on the 24th and got a faint positive. Went to my local health clinic and they confirmed my pregnancy.
I work in a cheese factory, I know the forbidden fruit, for 12 hours a day standing. So I’m going to say this pregnancy will be similar to my first one. I worked all the way up until I had the first one. The first one was also born a month early. I have a feeling this one will be stubborn lol. My DD is 4 this year and she’s just so excited. She has carried around my PPT since I took it. She’s ready to be a big sister. She’s been wanting this for a while now. Me and her dad had split last year. He’s been wanting to keep her out of this whole pregnancy since I found out, only because he’s mad that it’s not his, I guess. We have 50/50 of her. This pregnancy just happened to come from a fling and I told potential dad that I didn’t expect anything to come out of all this.
I’m feeling pretty excited, nervous, scared, and stressed. I’m six weeks and started the morning sickness, headaches, low iron, and itchy and painful boobs. But I’ll be alright. I do go to therapy so I’m really hoping I won’t get PPD as bad as I did with my DD. I think that’s what I’m scared of the most.

I hope the therapy helps ward off ppd and ppa. I'm glad you're making yourself a priority.
Due date: March 20, but expecting Nugget to be a little early because of my health.
How you found out: I had pregnancy symptoms at week 3 so I took a test. Got my BFP almost a week before my period was due. 🤣
Tell us about yourself: I'm 33 and my husband and I have 2 fur babies. This is our first pregnancy. I work as an ADHD coach, but I am also a former attorney.
How are you feeling: EXHAUSTED! The fatigue is kicking my butt. Also having quite a bit of smell aversion and nausea. On the other hand, my chronic migraine has significantly improved which is really great because I can't take any of my rescue medications during pregnancy. 🤷🏻♀️
Introduce yourself: Hi everyone! I'm 36, DH is 42 and we live in Chicago.
Due date: March 17 according to LMP
How you found out: We've been trying for awhile, but I didn't think it was going to work for us (we used Clomid for DD) so I was just taking a test for the hell of it and got a positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work in medicine, and really enjoy what I do. We have one daughter (15 months), who is so amazing. I like to bake and I'm getting into cake decorating. I've also been on an organization tear lately, I just did our pantry this weekend. I also like to read, go for walks and lounge by Lake Michigan.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Not too bad; some breast tenderness/fullness, waves of nausea and low cramps/pinches. I'm pretty exhausted, by 10 am I need a nap everyday haha.
I was cleaning out my bathroom and found a rogue pregnancy test and I thought ‘what the heck I’ll take it for fun’ and forgot about it. 20 min later I checked and it said pregnant.
This will hopefully be my first baby, but second pregnancy. I lost my first at around 10 weeks through a missed miscarriage in March this year. Had really tough time after that. I have 3 dogs and have been living in my house doing projects for a year now with my husband.
I am feeling okay. Some usual symptoms for being almost 5 weeks but nothing crazy yet. I’m extremely anxious and pessimistic in general and this has applied to my pregnancy this time around too considering how the last one went.
Due date: March 15th- same as my 2nd baby (this is my 4th!)
How you found out: tested at home while my husband was out of country. Our wedding anniversary fell during that time so I sent him the gift of a photo of a stick I peed on lol.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and have been married for 10 years. We both work for the DOJ. Our children are Amelia (8), Mohamed (3), Elias (almost 2!) and March baby ❤️
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Emotional? Lol yup. Also sore boobs. More so than with my boys so I’m hopeful it’s another girl.
Introduce yourself: Hi, I’m Katie. I'm 35 and live in Colombia (husband's from here, I'm from the US).
Due date: March 1
How you found out: I had a MC on May 26 at around 7 weeks and spent most of June in the US, visiting family. While there, I realized that I missed my period (not surprising ... thought it make take a while for my cycles to re-stabilize after the MC) and that my BBT kept going up, which had me nervously hopeful. I held off on taking a test till I was back home (DPO 23!), then did it and let my husband be the first to look at the test and then tell me. Not expecting this at all. We'd been trying for 1.5 years at that point (with one chemical in the middle), so having two pregnancies back to back has been quite the shock. I have a suspicion about what finally "fixed" things for us, but it could totally just be superstition/magical thinking on my part!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married for 5 years. This will be our first child. I work as a freelance translator/editor/subtitler. He's an engineer. I like board games, movies, reading, cooking/baking. It's been a while, but I'm also crazy about dancing (salsa, cha-cha-cha, bachata).
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Almost no symptoms. A few twinges in the breast/pelvic areas. A bit of tiredness that could easily be caused by other things. Emotionally, I feel skeptical and cautious but hopeful.
I found out on 2 days ago. I was feeling extremely tired, I was having pelvic pain basically the period symptoms. I didn’t expect my pregnancy as I did all the precautions I even took plan B.
My husband is 35 we’ve been married for 1 year and a half. This is our first baby.We have a dog who is sick. I was a Midwife and now I’m working as office administrator. I like hiking, movies, cake decoration.
I have no severe symptoms only back pain and sore breasts, but I’m so emotional and sensitive, I just feel that I want to cry all the time 60% because I’m not ready yet for this new chapter and 40% because of my sick dog. I’m trying to be more positive for the baby , I think I need some time. I didn’t tell my family or friends about this big news I just wanna make sure first that everything is good, so I’m glad that I’m sharing these details with someone who may understand me .
Introduce yourself: Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve been here but I’m 36, DH is 36, and we found out Saturday we have a surprise baby on the way!
Due date: Late March-ish
How you found out: Nothing glamorous, I missed my period and POAS and it was positive. I told DH immediately and we freaked out together.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Im an NP at a hospital and we have two kiddos, DS turned 5 in March (and I’m pretty sure this LO is due around his birthday) and DD is turning four next month. Before my kids I had two MMC in 2015/2016.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Well, this was unplanned and I literally sold most of my baby gear at our garage sale last week so I am freaking out but slowly getting used to the idea of a third kid. I do best with difficult situations by planning so I’ve been looking at new baby gear that’s come out and also we need at least one new car so that’s fun!
I feel great other than a headache I got over the weekend but if memory serves me my nausea doesn’t kick in until week 6-7.
I also still have PGAL brain despite two live kids but trying to be optimistic.
Introduce yourself: Hi I’m Amanda. I’m in my early 30s.
Due date: Mid-late March
How you found out: It was a surprise even though we were trying lol. My husband and I had been trying for about 10 months. I had a regular GYN appointment right after my period was over and she said I could start talking to the fertility folks. I set that up right around the time my next period would have been. I had pretty much had given up on being able to do it on our own and was just waiting for them to say I should talk to someone. I was sick during the fertile window so we didn’t try very much this time around. I had my appointment with the fertility doc and he said the timing was great and that once my period started we could start testing. I even told him there was no way I was pregnant because I was sick and I had some cramping blah blah blah. I even bought plane tickets for a wedding that night. My husband went out of town for work for a couple days. And I was like let me just check with one of the cheap pregnancy tests and BFP!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have one dog who is about to be 10 years old. She is the sweetest. Both of us work in data analysis, but not at the same company. I love to cook, hike, watch science fiction, and play D&D.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’m doing alright. Symptoms are mild at 5w3d. Feeling anxious because I had a chemical pregnancy already during the 10 months of trying, but I think I’m working through it okay.
Introduce yourself: hi I’m Lauren! 28, From Ontario Canada
Due date: March 15, 2023
How you found out: missed period and took a test!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Happily married, one dog, no job, love to travel, spend time with family, and eat good food
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I still feel like it is surreal. But very excited for baby. Mild nausea in the afternoons starting around 3-4pm, some headaches, had some light pinching cramping over the last week but not bad, and boobs much larger and sore, nipples/areolas larger already as well. So far I’m finding I get more nauseous when I eat sugary foods, craving more healthy meals!!
Introduce yourself: I’m Kristen! 38 years old and this is a surprise pregnancy. I was in between birth control methods (IUD to pill). I never thought a quick window would result in pregnancy, as two years ago my husband and I tried for about 6months (post IUD) and had no luck. We thought it just wasn’t meant to be. SURPRISE!
Due date: 3/5/23
How you found out: I thought my new BC pill was having awful effects on me. I was exhausted and super nauseous at night. Spoiler: it wasn’t the pill
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have an 8 years old son and 6 year old daughter - and a Cunucu pup from Aruba named Lulani. I teach 3rd grade and my husband is a finance director for a car dealership. I love riding on my Peloton and strength training, but I’ve found my HR getting super high, super fast so I’m trying to take it easy for the first trimester.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? FATIGUED…nauseous when I’m hungry and nauseous after I eat…so that’s awesome. My breasts are super sore, too. Walking upstairs get my HR to like 120 bpm so I’m super frustrated with that…but it’s all good. I barely had any symptoms with my other pregnancies so I’m chopping it up to my “advanced maternal age” ::eye roll:: I’m THRILLED to be in summer break until September but worried about telling my boss that I’ll be out on maternity leave. We are so short staffed and students are so behind because of COVID.
Omg, sorry for my rants. Excited to journey with you all!
Introduce yourself: Hey mamas! I’m Knequila and I’m 31
Due date: EDD is March 29 based on my LMP but I have my due date US scheduled for mid august
How you found out: My husband and I went to the urgent care for my feeling off. My kidneys and liver were hurting. Annnnddd the nurse came back with the news of our positive pregnancy test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have 4 other kiddos, no pets, and I’m a program manager. I like to read, relax due to this first trimester fatigue lol, and watch tv or spend time with my husband. I am recently married to my best friend of 8 years.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I feel excited and happy and just overjoyed but also annoyed bc I know my mom will not be happy bc she never has been happy or even supportive of any pregnancy announcements. Other than that one negative I love my midwife and our home birth plan and am excited to bring another life into our family.
I had a 5day blastocyst FET IVF transfer on 7-13 and had a positive beta blood test yesterday! According to the doc's magic-math, I'm ~4 weeks pregnant with a due date of 3-31-23
This poppyseed is a baby girl and will be my second daughter. Older sis is almost 2!
Hey everyone, I’m Bria! I’m 36 and this will be my first 🤞🏻 - we’ve been TTC since June 2020, and about a year after that found out I have Endo, which was at least good to know why things weren’t happening! In the last 8 months we’ve done massive renovations on our condo, gotten married, and gone through IVF all at the same time (wouldn’t recommend cramming 3 big life events together like that lol)!
Due date: ~ March 25
How you found out: I tested at home 2 days before my hcg blood test at the fertility clinic, and got my first ever positive! Then got a really great hcg level at my blood test. Hopefully the next blood test will be equally good!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I work from home for myself as a business coach for other digital service providers, I freaking love it but it’s been hard to focus on with so many big things happening this year. My hubs (34) and I got married at the end of May. He’s super outdoorsy and I am… not lol. Much more artsy.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Physically things haven’t been that bad beyond the progesterone injections which sometimes leaves me unable to walk the next day. I’ve had a tiny bit of fatigue and mild bloating, but so far nothing else, which actually makes me a bit anxious. Emotionally it doesn’t feel real, and I don’t think it will until we have the first scan. My mood has definitely been on the lower side, and I’m really watching out for any continuing signs of depression as I already take antidepressants — but it could be just a bad couple days!
How you found out: We've been TTC for 4ish months and my period was supposed to come yesterday and it didn't and so I took a test this morning and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have 1 son who is 2.5. I am a SAHM who also substitute teaches. H and I like to travel when we can. I had a great experience with my Feb 2020 BMB and am hoping for another great experience here!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I've been feeling fine mostly, a little nauseous in the mornings. I've been having some cramping pain which is probably the little babe implanting and my body doing all the things. I am excited to call the doc tomorrow morning to see when they want me to come in.
Introduce yourself: Hi All! I am very *hesitantly* joining this group. I am 29 and live in Alaska. Only about 4.5 weeks along at this point and after a MMC at 8 weeks in January last year I am VERY anxious.
Due date: March 30th
How you found out: We have been trying for about 3 months after I had a mcc back in January. I took a pt on a whim and it was negative so I just went on with my life. Several days later my boobs hurt more than usual compared to regular PMS and that same night I had a major cramp that woke me up in the middle of the night. I decided to test the next day and it was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I have been married for 5 years and live in Alaska. I am originally from Wisconsin but moved to the last frontier for work in March of 2018. I am a radiation therapist and manage a radiation oncology clinic here. I love to cook/bake and spend time with my horse in my free time along with hiking and running and lifting.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? SO ANXIOUS. PGAL is a total mind f*ck. I feel like I overthink every symptom or lack there of...breasts are tender and sore and I am continually comparing how I feel to how I felt with my first pregnancy that ended. Crossing my fingers and hoping all turns out ok.
We have been trying for 7 months, and we were so thankful but also in a bit of disbelief this month after having a chemical pregnancy last month. We will be so relieved to go in for our first appointment next month. I keep asking God to send me little signs and I think going to sleep convinced my husband’s hands smelled like mayonnaise (never has he ever smelled of Mayo) and waking up with serious food aversions after days and days of BFP tests finally gave me the courage to come and say hello to this group. What a blessing! This little one will be #5, and joins a beautiful blended family. It’s been over 10 years since my last baby and nearly 20 for my husband. Some of this we are relaxed about, but some products have changed and there are many things we need refreshers on. I cannot wait to tell his or her older siblings and know that this baby will be so loved. We are a boisterous Catholic family, and in my free time I love to spend time with our children, read, cook, exercise, and be outside.
Normal early symptoms so far. The smell part makes me laugh because we have prayed for this child for so long, and I’ll take the funky smells any day of the week for this opportunity!

You might have to log out of the bump, or even delete and re-install the app on your phone for the new username to show up after you've changed it.
Introduce yourself: hi everyone! I’m Jessi, 36, from CT and a little late to the game :) but excited to be here!
Due date: March 12
How you found out: freaking out after being late for five days. Grabbed two pregnancy tests from cvs at 6am and made my husband look. Lol. We tried on our honeymoon, never thought it would happen right away and I was shocked (understatement).
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) this is our first baby, we just got married in June. We have three dogs so having a baby with no fur will be new for us Lolol we love to CrossFit together and I love to cook!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nervous and excited! Exhausted!!! And occasionally nauseous but overall very grateful. :)
@sprink21 I'm replying to your question here from your into post. Hope you don't mind. My first I had a HUGE aversion to meat in the first tri. It was awful cause it was summer and grilling season. Couldn't stand the smell. Hasn't happened yet this go around.

@sprink21 bacon is usually my first aversion followed very quickly by the rest of meat with every single pregnancy so far including this one. The only meat I can tolerate slightly has been sliced roast beef. Everything else is a nope!

introduce yourself: Hi I’m Courtney! I’m 31 this week
Due date: March 21st - 26th (very uneven cycles here so not quite sure)
How you found out: my husband and I been trying for a few years but we were convinced we’d need to go to a fertility clinic which we planned to do later this year. I have late periods all the time so I took a pregnancy test last week just in case (done this a hundred times and they’ve always been negative). This time I saw two lines for the first time ever - we were in complete disbelief.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This is going to be our first child. We have two spoiled Maine Coon cats. My husband and I own a tax and accounting firm and have been self employed a few years now. We live in Southern California and love Disneyland trips.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Sore boobs, some cramping, and evening headaches. My body has been screaming for meat and vegetables the past week so making it much easier to eat healthy. Emotionally I’m mostly good other than the idea of having a baby in the middle of our tax season but we’ll make it.
Hi ladies, looks like my stay here with you all will be short and sweet. I started spotting at 5w today and called my physicians office. They said go to the ER to rule out ectopic and get betas, etc. After an US and blood work it was determined that my betas were really low for 5w and I'm starting to miscarry a CP. Now that this is MC #2 in a row I will hopefully find out what may be going on, or if I've just had really bad luck. It just sucks that miscarriages are my only pregnancy experience so far. It has totally sucked the magic and enjoyment out of it. Here's to trucking along and trying again...
With that being said I wish you ladies all a happy and healthy 9 months so sad to be leaving you all you seem so wonderful! If anyone is in my boat feel free to commiserate on the TTC board.
@wunderkai I am so so so sorry for your loss. I had two losses before having my two LC so it is definitely possible to have success. I had RPL testing that didn’t turn up anything and it was chalked up to really crappy luck. I hope you get answers and your rainbow soon. ❤️
Re: Introduction

I just feel very alone.
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙
July 4th
Due Date: March 22
Hi, I’m Shari
Hi, I’m Katie.
Due date: March 15, 2023
Due date: 3/5/23
How you found out: I thought my new BC pill was having awful effects on me. I was exhausted and super nauseous at night. Spoiler: it wasn’t the pill
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have an 8 years old son and 6 year old daughter - and a Cunucu pup from Aruba named Lulani.
I barely had any symptoms with my other pregnancies so I’m chopping it up to my “advanced maternal age” ::eye roll::
I’m THRILLED to be in summer break until September but worried about telling my boss that I’ll be out on maternity leave. We are so short staffed and students are so behind because of COVID.
Due date: I am due March 30.
My first I had a HUGE aversion to meat in the first tri. It was awful cause it was summer and grilling season. Couldn't stand the smell. Hasn't happened yet this go around.
, 💙💙💙💙💙💙

With that being said I wish you ladies all a happy and healthy 9 months
