    My cycle is also 31-33 days, and I tend to ovulate CD20-21, so I’m always behind what they “expect” based on LMP - with my first, I was pretty freaked out, but the ultrasound did match up with when I got a BFP, and then I also knew more about my cycle with my second and third (and now 4th), so I knew going in it would be off based on my LMP and let them know in have a longer cycle and ovulate later.

    @runningyogimama thank you! I figured out how to change it after I wrote my initial post. Then I couldn’t figure out how to delete my original post and repost with my new name lol.

    I appreciate your input. My ultrasound does match when I got a BFP too so keeping fingers crossed.

    Top photo is my 5w3d ultrasound (the nurse called it an A+ yolk sac) from last week, bottom photo is 5w2d from the pregnancy I miscarried at 12 weeks because of trisomy 21. 

    Both were IVF pregnancies but I used a tested embryo this time around (it’s a boy!). Next ultrasound is next week and I think this two week wait between ultrasounds is somehow the worst one. Ahhhh!

    I go tomorrow for my first ultrasound… well, first scheduled. I ended up in the ER last Friday due to bleeding - I was 5w5d and they found the gestational sack, yolk sack and fetal pole. Tomorrow I’ll be 7w1d so hoping for a strong heartbeat!

    I had an early scan at the RE and imagine my surprise… there are two gestational sacs. I’m flabbergasted. One has a yolk sac visible, one doesn’t. Could be a matter of time or a blighted ovum, time will tell. I’m floored and overwhelmed x100000. Going back on Wednesday for a blood redraw since my TSH was 7.99(!!!!! WTAF) and insisted on another u/s since I’ll be there already.

    @laurenmicheley 7.99! How are you functioning? That’s what mine was after my third was born, and I remember just sitting at my desk at work with my head on the desk because I just couldn’t function. But, if there are possibly 2 in there, maybe it just threw your hormones completely off - eeek!!

    @laurenmicheley that's how I find out my first pregnancy was twins! An early scan and a ton of shock!! FX for you!

    @runningyogimama Yeah, I bugged out when I saw that number. When I was in for betas I was at 3.5 or so and started Synthroid then. I’ve never had high TSH with any of my previous pregnancies. I am very tired. I spoke to my BFF about it who has hashimotos and before she even knew I have two cooking, she said the only thing that really makes sense is if I’m KO with twins. 

    @LaceyBee522 I started to cry and the sonographer was like “are those happy tears or not so happy?” I was like, “Girl, both.” My bro and SIL have twins, one of whom is special needs. My eyes are wide open to the pregnancy complications and challenges raising two so I think I’m having a difficult time wrapping my head around things.

    I had my first appointment today! I’m only 5+3 based off my tracking but my lmp would put me closer to 8. We were able to see the gestational and yolk sac so that confirms I’m still pretty early. I kinda expected them to do some blood work but after seeing how early I was (I told them I would be!) they wanted me to come back next week for a viability appointment. Is that normal? Will one week this early make a difference? First timer here if you couldn’t tell 🤪

    Had my nurse’s phone call appointment today and set up my first US for July 8th! Excited and a little nervous to wait so long. I’m also feeling like it’s gonna be hard to pretend not to be pregnant for that long, since I think I’m developing a little baby bump a bit sooner than last time. Oh well, people will probably guess anyway. 🤷‍♀️😂

    @paigemd23 Normal for them to have you come a week later. 6w+3 still may be a little early to see a HB, but also maybe not!

    @LaceyBee522 Thanks!! It’s a relief, for sure. I was so nervous when I was waiting that my (normally low) BP was 150/80, lol!

    So lovely to see all of these responses and being part of a community!! 32, first pregnancy currently estimating at 7wks 5days. I have my first appt on July 7th and to say I’m counting down would be an understatement! Hoping all goes well. So far, my little blimp is already kicking my butt with these 1st tri symptoms 🥹

    I have my second US today! I had my first last week but was only 5w2d (according to my calculations) so they wanted me back to make sure it’s progressing. Excited to go back in but still very nervous.

    My first prenatal appointment was this morning! I’m measuring 10 days later than my LMP predicts so heading back next week for a due date confirmation! 2/13 is my estimated due date right now ❤️

    At 5 weeks 5 days had my first ultrasound. The heart rate was at 84. The nurse said they normally like it at 90 or above. She also said that she might have been picking up my heart rate and not babies. I go back next week, but I am a hot mess at this point!

    Something felt a little off so I went in a week before my 1st scheduled ultrasound convinced I’d be getting bad news. But everything looks great! GA is 6w6d and baby is measuring a couple of days behind but has a strong heartbeat! So excited ❤️ But I wish I knew which was the head 😂
