Hi I’m Cam, I’m 24 years old and currently 11 weeks pregnant! My husband and I found out we’re having our first baby by me pissing on a stick! I was very tired all the time and had a feeling something was off and there it was - two pink lines on the test. We are very excited about the baby! I love to usually go outside with my dogs and watch true crime, but since I’m always tired, the first seems to not be as enjoyable. We live in Colorado so going outside is usually the “thing” to do haha. I had to stop taking my antidepressants and coping with that was honestly easier than expected. I haven’t been too emotional besides crying at the slightest sad commercial. We just had our second ultrasound and baby looks perfect! Got to hear his (I’m almost sure it’s a boy, husband wants a girl) heartbeat and I’m already feeling flutters in my stomach. The OB confirmed that someone women can feel baby even THIS early, I was shocked! Anyways I love reading everyone’s stories and would love new mommy friends!
Hi, I'm Rachel, due October 4th with our rainbow baby. I live in western MA with my husband and our cat. I had a surgically treated ectopic pregnancy in December where they removed my right fallopian tube. I got pregnant again not long after, before I even got a period, so my due date is based solely off the size measurements in my ultrasounds. Very excited, but also very anxious that something could go wrong again. Hello everyone!!
Hello! My name is Savana. I am 23-years-old and I live in Florida. My husband and I got married a year and a half ago, and are now expecting our first child! I am eight weeks one day today. Been feeling pretty good. Just a lot of food aversions which can make staying healthy difficult. but hopefully morning sickness will diminish after this first trimester as I hear it does for a lot of people. I had blood work done this past week as there was a concern about miscarriage since I have MTHFR gene mutation. Surprisingly the results came back really good with progesterone in normal range, and hCG skyrocketing high. The midwife said either our dates are off or I could be expecting multiples!😮 we find out tomorrow through ultrasound how many we’re having and cannot wait to hear the heartbeat!! Looking forward to chatting with you all on here!
I did my intro last night but it didn't show up. Let's try again
I'm 33 years old and pregnant with boy #4. My fiance is a 33 year old fire fighter. We are getting married in June. I'm considered high risk due to high blood pressure, pre eclampsia, threatened preterm labor during previous pregnancies. I also have PCOS. I will be having weekly appointments until my BP is managed. I will also see a maternal fetal medicine specialist this time. I'm still in shock after over a year of trying and an early loss.
I can't wait to get to know everyone. I have been a member of a bump birth month group with my previous boys February 2012 April 2016 May 2019
Hi! I’m Crystal, 29 years old, just got married and now my first baby! 🤩
Due date: Oct. 11, 2022
Felt a bit funny and cranky, therefore I took a pregnancy test on my 5th week!
I currently have a pet hamster named Coconut. I am unemployed and taking a break. Just got married to my husband Jan. 2nd. 2022!
I am a high risk pregnancy due to my type 2 diabetes. Therefore I’ve been taking insulin and trying my best to normalize my blood sugars. I’ve been seeing the doctor every week. But I am going to have my first big ultrasound screening soon! Super excited to see a finally larger and clearer image of the little bumpy.
I also suffer from a mental health disorder and it was really difficult to handle, therefore I’m back on medication and I feel so much better and more at peace, phew…
And that wraps up the update!
*extra news* In my culture there is a word called Tae-Mong which is basically a pregnancy dream that dictates what gender your child is and the personality of your child. It’s pretty fun to learn about although I can’t say if it’s super accurate! 🤣
Essentially, if you had a particular dream you remember prior to pregnancy or during the pregnancy and it’s very vivid and you remember it well, it may have been Tae-mong! Find out more by googling! ^^
@coffeegom Coconut is a great hamster name! Also that is fascinating about Tae-mong. I haven't been remembering my dreams lately but maybe I will later on. Welcome to the group!
Hey everyone! My name is Tiara and I’m 29 years old. I’m from Connecticut and I am expecting my second. My son will be 2 next month! This pregnancy actually came as a surprise seeing as I was on the pill and we still managed to conceive, but we are still looking forward to every bit of it! We just had our first ultrasound and found out that our original due date of October 17th was off by two weeks. We are now expecting our little womb nugget on Halloween! 🎃
@coffeegom Okay, love learning this little cultural belief- Taemong. I had the most vivid (and confirmed accurate) dreams for both of my girls. I dreamed they were girls and I dreamed of their very specific hair colors. My first, I pictured a white-blonde little head (like, Elsa white…WHITE “blonde”) and she was born exactly that. Next baby pictured dark dark brown hair that eventually lightened to the lightest brunette & my 2nd is exactly that 😆 plus dreamt they were girls before it was confirmed.
Pregnant with my third, but not finding out the sex. Reeeelly hoping I get some sort of dream to see if I’m right a third time 🤩 our girls look so wildly different, you would never think they’re 100% blood sisters. So, imagining a third is just so fun. Will he/she look like one of them? A blend? Or will we have a third “unrelated” sibling 🤣 channeling all the taemong vibes
@coffeegom when I was pregnant with my first I was convinced she would be a boy. Then a few days before our 20 week ultra sound I had this vivid dream of my husband running around in the grass with a super blonde pigtailed girl. When she was about 3 or so, we were goofing off at his sister’s house with hoses and running around, and it was like the snippet out of my dream from before she was born. It was so wild!
Our family does things a little differently (we joke that it’s a thing about rules but honestly I’m all about efficiency & time management) but I figure I ought to do my intro sooner or later.
I’m Celesta, from Michigan. My husband and I have been married 7 years, share our 4 year old daughter, and have struggled to conceive since our first miscarriage in 2013. We found out years later that I had a 10cm mass that had encircled my right ovary & Fallopian tube, which required surgical removal in order to have any chance at conception. Nearly 1 year later, we beat the odds and found out I was pregnant with our daughter. We’ve been trying for #2 since she was 18 months… so a while. This will end up being our last, I’m sure.
My OB won’t see me til April 19th, which I think is a bit ridiculous seeing as they know my history (36 y/o, prior losses, prior Severe post-partum preeclampsia, etc) - and still no confirmed due date 🙄 - but since I was tracking everything, I’m estimating 10/15.
This is already so long but to add something a bit more light-hearted, our family enjoys Frozen sing-alongs in the car, weekend dance parties, and camping. Our dogs enjoys the singing least, but I think she’s getting used to it
Hi everyone, my name’s Jacque (and Kel) we’re 29 (and 32) years old and this is our first baby. It came as a surprise because I had been taking the birth control pill up until this week when we first found out. I took a pregnancy test after my period was late, but 4 positive tests later and I still wasn’t fully convinced.. We had an ultrasound a few days later and the fetus is a little over 13 weeks along. I had no symptoms besides tender breast which I didn’t think I needed to worry about. Due date is set for October 8th.
Me and Kel like to eat good food and hike. We have 3 dogs so we’re pretty active. Because I didn’t know I was pregnant until this week I had not been eating/drinking healthy or taking any prenatal supplements. I worry now that me not knowing and not taking appropriate action until after the first trimester was pretty much over, might have caused an issue with the developing fetus? The more I think about it the more I worry. I don’t drink as much water as I know I should either but as soon as I found out I’ve put in effort. We’re new to this all but I worry something could be wrong because we were so late to the game. Feeling very stressed and anxiously awaiting our 16week appointment.
Hi! I’m Jenna. I live in West Central Alberta in a little town along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
My DD was November 1st and I posted an intro in the November group. I can’t figure out how to delete it. I just went for my ultrasound and to my surprise I’m measuring a whole week ahead of where I thought I was! I was not expecting that. New DD is October 26th.
This is my second. My husband and I tried for years, suffered a late term loss and 5 years after that we finally welcomed our Daughter Navy last year. I was on medication due to a PCOS diagnosis for both pregnancies. I got my PPT on Navy’s first birthday! It was such a special day.
My husband and I both work in the oilfield. He’s a facility & pipeline construction supervisor. And I am a dual ticketed welder & pipefitter. I also do quality control which is more the paper end of things which is what I’ve been doing since I got pregnant with Navy. I currently work part time from home. We like to hunt, fish and camp. I’m very excited, feeling very nauseous and other usual stuff like heartburn, super tired, headaches. But I try to embrace it! It’s a miracle I feel blessed to experience.
Hi! My name is Chloe and I’m 16. I’m a ftm and currently 13 weeks and 5 days! I’m due October 13th! After not being sure when the last date of my period was and being really irresponsible with birth control and my with my actions in January I took a test in February and saw two pink lines. It was a surprise but luckily ended up being a good one in my situation. My boyfriend is supportive in every way possible just like my family, and everything is getting really exciting!
My symptoms have been bad cramping and feeling like I have constant colds. I really haven’t gotten nauseous unless eating/drinking something absurd (like a large sprite from Sonic) But just like from what I’ve read my symptoms have fizzled out the pass week. Mentally I sometimes have toddler moments. I will get upset and cry and be over it in five minutes lol.
In late march I told my friends and family that didn’t know already. Socially I haven’t had any bad reactions to my face or on social media like I thought I was going to get being so young. Everyone has either just stayed out of it or have been really supportive (mostly supportive).
Luckily for me stuff has been working out in my favor and I’m really excited to learn and grow through this experience! My doctor and a couple of people recommended this app to see cool facts about the baby and pregnancy. I hope I’ll learn a lot!

Hi Chloe! I am also a 16 year old ftm (12w) and it just made me really happy and excited to see that I’m not alone here! I’m really happy to hear that you’ve had a ton of support with other people that you’ve told, as that hasn’t always been the case in my situation over here, outside of my family and boyfriends support. Don’t be afraid to ask any questions even if they don’t seem super significant or dumb to you, because the people here have been amazing and super helpful with whatever you ask! Congrats!! Super excited for you and your little one!
Absolutely Chloe and Daisy! Being a first time mom is super scary and there is so much to learn. It gets very overwhelming. Ask away! There is an "Ask a STM+" thread that should help.
But hi, I’m Holly, 26, Ohio. This will be my husband’s and i’s first baby
I have 3 fur babies (2 boxers, 1 cat).
My husband and I had been trying for a year to get pregnant. I have PCOS so it’s been harder for us. Been having to take medication to make sure I ovulate and have a period. Then I suffered a miscarriage (first pregnancy) in November of twins (found out that I was pregnant in October). So this pregnancy I’ve been feeling a little anxious. I’m currently 12 weeks and I’m due October 25th! Everything has been looking good so far and my genetic test came back good as well. We find out the gender on the 24th!
I found out on Valentine’s Day, just had feeling to take a test at like 5pm at night lol it was still 2-3 days before my period was to come.
I work for a dog company which I love, I am on the operations side of it and yes I can take my dogs to work lol
Hello Mama's! I'm a little late to the group intros.. I'm Crystal, 32, pregnant with baby #2 which is due October 7th. I have a 3 year old daughter. I'm a CNA and a student.. I had a feeling I was pregnant because my boobies were really sore and I started craving lemons, like i was eating lemons as of they were oranges. I took a test and it was positive! Funny thing is I found out I was pregnant the same day as my when i was positive with my daughter (feb 2nd). We are excited to have an addition to the family! I'm happy to be a part of this little online community for support and to share our journeys together.
Hi everyone, I'm Danielle and my husband and I are expecting our first on October 14! We were TTC but weren't too serious about it yet, just "whatever happens, when it happens." I was at a conference for work in February and felt weird the whole time. I was expecting my period two days after I got back and it didn't come - Sure enough, I was pregnant! I felt tired in my first trimester and had some nausea and food aversions, but those let up about a month ago (still tired!) for me so I am quite lucky. Really excited to connect with you all over the next few months here.
Very late to the game here, but never got around to writing this haha.
My name is Daisy, I’m sixteen and my boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby on October 25th!
So the both of us had suspected I was pregnant for a couple weeks before I took a test, but had kind of ignored it and/or had the mentality that I wasn’t and that wasn’t gonna actually happen in the end. But after a couple weeks of not getting my period and having a bunch of early symptoms I finally took a test after school one afternoon that came back as very much so pregnant haha. Had an appointment soon after that and confirmed that I was in fact 5 weeks pregnant.
Support wise my family and his family have been absolutely amazing and were all just super reassuring in those first couple weeks that I could do this and they would be there to help, and my boyfriend has been so so good, going to appointments with me, dealing with all the emotions of finding out I’m a mom so young when I wasn’t planning on this, and all around so thankful for him and our families. Outside of that support circle it’s been really hard and I’ve lost a lot of close friendships due to growing up with a religious background and that not being the thing that is “okay” outside of marriage which has brought a lot of really hard emotional moments, but couldn’t be happier rn to have a child in my life even if not everyone supports us or is willing to see past our mistake and further beyond to the blessing of a child.
Favorite hobby before getting pregnant is that I absolutely love dirt biking and snowboarding!!
Morning sickness has been clearly up a lot too the past week or so which had been such a blessing haha, and overall I am very very excited to continue learn from all of you and this experience, and start my own little family!!
Introduce yourself: I've been lurking for a couple weeks, waiting to post until I felt a bit more secure with this pregnancy, and thought I'd introduce myself today! My name is Erin, and I'm 41 years old, STM, and expecting our little monster late October. My husband and I dealt with infertility and it took almost four years to meet our little miracle, who is 18 months old now. I've only ever been pregnant through IVF, and we've had three losses along the way. This was our last embryo, and considering my age was our last shot, so I had made piece with our son being an only child, but super excited for a sibling!!
Due date? October 29th, although because of past complications they won't let me go past Oct 22nd.
How did you find out? We did a frozen embryo transfer on February 10th, and I always test 8 dpt. On the 18th I saw two lines on the test which was confirmed by bloodwork on the 20th!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My husband I live on an acreage in Saskatchewan, Canada (think the middle of nowhere and then make it cold), with our 18 month old son, 1 cat, 2 dogs, 3 outdoor cats, 5 chickens, 2 horses and a mini mule. I work in Finance and have been mostly working from home since covid started, which has been great for early pregnancy symptoms! We're building a house on the acreage this year and excited to have the extra space... plan is to be ready to move in early October, with baby coming a couple weeks later!!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?): I've been feeling pretty good lately. Nausea is pretty much gone now, and energy is coming back. I have a peri-gestational hematoma, so have been spotting off and on for 5 weeks now. Given our history of losses it's been nerve wracking, but I've heard/seen the little heartbeat enough times that even with the spotting I'm feeling a bit more confident.
@mia80 welcome!! We are due date twins! We also did our embryo transfer on 2/10. I can imagine how stressful all of the spotting must be but I’m glad everything seems to be going well!

The spotting is driving me nuts!!! I had an appointment with my OB this morning and heard the heartbeat, so I'm feeling okay today. And she said that it 'should' resolve itself soon... but she said the same thing two weeks ago!!!
Hello! I’m SUPER late to the game as I’ve been in this discussion group since I found out I am pregnant in early Feb!
I am 28 from Minnesota and this is mine and my husbands first! We’ve been married just over 2 years. Pregnancy was neither planned or unplanned … I’m medically anxious and after watching friends struggle for years to get pregnant decided to stop preventing to see what would happen, two weeks later we had a positive test!
I’m feeling grateful for a relatively easy pregnancy- very few symptoms which has been great but also sparked some anxiety at first! Due Oct 11
Hey all. I've been lurking some of the discussions for a couple months now, so figured I'd finally do an intro. I am 35 years old, live in Ontario Canada, and my husband and I have been married for over 13 years (high school sweethearts and we went to university together). I am due Oct 8, and we have 3 kids who will be 2, 9, and 10 when baby is born.
We weren't trying... in fact, we were done having kids (toddler was already our "oops, should have been more careful" baby), and were using condoms VERY carefully until hubby could get in for his procedure booked in May. When I started feeling off, tired, and a bit nauseous, I actually took a covid test first! It was negative, lol. My period was late, but I randomly have super long 40+ day cycles a few times a year, take a test, and it's always been negative. So I bought a cheapie test to put my mind at ease... and when two lines showed up, it had very much the opposite effect, haha! 🤦♀️ I was pretty shaken, shocked, and upset because this was NOT our plan, and I did NOT want to be pregnant, give birth, and go through the newborn phase again (which then induces guilt because I know so many people pray and dream about having a baby, and it's SO hard!), but I'm slowly getting used to the idea. I am glad that our youngest will have a sibling closer to her in age, as there was a 7 year gap.
Starting in mid March, we had a rough month of covid in the house, which lasted for about 3 weeks for my husband and I, followed by a nasty bout of gastro! Now we're all better, the first trimester exhaustion and nausea are done, and we're diving headfirst into house renos to make a couple basement bedrooms for the older 2 kids, because we're about to have 6 people living in a 3 bedroom house.
I felt baby move the first time yesterday (16w6d), then last night I had a fun pregnancy dream of going for a pap smear and finding out I have pubic lice 😂😂, so that (plus having seen baby on the ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat at my last midwife appt) helps make it more real. It really is happening, and like my aunt said once about her situation, "I guess all I have to do to get pregnant is sit on the same bicycle seat as him!" Oh man🤦♀️
Hello! My name is Andrea and I’m 28, I’ll be 29 when I deliver our girl. My due date is 10/22.
I was a week late when I tested and I didn’t even have to wait for my tests to turn positive lol we weren’t trying but not preventing either. I found out the gender by doing a sneak peek test, their new arm option was so easy and painless.
Some days I’m more nervous about baby than others but my boyfriend and I are very excited. Even though I’m almost 16 weeks, I’m easily turned off by a lot of foods and find it hard to eat most days. I’ve lost weight since getting pregnant but I’m curvy so I don’t mind at all haha I do have a cute bump tho.
Hi hi! My name is Eisely and I am 31, currently 19 wks pregnant with my first. Due date: 10/5. I found out February 4th: I was 3 days late and finally took a test, expecting a negative because I had been off birth control for almost 2 years and assumed it was not going to happen. My spouse and I have two doggerts, 4 chickies, and two freshwater fish tanks with fish and snails and a frog. I do data entry for a hospital. Physically I feel very lucky to say I've had a fairly mild go compared to what I expected. Emotionally has been a bit of a different situation, however I came into this amplified world of hormones with some pre-existing mental health, mood and affective difficulties. The good thing about that is I was already working with a great professional. There was a net in place to catch my nosedive into the deep end of the estrogen+progesterone pool. (😅 I try to keep it light.) I've been working to harness this amazing moment in brain plasticity to learn all the tools to regulate and self-soothe and get ready for this Little One who is coming soon! Excited to follow this journey in a community. 💚
Heyyyy gal pals!!! I just had my first baby two months ago and her name is Ferb the third!! She's such a beautiful baby girly wirly and i'm so excited to start talking and sharing my experiences with you girly pops!!! <333

The spotting is driving me nuts!!! I had an appointment with my OB this morning and heard the heartbeat, so I'm feeling okay today. And she said that it 'should' resolve itself soon... but she said the same thing two weeks ago!!!
It really is happening, and like my aunt said once about her situation, "I guess all I have to do to get pregnant is sit on the same bicycle seat as him!" Oh man🤦♀️
I was a week late when I tested and I didn’t even have to wait for my tests to turn positive lol we weren’t trying but not preventing either.
Due Oct 6th with a set of twins boy and girl.
I am 28 years old and already have a 3 year old boy.
Im not married but have been with my partner for 10 years now.
I work in a call center still working from home currently.
